Very bad quality control. Do not recommend. We hired TireRack to come out 3 weeks ago to replace all 4 tires after getting a flat. We had to wait a week for the appointment, and when they came to install the tires the technician noticed that one was defective so he was only able to replace 3 of them and had to make another appointment for a week later. Two weeks after they replaced the 4th tire, there is now a huge bubble in one of the new tires and my car is not safe to drive. These are high quality Continental tires and we paid a hefty sum. I called tire rack to give them a chance to make things right, but they said they would need me to send photos of the tire with the rim removed. I lack the tools or knowledge to do this, so it sounds like I'm out of luck. read more

Tire Rack installed new tires and two of the 4 have had slow leaks for a year. They came back and "fixed" them but they still leak. Now they are saying the "30 day" period has expired despite communication for a year. Very poor customer service - I never should have expected this could be as good as an actual shop. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! I made an appointment to have 4 tires changed today between 3-6pm. I received a confirmation text yesterday to remind me of the appointment. This morning around 8am I get a text saying my appointment is being changed for 3 days later and that they were not able to reach me at my contact number which is ridiculous since that is the number I received the texts at. I now have to find another shop to change my tires. I called around to at least 3 of their 3rd party installers who all have quoted me a much higher price (almost double) the price quoted on tirerack's website. UPDATE. I managed to find a 3rd party installer to change my tires today and was promised my tires would be delivered to them within 2 hours. About an hour before my appointment with the new installer I checked the status of the tire delivery and saw it was being taken back to the Tire Rack Mobile Installers. I called the 3rd party installer to find out why they didn't accept the delivery of the tires and they said it was because they were only brought 2 of the 4 tires. The invoice clearly stated 4 tires but only 2 were brought to the new installer!!! I am done dealing with Tire Rack's incompetance. I spoke with customer service who said they would refund me for the tires. If you can't keep an appointment time and can't deliver the correct # of tires I have very little faith in your ability to install the tires properly. read more

The service was extremely easy to set up. I did it all after I had purchased the tires from tire rack. The tires were shipped straight to them which is a bonus. I did receive an email confirming my appointment I will say that the appointment window seemed a little big. I was told they would arrive between nine and six and they arrived at six. Which is fine however it would've been nicer to get a more of a smaller window of installation. the technicians were great and respectful of the property. Everything was explained clearly and all my questions about the sensors in particular were answered. The job was also done pretty fast so they are efficient We had Carlos and I would absolutely recommend him and the service. 5 stars!! Ordered tires online for my car, had them shipped to my house. Asap Tire was one of the highly recommended businesses for getting my tires installed. I called to many shops and they were charging $35 per tire. I researched ASAP Tire and it was $112 to mount and balance 4 low profile 21" tires, install them on my car, and dispose the old tires. Why I highly recommend Asap Tire: - They come to you - Book appointment online using simple online form, (I was able to call few days prior and get an earlier appointment. Plus they arrived 30mins early) - You can go back in the house or office and they take care of everything for you - Old tires dismounted, new tires mounted, balanced, installed on the car, and cleaned up in under 45minutes. Only con I saw is website advertises "ASAP Tire uses teflon coated sockets to prevent damaging your wheels. We apply masking tape to avoid scratches on painted brake calibers." and this did NOT happen. They used a regular impact socket. To be fair and I should have mentioned this in the original review, the company was exemplary in their handling of my expenses after the incident and did not hesitate to refund the total amount from my mechanic for the extensive repairs to the wheel hubs required to get my car back to working condition. Ive used TireRack.com for years, mainly due to the convenience of mobile installation. I think Ive had purchased 3+ sets of tires, and recommended it to countless others. The service and scheduling process has always been excellent. The people that came and service my cars have been really good. The reason for 3 stars is in what appears to be a new shift in this process from TireRack. For some reason, TireRack seems to be shifting away from mobile installation as a company feature, and downsizing or deprioritizing mobile installers - to the point where even in one of the biggest metros in the country, at an address where I had service just one year ago - TireRack now says "mobile installers are not yet in your area". Crazy. So an address that used to be serviced in a major region now has "zero" mobile installers. TireRack support says the installer in the area "recently closed" - and I can only assume they are referring to this Lorton VA location. What a shame. TireRack mobile installation was so good, and the only reason I purchased through TireRack.com . If TireRack isnt adding a value prop for me with mobile installation - why would I use them as a middleman in the tire buying process ? No point. Now I'll be taking my next set of 4 michelin's to a local ship and buying direct. Hopefully they reconsider shrinking their mobile installation footprint, and that the recent acquisition by Discount Tire isnt forcing this. read more

