Crooks. Brought my Infinity in today to repair a slow leak in the middle of the tire tread from an obvious small nail that I outlined in white marker. Expected an inside patch as opposed to a plug otherwise I would have plugged it myself. Tech stated something to the effect that the nail was through the sidewall and was "non repairable ". But happy to sell me a new tire. But wait , the current tires are about at half the life expectancy. Why not just replace all 4 ? So being a crook has its financial incentive and it's certainly low hanging fruit to scam an unsuspecting female. But the risk is you may occasionally attempt to scam someone who knows better and they will write a review to expose your practices. So I knew better and took the car down the street to Tires Plus and had a patch placed for $36 read more

What a great group of professionals. On a Saturday I needed some tire repairs since I had a full Sunday of errands. From the start Matt and Kyle did a super job of fitting me into their schedule. They were busy but assure me that the car would be ready by 4:00 when they closed, and they would call earlier. True to their word, my car was ready early. Told that it was a leak on the "side" of the tire and it could not be patched. Tire Kingdom said the tire would need to be replaced and best to do with 2 new high-priced tires. Didn't believe it. Thought it was a ruse to sell tires. When we called back to say we wanted the bad tire, they suddenly said they didn't have the 2 tires + couldn't do "it." We picked up the car. The car was driven 11 hours home with no issues. Since Thanksgiving there's been a slow leak and air added periodically. The car was taken in today to address the slow leak. FUNNY it was a small nail NOT in the side of the tire as this Tire Kingdom advised. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you ask for your tire if they play this game on you. read more

Great service by people who know what they're doing. Their prices are fair and they do not haggle or upscale.

Each time I visit this location they are having computer issues. My first visit it took about 45 minutes to locate our company account and thier printer kept printing out paper after paper. The second trip was somewhat better but still 25 minutes to locate account and get me scheduled. Today, i went in with a new company vehicle that showed up in thier history under a rental company and the computer went into a processing screen that freaked the employee out. I left and will not return as they apparently do not know how to operate thier sytem without having issues. read more

The most important thing to point out is the honesty of the employees. Expecting to pay for a new tire, the associate surprised me and said the tire was intact and had a nail but not embedded. No charge. It is refreshing not have a store try to take advantage of the customer. I'll definitely go back when my car needs service. Beware!! Don't use this location! Matt who is the manager used to be great for years but the quality of the service has gone way down! Been taking my vehicles here for 15 years. Not sure what happened. As a small business owner, when my truck is in the shop, I don't make money. I scheduled them to install new motor mounts on my truck. Scheduled the appointment with Matt, the store manager. I purchased the parts myself from the dealership since they were unable to get them. I dropped my truck off on the scheduled date and time only to get a call four hours later informing me that they were unable to do the service because they didn't have the correct tools. This is the second time in the last year. That something like this has happened. The last time that I dropped my truck off for tires, they called me back to tell me that Matt forgot to order them. I asked if they could call around to other locations to see were I could take it and they told me that they were busy and I needed to do that. Waited on hold for 8 minutes to talk with someone but they left me on hold so I hung up. I called Mavis Discount Tires customer care line who now owns this location. The lady was nice but didn't do anything to help. They wasted my time and money again. Not worth the headache. Go elsewhere!! read more

Chose this tire Kingdom because my conversation with the sales person seemed to be professional and knowledgeable. Arrived for my schedule appointment on Sunday morning at 9 AM and they found no record of me in their system, no appointment, and the tires that were supposed to be ordered for my car were never ordered. Made excuse about receiving wrong tires. When what really happened was they never ordered the tires or made the appointment. Otherwise you would've at least expected a call to cancel the appointment and reschedule. I will never use this tire store again. read more

I cannot say enough bad things about this place. I will never go again. This is the second time I've regretted every moment of going there. The first time they sent me away with a puzzled, "I don't know" when my well taken care of car stalled next door to them. After my husband came and added dry gas, the problem was fixed. I took my BMW in today because of a sudden burning smell. The smell was so strong that it made me feel nauseated. Not only did they "not smell anything", they were extremely rude, condescending and dismissive. I will be taking my car to another shop tomorrow. I'd rather spend my money at a place who doesn't treat me like a 4 year old. They truly made it seem as if I was making up the problem I came in with. I called ahead to move my appointment and despite being a busy Saturday they managed to accommodate me. The staff here is great. Everyone is very friendly and transparent. While driving my car the battery light started flashing, my lights went out but I managed to get into the driveway where it died and would not start up. I had it towed to Tire Kingdom in East Lake. I was told by Adam who I found out later is the district mgr; that my car needed a new alternator. He quoted $579.39. He said I needed a new battery as well. Because money is tight I called around and found an alternator for almost 50% less than what he was going to charge me for his alternator. I called him back and asked if I provided the alternator what would labor be to install. He said that if I bought my own in, he would charge me $143.00 an hour for labor. He also stated that he would not guarantee the work. So I said I would have to think about it. I proceeded to call a competitor and asked if I bought my own alternator how much would they charge for labor. Several places quoted between $60.00 to $70.00. Then I called another Tire Kingdom. Get this, they quoted $66.67 to install even if I supplied my own alternator. Wait, it gets even better (or worse). When I told Adam I was having it towed to another repair shop, he responded sarcastically, that it was just fine with him, but when the tow truck driver arrived he demanded to know where he was taking my car. Soooo the tow truck driver told him, "up the street to another Tire Kingdom". Well don't you know, I got a call from the other Tire Kingdom, just as my car was arriving and they told me that Adam was their boss and he told them they couldn't work on my car..... Really! I was so upset, I had even called right before the tow driver had left and confirmed it was on it's way. Well after a very heated discussion, they called me back and agreed to do the job. Only they would use their alternator and charge the same price as the auto supply store. Not wanting to have to tow my car again I agreed. But wait, I get a call about ten to fifteen minutes later. "Your car is ready"... WHAT? It just got there! "Good news, you don't need an alternator." WHAT? Are you sure? I asked. "Yes we are sure,we tested it, and it is fine.". I'm guessing Adam didn't want them working on it because they would figure it out that he was ripping me off! Isn't that illegal ?...I will never use Eastlake Tire Kingdom again, I am sorry I have already spent thousands of dollars there. I wonder how many other times they repaired something that wasn't broke. read more

