Charged $157 in labor to replace the wheel hub assembly. Very reasonable price. Will go back.

After investigating, they found the two front brake pads were installed incorrectly, the inners were placed on the outside and the outers were placed on the inside. Which caused a heat crack in the brake pads and damaged to the rotors, we had new brake pads installed again and they re surfaced the rotors . We went to Plano Quick Care, to show Oscar, the manager , the original brake pads with the heat cracks and the pictures of what the mechanic found regarding the incorrectly installed brake pads and it was documented on paperwork from an ASE Certified automotive location. We wanted him to make things right and at least offer funds to help pay for part of the new install and not a $130.00 in-store credit. Oscar, decided that we didn't give him a fair shake by not coming to him first to have the problem fixed . First of all, we didn't not know the brake pads or rotors were the problem since they are less then 4 months old and after finding that out ,put yourself in our shoes, why would I bring my truck back to your location where your mechanics are the ones who created the problem by not correctly installing the brake pads on the truck. I do not recommend this place due to employees not be properly trained to work in the automotive industry and have caused us more problems with our Truck.

Full Story below: **********6/4/2026 UPDATE **************** I brought my truck in a few weeks ago for a parking brake repair. It had gotten lodged in my driver side rear wheel. While there, the technician said I have 2 options, remove the mechanism and be without or rebuild the parking brake system. I opted to have it rebuilt. He called me back an hour later saying he had to slide out the axle to get it out and while he did that, he noticed there was damage to the axle shaft and it would be an additional $1300. I asked him to send me pictures of it. He called me back an hour later and said it was actually fine and the part he thought he was looking at was actually on the other side, but because he had to slide out the axle, I need to pay for differential fluid. Also, he said he was not actually able to rebuild the parking brake so he just ziptied the cable up to the frame and said I would need to take it somewhere else. Fast forward to (6/4), I noticed my driver side rear wheel started making a clicking noise this week. I brought it back to this shop to have them look at it. I let them know about the work they did previously and to have a look at it for me. They called me back and said it is damage to the axle and that I need to take it somewhere else because they cannot service or slide out the axle on a 4 wheel drive truck to have a look. I said, well what was your guy doing a couple weeks ago when he specifically told me he slid it out and also that I was going to need pay an additional $1300 for 'damage' he was seeing to the axle shaft teeth. Also, if you cannot slide it out, why did I pay for differential fluid. He said he will call me back and has to talk with his manager. Called me back and said their technician is saying there was already damage, he did not slide out the axle, and that he did not do anything (this employee is actually no longer with their shop, left a couple weeks ago). The best they can do is cover the differential fluid that they are not sure why I was charged for. He basically accused me of lying and said they will not be covering any repairs needed. ************* UPDATE 6/15/2026************************** 6/4: I took my truck to another shop for them to look at my axle to fix the damage done by this Jiffy Lube shop. They told me there is nothing wrong with my axle and the noise I was hearing is coming from the hub and the parking brake cable lever hitting the back of the studs and was due to the work they completed on my truck. I asked them if they can fix it, they said they could, but they do not want to touch it because the parking brake mechanism should have never been removed and left like that. After not hearing from the area manager or the owner of this franchise (even after emailing them when they responded to my Google review), I decided to put a complaint in with the Jiffy Lube corporate office on 6/4. They told me I would hear from the franchise owner within 72 hours and if I do not hear within that time, to reach back out to the corporate team. 72 hours came and went with nothing. I let the corporate team know on 6/10, they said they were escalating it and to let them know otherwise. Still nothing back from anyone at the shop by 6/14, so I let the corporate office know. They sent me a response on 6/15 stating that the franchisee told them that their district manager has spoken with me several times and I have hung up on them and no longer take their calls. THIS IS A LIE. No one reached out to me to discuss these issues or get an update regarding what the other shop had found. I let the corporate team know that he was lying to them. 6/15, I finally get an email (not a call) from someone with their shop named Mike (not the franchise owner as was supposed to be done). He states more of the same lies, but this time added a new one. The reason they did not replace my parking brake mechanism is because I DID NOT authorize the work. According to him, it was my fault the work was not done. On top of being called a liar yet again, he told me he spoke with the franchise owner and they will not be standing behind their work and making this right. They left me with unsecured mechanical parts which is a severe safety hazard. They are unwilling to correct this and told me to bring legal counsel if I want anything done.