Review is about TireRack online purchases. Have bought many sets of tires online from TireRack for our four vehicles over the last decade. Always like Michelin brand. Buyer Beware. The road hazard insurance I bought from TireRack not only requires you to contact a third party company for pre authorization prior to getting the problem fixed, the "insurance" requires you to patch your tire, if possible instead of getting a new tire. Useless for me since I don't trust patched tires. I've had too many patches fail. As a female person out & about, the last thing I want is another flat & a six hour wait for a tow in blistering heat or freezing temps. Well, getting robbed & killed while waiting on a tow is more likely the last thing I need with crime so high these days. Michelin tires were good for years but the last set was punctured TWICE within a few weeks, so (1) one new tire not covered then (2) the 2nd new patched tire not covered because I failed to obtain pre authorization, because I didn't know. And the flats were within two weeks of install at NTB. Then on a different car with TireRack purchased tires less 1.5 years w/very low mileage and two tires go flat because losing air around rims. Maybe Michelin is not the greatest anymore? I'm not buying such a bogus, full-of-caveats road hazard policy again. read more

At this point I've waited over a week for a response from this company. They no-showed my first appointment time, sent me an email telling me they would waive the installation fee and asking me to respond, then have yet to respond to me yet. In the meantime I called to set a new appointment, they had a hard time finding my appointment in their system, then couldn't give me an appointment for at least another week, and could not guarantee getting the tires to me so I could have someone else do the installation, so I decided to stick with the new appointment just to make sure I got the tires. Then a technician showed up with only 30minutes notice, 4 days _before_ the new appointment (a completely random day). I was charged for the install despite their previous statement, but I was just going to let it slide. .... THEN, 40 miles on the new tires i got a TPMS low pressure warning from all 4 tires. 20 minutes later (and before I could even reach a gas station), my back right tire blew out, the entire sidewall failed. I contacted the same service rep from the first email, ASAP tire directly and Tire Rack directly. I waited on the phone for an 30 minutes before being forced to leave a voicemail. Now more than a day later, I have received no response from any of the contact methods, hence why I'm going out of my way to post this review. I bought tires for my BMW from Tire Rack, and they suggested ASAP Tire to install them. I called them once my tires arrived at their location (I don't like that they didn't call me first) to schedule an appointment. I live in DC, and they said they couldn't come to me because there was nowhere for them to work. As an alternative, they suggested that I come to their office in Springfield VA. This made me think they needed a ton of space to change my tires. Without any option other than to collect my new tires from them without installation, I agreed to come to them. Once I found their location (a little off the beaten path), they had me pull into a tiny space. I was miffed because they definitely could have come to me, as their service indicates, but they didn't specify how much space they needed. I saved $10 on the service, but that's how much gas cost each way. The process once started was quick and painless. It took about 30 minutes to replace 2 tires, and they took the old ones away. The guys were great and easy to deal with, though maybe a little rough with the overall experience and appointment making. That's what you get for saving more than 50% of the cost at the dealership! I'd recommend them to a friend, and I'd honestly give them 3.5 stars, so I'm rounding up for good car-ma. read more

Had an appointment for their 9 to 12 spot. Sitting on conference calls, no one rings the door bell. I look at my phone it states, your asap technician is departing. I call to find out what happened because ive been on conference calls. They stated, due to covid we no longer ring doorbells. We tried to call, but you were unavailable. I've used ASAP four times for our family fleet of three vehicles, and each installation experience has been flawless. I'm a life-long car enthusiast and am fastidious about the care and appearance of our vehicles, so I find the chaotic ambience of a typical tire store (clanging, banging, air-wrenches screaming) very disquieting. Over the years my alloy wheels have also received a few complementary scratches at such establishments. ASAP couldn't be more different. Their technicians are polite, unhurried and quietly competent, and they carefully tighten the wheels using a manual torque wrench. Even though they "promise" all the tires are in stock they never seem to have mind, so I have to either leave my car or come back another day. I purchased a set of tires from Tire Rack, and ASAP Tire was the recommended mobile installer. The tires arrived at the Tire Rack warehouse the next day, but ASAP wasn't able to install them until almost 2 weeks later. (You only find this out after you complete check out at Tire Rack.) Anyway, the day finally comes, I have my car up on my lift, wheels and tires removed for a quick and easy job for their installer, and ASAP calls me and says that their driver has some issue and they will have to postpone. I ask when they can reschedule, because I need the new tires on by next week, and am told "Not anytime soon." So I'm basically thrown all the way into the back of the queue again. Great. Very disappointed, I filled in the online vehicle description form which indicated to ASAP that I had a Sprinter 3500 with dual rear wheels and wanted 4 new tires put on the rear of my vehicle and made an appointment 3 weeks in the future. I even talked with ASAP a week before my appointment to give the my Tire Rack invoice number which they couldn't find. I arranged to be home the day of my appointment and get a call from ASAP one hour into my scheduled arrival window and was told they can not work on vehicles with rear dual wheels. I told them I stated that in their online form and was told they assumed I didn't know my vehicle. This young lady was just giving BS answers to my questions so as to not have ASAP take responsibility or have a solution. The service was amazing, the rep was extremely friendly and capable. Thanks to the computerized TPM System in my SUV, I couldn't get the system to reset.
