Do these employees at tires on location sit around smoking crack & shooting up on heroin every day? I purchased an OEM customized, very expensive electric motor/wheel from a factory - It arrived wrapped in 2 layers of plastic so nothing would get scratched. I took it to Tires on Location to install a tire...they charged me $65(plus tip) (!!!) to install ONE TIRE! And EXACTLY AS THE LAST TWO POSTERS - THEY DESTROYED MY WHEEL! I own a tire changer - the ONLY way you scratch rims this way - - is if it is intentional, callous, or being inept. I think "Tires on Location" is all three. read more

We have used Tires on location for about 5 yrs, useing them for our company vehicles and personal. 2 3 months ago had them come out for my car oil change n tire rotation kid was here 30 mins tops said he rotated but didnt n charged us for it, last month my husband had them come out for his work truck, actually watched him threw our window , 20 mins , hubby says you changed the tires right ? Kid says yes sir..so hubby pays him gives him a tip even calls owner and says I physically watched your employee NOT rotate the tires and gave him the opportunity to he HONEST he didnt still charged us. Now yesterday they came out to change oil in my fairly new car & rotate, I go out there is a giant puddle of oil grease prints all over my car and kid proceeds to say oh the last guy which he has mental problems anyway put the oil filter in too tight, Well WHO PUTS AN OIL FILTER IN AFTER YOU CHANGE TGE OIL so now I go to move the car back so I could work on an oil spill they created and my car check engine light is on and says engine in distress! They were trying to beat it out of here before I saw it..Im like wait a minute whats this!? He says oh I gotta go back to shop after they close and get the computer to get that code off n reset car, im like ok its after 5 now. Again call owner owner says he will come up. Never did said the original guy that never rotated the tires that guy says im just here to clean an oil spill (also let him know his fellow employees were putting blame on him and are saying your mentally ill) my husband calls owner whom now proceeds to say he cant get up here but is sending the 1st guys back. We own a successful HVAC company we know mechanics so a simple oil change turned into a nightmare and now I have the worry that they permanently F'ed my vehicle up which after I drive it today if 1 drop leaks my lawyer will be my 1st call. TOTAL INCOMPETENCEY They used to he efficient but ever since some divorce or something happened with the owner its been shit! We will no longer be useing their services and will try Pit stop . I think the owner should get his ass back into a truck and retrain his employees! read more

Been living in KW for a year and a half now. We have 12 year old jeep and she's had a hard time adapting to island life. Drove her from Chicago to Key West. So when we settled in and started to have some mechanical issues, we found Tires on Location. Being new to a town and not knowing if you are finding an honest business to do the work, naturally we were nervous about pricing, quality, and honesty! Tires on repair did not let us down!!!! They stand behind their work and the prices were very reasonable! Sorry but have to write a very bad review. Called to order tires to match my back, they were on back order and had no idea when they would be able to get them so I told the guy to order what he could for my front, as I need my car, no big deal, it's a 2006, so I don't need special tires. Set up an appointment for Saturday at 11am with the guy and got called early that morning by a lady telling me my tires were in and when would I like to set up an appointment. I informed her I was supposed to be called on Friday to let me know they got in and that I have an appointment at 11am. She seemed to be looking for the appointment and then informed me she set it up for 1pm. I said no, 11am and she said they did not have any one at that time, so I said okay 1pm would be fine. Well, if they would have honored my 11am prescheduled appointment, I would have gotten my car done on Saturday, but due to her mistake, a guy called me some time after 12pm to inform me due to the weather, they would not be able to do my tires and asked when I would like to reschedule. I said Monday and he said that would be hard that they were booked but he would do what he could to squeeze me in, to which they did. Now, I will go back to Thursday when the guy called me about not being able to get the matching tires. Told him to order what he could and we discussed the price to which I was informed by him, that it would be $440.00 total. I asked, total for everything and he said "YES, tires, mount and balanced", so I said order them please. Fast forward to today, Monday, September 8, 2025, got called they were there to install, but I did not need to be there and would send me via text for payment. WOW, did I get a big shock. My quote by the guy on Thursday went from $440.00 for everything, to $546.97. So, I called the office and asked the lady that answered why did it jump so much higher than I was quoted, she informed me that there was a $50.00 location fee, but that was never included in the or told to me. But doing my own math, if I was quoted $440.00 + $50.00 = $490.00, then if he did not quote the price adding include the tax of 7.5%, then the price should be $473.00. I do not think tax should be added to the $50.00 location fee. So, if you add the $473.00 = $50.00 = $523.00. If they do tax the location fee, it still should only be $526.75, but the quote is now $546.97, difference of $106.97 RIP OFF COMPANY read more

My Poor car picked up a nail from somewhere, and my husband attempted to change it to the spare, well he found the nail, and pulled it out, my tire was like a balloon, totally flat to the rim. The bigger problem was i had my tires rotated recently and the lugs were put back on with an air gun, physically impossible to remove by a human. Through Neighborhood I found one guy and he said to call this company; I am so glad I did; My tire is plugged, back inflated and so reasonable. I have their number on speed dial. Great service to the community. Needed for new tires installed and they were able to set an appointment only a few days away. I only docked a star because they were 2 hours late to my appointment. I understand things happen so it wasn't a huge deal. Had an issue with one tire a few days later losing air and they were able to come by that day to fix the issue. It wasn't their fault (key west salty air corrosion on wheels) but they still fixed at no charge. Big fan of this company and will use in the future. read more

I hesitate to write this, because it's hard to find a good mechanic in this town who won't gouge you.....or a anywhere....ofr anyting thse days! I'm afraid this will cause more people to flock to them, and there goes their (almost ) on demand service! I had "engine maintenance" light go on. Scanner said it was EVAP system. My wife's BMW X3 is special and special to her so when we needed to replace a pair of tires and I didn't have easy access to the gear to do it. I took the advice of a good friend and called TIRES ON LOCATION. They were very responsive. In our case she couldn't get tires as fast as a supplier I use but she was happy to send her crew to mount, balance and rotate them. They arrived ON TIME. The mobile rig is clean, well set up and Tony and his partner turned to, moved quickly AND CORRECTLY through the project. They we done in 30 mins in our carport. They torqued the alloy wheels correctly and the balancing machine is both current tech and regularly calibrated. I have been an aviation professional ( A&PIA instructor and CFI) for over fifty years so I understand these processes and my very high recommendation comes with a very professional perspective. We were on travel from NY and we were so lucky to find this repair shop. The mechanics and owner were fantastic. We need a ball joint replaced and they were able to accommodate right away. I called the day before and had an appointment first thing the next day. The repair was done within a couple of hours and we were back on our way. We went back to give a tip to the mechanic and as soon as we pulled in the owner can to see us to make sure everything was ok. Wow that is service and dedication to ensuring the customer has all set. I had used Yelp to find Tires on Location ---which was exactly what I needed. My 4 tires of the Mini had degraded to the point that it was no longer safe to drive the vehicle. I called on Monday afternoon and they arrived on Tuesday afternoon, as they said they would. They did the entire procedure in under 45 minutes. Kind. Thorough. I would recommend them to you --especially if you are in a jam. I think they are priced fairly but I can't say for sure because I didn't do any other research.
