Granted it took about an hour and a half but it wasn't that bad and I really enjoy the employee explanation of what happens when the brakes go bad and what I need for my car to perform better!! Short version: The staff here got caught lying. The staff said that my rotors were worn beyond the safe point and my tie rod ends are worn out and need replacing....both of those items have less than 6,000 miles on them. Sometimes you'll have an actual certified mechanic (me) bring their vehicle (my vehicle) to you for things to be done with proper equipment such as road force balancing my wheels and a proper alignment. Machines I don't have the money for. I dropped off my vehicle for a scheduled road force wheel balance and alignment. Dropped off first thing in the morning. The staff called later in the day stating they cannot do the wheel balancing nor the alignment because some things in my suspension were worn out and need to be replaced.....I'm not sure what that has to do with preventing you from doing a road force balance but sure ok. I asked what was wrong with the suspension because I had just completed installing all brand new suspension parts such as: upper and lower control arms with ball joints, sway bar bushings, sway bar links, tie rods with tie rod ends, brake calipers, brake rotors, brake pads, Bilstein shocks....just to name a few. All done at one time. The staff here told me my tie rod ends needed to be replaced and are loose and boots leaking and other things were loose and needed to be "fixed"... Maybe I missed something cause I'm nowhere near perfect, so I brought it back home and double checked everything. Not a single thing loose nor missing. Tie rod end boots dry as a popcorn fart and tight as can be. So I took it to another place to double check to make sure I'm not going crazy and they confirmed that everything was still brand new looking and feeling and everything appeared to be installed properly (let's not forget I'm an actual mechanic). The staff at this location also told me that my brake rotors need to be replaced and are "beyond the 5mm unsafe wear"....not to sound like a broke record here but again, brand new....less than 6,000 miles on them. The staff stated they could do these repairs and I said nope, I'll take it back to the man who did the work and make him redo it (me). As I was picking it up, I asked what do I owe for this "diagnosis" and I was told absolutely nothing because they don't like to charge for work that they didn't do and want to build a reputation of taking care of people and their cars. They just want to make sure my vehicle gets properly taken care of while it's there and just want to be honest about anything they find. I was told to make sure I bring it back there when I get those things fixed and they'll make sure I'm taken care of and my vehicle gets the attention it needs.....barf. Some things can be seen right through like a clear window. I don't know what the staff here considers themselves but I'd venture to say that "mechanic" is a stretch. Some times you're going to have a customer come in there that actually does know what they're talking about....just make sure you're not lying to that person. This whole ordeal was a "make the customer feel good" campaign with only dollar signs in the sights and wrong expectations. I used to love this place. Now, it's honestly one of the worst and I'm not going back. Sad really. All I got from this visit was a waisted day without my vehicle and frustration. Zero help. **Edit: I had a system evaluate all of the responses from Tire Discounters in these reviews to determine whether or not it's just AI responding instead of the actual company. With 93% confidence it stated that all of the reviews were AI generated and was working from a well known template for AI customer service. I came in for tires and an alignment and was told I needed new tie rods. Being a mechanic, I took the car home and inspected it on my own lift--the tie rods were in great condition. When I went back and asked for proof of the wear, the technician refused to engage once he realized I had professional knowledge of the situation. I called ahead and requested a quote to have two tire mounted and balance. They quoted me $63.58. They were in the bed of the truck so they did not have to take them off the car. I dropped them off so they do the work at their leisure. When I came back to pick them up the up the price was $105. The manager said they miss quoted me the price, sorry. That was $40 more than I had planned on spending. The manager said he had to charge that price and the only retribution he offered was to take them back off the rims and I could go somewhere cheaper. I've been to this location throughout the years and it used to be great but now it is sub par. I got tires, a full fluid change, brake pads, rotors, the winter works around thanksgiving. Uncoordinated, understaffed, and I did not drive away with full confidence. I feel like I hear rattling now that was not there before. And I dropped my car off with them for 4 days and things were not done. I had to drive back and forth to them for the next week 3 different times for them to finally complete the job while I was making everything happen. I went there because it was convenient but I will not be going there anymore. Update 2 weeks after initial review ^: had not brought my car to any other car shop. Got the winter works and thought everything was settling in after they worked on it. Anytime after they worked on it, when I turned my wheel all the way to the left and backed up it made a loud crunching sound. I tried to get them to look at it on a Thursday and said they couldn't get to it until Monday so I finally took it to another shop because I was feeling a bit uneasy about the noise. In 24 hours they found an S hook bracket forgotten in my strut tower. Otherwise there was nothing wrong with my car. So I paid $124 to another shop to tell me Tire Discounters were not aware enough to take their tools out of my car. Absolutely ridiculous store. I wouldn't trust them to clean my windows. read more

Worked me in on a random Tuesday. Quick as possible service. Thorough service as well. Been visiting this location for 4-5 years now.

