Misdiagnosis, Unauthorized Service, and Refusal to Adjust Bill !!!…read more I brought my vehicle in for a grinding noise that occurs when turning and gets louder under acceleration. Instead of diagnosing the actual issue, the shop told me the problem was the rear differential fluid. Rear differential fluid does not cause grinding during turns, and this service did not address the issue I came in for. I am the owner of the vehicle and did not authorize the repair. My boyfriend approved it without my consent, and when I explained this, the shop refused to adjust the bill or even mark the invoice as "paid under protest." I was charged $240 for a rear differential fluid service that normally costs $60- $90 and does not diagnose or fix the symptom I reported. After performing the incorrect service, the shop told me I still needed to go to Ford for a TSB diagnostic -- meaning they did not actually diagnose the problem. I am now out the money for this service, plus the cost of Ford's inspection, and still have the original grinding issue. I asked for a reasonable adjustment due to misdiagnosis and lack of authorization, and the owner/manager refused. This experience left me paying for a service that did not resolve anything and was not the correct procedure for the issue I brought the vehicle in for.

Richard was absolutely a lifesaver! I barely made it to his shop after getting two flat tires. I'm…read morenot from the area and I just got lucky enough to be passing his shop in an emergency situation. I had one tire with a nail in it, which he plugged right away, and one tire with a large chunk of metal that went through the tire, which shredded my tire completely. He worked closely with his tenant located in the same building, Onsite Tires New and Used, to help me get an almost brand new run flat tire at a bargain price. At first, we believed that I'd need a new sensor for the tire which was shredded. I was in his office ready to pay $90 for the new sensor when Richard ran in to stop the transaction. He is so honest that instead of taking advantage of me in my emergency situation, he came in to tell me that what we heard loose in the tire and thought was a broken sensor was actually the enormous piece of metal shredding my tire from the inside. And I did not need a new sensor. I was definitely impressed! Richard fixed me up with a new tire and a patched tire in literally 15 minutes and I was on my way. He and his staff were kind, professional, respectful, quick, and most of all truly possessed an unparalleled integrity. In fact, Richard was so amazing, I made the 45 minute trip all the way back to his shop the very next day to purchase the matching run flat tire, at the same exceptional price as the previous day. Richard and his staff are true assets in the auto repair industry and I highly recommend them!
