Soon after I received a call from a nice lady telling me they had received the truck and would begin their diagnostics test soon. She described the test and gave me a rough idea of the cost. Everything was done faster and cheaper than I expected. Tire Star has earned a new, repeat customer with me!

Worst service I have ever received anywhere. I saw today that the Auburn, IN location is…read morepermanently closed. Thank goodness so no one else has a similar experience!! However, the corporate office that handles "guest services" has not followed through on issuing us a refund as promised. On February 8, 2025, I took my vehicle to the Auburn location for new rear brake pads. I didn't get my vehicle back until February 21st!!!! The techs somehow locked up my parking brake and couldn't get it to release. Their solution was to have us have the car towed to a dealership across the street, to have them release the brake and then re-replace the calipers they had installed. We ended up paying at least $500 more than initially expected due to all of the errors. The Monro manager - Brett - promised he would cover the cost but then didn't follow through with that and said we had to go through corporate. We did that and the corporate office agreed to refund a portion of the cost but hasn't followed through on this as of today. We have called guest services multiple times to follow-up and still nothing. I will NEVER go back to a Monro location after this experience and would advise anyone else to proceed with caution!!!!

"WARNING" Famous Blakely's mobile mechanic (Steven) is a theif a fraud and a lowlife con artist…read more I am 60 years old and have spent most of the past 2 years in and out of hospitals I am disabled for life Steven has made my life impossible to live especially without money to fix his mistakes on the truck I may as well scrap it after this fraudulent mess. I called Famous Blakely's to get a quote he seamed very nice and we agreed on a price. Well he promised he would show up first thing in the morning. Well to him first thing was 5:30 PM he smelled of booze bad I figured that was our only car so I let him proceed until about a hour later I heard banging I went out he was using a sledge hammer on the lower A Frames he assured me everything was alright and since our only way to get me to my Dr's was in that truck he went on and on that was how it was done so I gave him $300 so he had money for food and a few bucks to pick up some bushings I misplaced I had spent $800 for every part it would take to fix it back to new Well I'll keep it short but the next day was the same him wandering in around 6:00 PM and this time he was blaming me he said he had spent the entire day at a friend's putting the bushings in the A Arms I had already told him that NAPPA would do it in less than a hour and it would be done right and for only a few dollars he had lied to me that he had paid his friend $160 of the money I had given him he got mad and belligerent towards me like I didn't belive him Anyways I made him finish the job and ge conned me out of another $700 but by now I just wanted the truck finished and him gone Well the next morning we took the truck over to get new front tires and a alignment. The mechanics took my wife out to see the work that had been done they took photos and made a report they said we could been killed by his workmanship he didn't put in cotter keys on parts that to be safe required them he had banged so much with the sledge hammer on the A Arms they weren't straight and the bushings he made such a big deal about were smashed and destroyed beyond use Then with everything he screwed us on this $900 job ended costing over $1,000 and that's without the $1,100 in parts I had supplied him with and now our truck is junk and will cost me another $2500 to have a actual mechanic fix it before it kills someone and still our truck is totaled and it doesn't help get me to the Dr and Hospital appointments. I almost forvot Then to top everything he had used a grinder and ground the main bolt that holds the entire front end ball joint together completely off past even where the cotter keys went we are still in wonder how we made it to the alignment shop without wrecking and God forbid killing a innocent person. The shop we took it to for the alignment did a thorough and very extensive report with explanations and photos of all his mistakes I would be happy to send any of you copies so you can see his knowledge when it comes to working on cars We will be taking him (Steven) to court and I am sure he had done horrible workmanship to others besides me I hope you call me and join us in putting this fraud out of business and possibly jail the State of Arizona Licensing is very interested after reading that shops report. Thanks for listening and I hope you take my advice rather than putting yours and your family's life's at risk. Sincerely John Hawkins 928-614-8681 Jhawkinslv@gmail.com