Went in to get 3 tires repaired, I had 2 tires that were going completely flat (only had 1 spare to put on it) so I aired up my tires and went to the nearest tire shop I could. I ended up needing to replace my 2 front tires and they said there was no issues in the back. Overall the customer service was good and I got my car back in a couple hours. However the reason I give TireDiscounters a 1 star review is because my very first time driving the car after repair I noticed my car significantly pulling to the right and the wheel shakes going over 55mph, this was not the case before I brought the car in. I assume they didn't balance or align my wheels after their repair. I'm not going to give anyone a 2+ star rating if they aren't going to do the job right). If you want something done right (and cheaper) and if it isn't out of necessity, go to Firestone or Ken Towery, they'll at least do the job right. read more

Ok all I can say is beware beware beware. I took my car up to fix a tpms sensor and had some road noise. I was told to bring it up and drop it off.and they would look at it. They fail to tell you its 90 to look at it so forget free inspection. Also told me to repair the road noise I would need to replace another part they would break. Umm I'm responsible and they said well yea we have a good chance of breaking it to change your bearing. Me: dont break it them: gonna need you to buy that part we aren't responsible for items broken while trying to fix your car. 350 later road noise is fixed but was told tpms is nothing wrong but.light was.still on. Me: I need that fixed. Them: yea it's supposed to stay on me: no it.wasnt on before them: trust us it's fine. I dont trust them at all. Bunch of RIP offs. read more

Had to wait 5 hours after I was told it would be 2 hours just to have a new tire mounted on one rim. Found out the manager did not tell his workers to work on it. I asked them and they knew nothing about it The manager wanted me at this point to come back on Monday. I eventually got the wheel and tire back and went somewhere else. The manager was a total smartass asking me personal questions and other questions that were none of his business. Wow a real eye opening experience to a bad business! read more

First let me say I am hard to please. Service manager James is a stellar example of knowledge regarding mechincal of the workings of a car and customer service. Don't waste your time. I've been a customer since this location opened their doors and the last few times I scheduled an appointment, I waited for about 2 hours for a standard oil change. The last time I was there, it took them about an hour to just take my vehicle back into the bay. While waiting I noticed that mine and other vehicles in the bays were often left unattended while the techs took smoke breaks. Also, I overheard more than one employee mention how much they dislike their jobs (which explains the poor customer service). And while waiting I learned that most of the customers were walk-ins and there vehicles were done before mine; which brings the question of why even bother scheduling an appointment if your not going to be treated as a priority. My appointment was scheduled for 5pm and I was the last customer taken care of.... Yes, they finished my vehicle right before they closed. What really bothers me was that there was another customer (walk-in) who came in at the same time as me and the employee at the desk apologized to her for the long wait and gave her service free of charge. While I scheduled an appointment and was done after her... I paid FULL PRICE. Never again.... I will take my business elsewhere. read more

They are obviously not happy in their work and they don't get the job done right the first time. There is no urgency in helping customers. Absolutely some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. On two different occasions I called ahead to see if there was a wait, and both times was assured there wasn't, only to arrive and be told very rudely that it'd be "at least two hours" for an oil change. I cannot understand how a business can continue with such abhorrent people working the desk, namely 'David'. I will drive an extra 15-20 mins from now on to a different Tire Discounters, just to not have to talk to these rude,people anymore. Update 6/25/19: Here again to have a tire replaced on their Road Hazard warranty. I made an appointment yesterday for 3pm today .... it is currently 5:35 and my car is still being worked on. I am only here for one tire to be replaced, and the rest rotated. The 'manager' was very argumentative with me, and felt it necessary to school me on what an appointment actually means, and that he is short staffed (which I had already heard him tell an elderly lady that had been waiting over an hour and a half for an oil change).