I've been here a lot of times for either small repairs(flat tire, oil change, etc) and they always try to do an up-sale on everything, every time it's something that they claim is major but isn't. I feel bad for all the seniors who use this so called "mechanic"/shop that are across the street from. How many up-sell transmission flushes/brake fluid flushes or to quote seinfeld "bad Johnson rods" have you guys suckered people into? Avoid like the plague. read more

RIpoff scam alert! Recently I purchased 2 new tires at Tire Kingdom on East Lake Road in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I had them fit the 2 rear tires for me. The sales guy was trying to tell me I needed an alignment also... there was no evidence that it needed one to me as the steering was perfect and the tires were wearing evenly. I declined and told the sales guy that I would get an alignment when I replaced the front tires. So, now the car goes in to get the 2 rear tires fitted only despite the hard sales pitch for expensive alignment. I get the car back and find that my steering is now very sloppy and pulling badly to the left. I also lost 2 $70 hub caps in the following week after the tires were fitted. Tell me how fitting 2 rear tires can lead to my steering getting messed up? My guess is they interfered with the tie rod ends or something to get me back for the expensive alignment. They covered them selves by stating on the receipt that they advised me that I needed an alignment before anything was done. The steering and wear patterns were perfect before they got their hands on it. I will never ever go here again .... I know enough about cars to know that all though I cant prove it....they probably turned some nuts a few turns on my steering gear or at very best were unbelievably incompetent to the point that they messed my steering while working on the back end of the car. read more

When going to the Dr. or getting you car worked on, trust is the most important thing. My wife and I were customers for over 8 years with both of our vehicles. Well we were going out of town and wanted to get the oil changed in her car before we left. Sounds like a simple task for Tire Kingdom, right? Well when I picked up the car, Mike the Manager, said that we had a transmission problem and it was not running correctly when my wife dropped the car. HE LOOKED ME IN THE EYES AND SAID HE WAS SURE OF IT. And then told me that they could not work on this kind (Mazda CX7) cars transmission and suggested me to go to a few different places. When I drove off it was bad, the automatic would only go into 3rd as to protect the engine. And I thought, no way she could drive the car this bad. So we take it to the place he suggested, and after $300 bill, we find out that there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Tire Kingdom forgot to screw in something very important for the car to run correctly. When going back in to get reimbursed, they denied lying, were uncaring, and after fighting for a while, said they would give us $79. Its been 4 months and have not received anything. read more

I priced out tires for my 2013 Accord at three nearby business and Tire Kingdom beat the other two by over $100.00. The man at the counter was courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the differences between each type of tire and assisted me with the rebate form. He did not criticize his competitors, just gave me a better price and promised to have four run flat tires balanced, mounted and installed within 60 minutes. The jib was done in 90 minutes because I added a four wheel alignment at the last minute. The job was done quickly and I am very happy with their service. We tend to use this place far more than the dealership when something is not under warrantee because they are extremely honest and definitely don't try to burn you on needless services. During our last visit, they actually recommended we go online to purchase the four tires we needed, so as to save quite a bit, since the store itself was not running any sort of specials. Thanks to them, we probably saved at least $150. There was also another incident in which we had to drop off the car for a few hours to diagnose and service, but were terribly worried that the car would not be ready in time to pick up our daughter from school. Much to our surprise, the employee we were working with (think his name is Mike), offered to lend us his personal vehicle to ensure we make it to her without delay. Despite not feeling comfortable enough to accept his generous offer, we truly appreciated the sentiment. Furthermore, a couple of times, we needed a tire patched and they did it for free, even though we didn't have road hazard protection. The store is open 7 days per week, with pretty long hours each day. We have lived in the area and been going here for the past 12 years, as have many of our neighbors, purely due to their long-lasting professionalism combined with their friendly attitude, and will continue to do so until we eventually relocate. read more

We absolutely HATE this place. The first time we went there the guy at the desk told my husband that if we didn't get a full synthetic oil change, it would void our factory warranty. $85 and 4 hours later he got home and I about lost my mind. That's a trick you pull on a lady. I be the was surprised it actually worked. It took 4 hrs because they didn't have a special part they needed. Whatever. Today we decided to try them one last time we had an appointment at noon for a regular oil change. It's 1:45 and my husband STILL isn't checked out yet. They nimrod at the desk told him "even though you have an appointment, people with appointments before you that have other issues will get taken care of first." Which is fine and dandy, but as a business manager if you're running behind then call patrons with upcoming appointments and let them know so they can either A) reschedule or B) take their business elsewhere. This isn't a doctors office, it's a tire/oil change place. We have lives and can't possibly be expected to sit there all dang day. We will never EVER use this place again. read more