Gave Belle Tire in Yorkville as soon as they opened and have gone to them for basically everything…read morethat they can do for me since. I have used both chain shops and local, private-owned shops in the past but have received the best service and pricing from Belle Tire by far. They typically accept walk-ins at any point throughout the day and can tackle a range of issues from simple tasks like light bulbs/fuses; to oil changes; to any kind of tire/brakes maintenance; to mechanical/electrical issues; and many more. I purchased a full set of tires (4) from them at the beginning of June 2023 and purchased the tire insurance plan which I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for tires. They have plugged my tires multiple times no questions and even replaced one completely. When they replaced it they also rotated the tires for free at the time as per the insurance. I'm not even certain exactly how much money it has saved me and will continue to save me in the future. They also replaced my front passenger ball joint and alignment which caused the car to now run as if it's brand new again. That we obviously paid for and their pricing was comparable/less than many other shops in the area for the work that needed to be done on the ball joint. I will be having them do my oil change this coming week and my mother is going to have them replace the brakes on her Mercedes SL550 AMG (which demonstrates how much we trust and support this garage). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone as their prices are competitive, employees are friendly, don't try to upsell on everything, and are extremely knowledgeable and flexible. If you are having any issues with your vehicle and/or need some kind of maintenance done, I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND BELLE TIRE (especially over any other mechanic shop in yorkcille that I have seen/been in/had work done on vehicles at). This shop and the workers go above and beyond to make sure eveyone is happy and seem to help people find the best (most affordable for what they want) option(s) for their vehicle(s). They don't require an arm or leg as payment and point out the differences between things or lack of difference for the best pricing for the consumer. My family are all starting to use Belle Tire, and I can see us sticking with the company so long as the essence of the company and pricing/policies don't get ridiculous. TLDR: Belle Tire is amazing and has fantastic pricing, perks, employees, and more. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

This will be a very long review in order to include all info…read more.. This place used to be awesome... But over the last couple years the quality and integrity have drastically declined. Brought my jeep in because I thought the shocks were bad and had a check engine light, I was told the issue was a module for the air suspension. I was quoted about 2k to fix. It wasn't super important to me but I planned on keeping the vehicle so I just did it. Immediately after picking up the vehicle the engine light went on again and it was the same code. They looked at it again and said now I need some other 2k part. I told them I would have NEVER spend 4k to fix this and basically got screwed out of 2k. Fast forward, because I did have some history with this place I assumed what happened may have been a fluke but I was extremely wrong. Brought the same vehicle in because I had a code for misfire in cylinder 5 and the engine had a tick sound. They inspected and told me it just needed plugs and coils. I have a voicemail from them specifically stating a tune up will definitely fix my issue and it was almost 1,100! I said go ahead and do the work. Before I even picked up my vehicle they called and said I still have a tick and they can inspect more of course with added fees. At this point I was very mad that they misdiagnosed AGAIN and still intended to charge me full price. I called a friend who is a mechanic in Michigan and called my local Jeep dealer and with only telling them I had a misfire they BOTH immediately told me it's because of the cam and rollers which is like a 7k job! I then did a very quick google search to verify this and it seems to be a very very common issue with this make and model. I was then told by the shop manager that John (the owner) told him if we were going to "act some kinda way" over this that he would remover the labor and only charge us for the parts and to never come back (still over $500 for nothing). We had no choice but to pay since the vehicle was held hostage until we paid. Needles to say I was NEVER planning to go back there and it's really disappointing how fast this shop went down hill and no longer stands behind their work.
