On March 2, 2024 had my car breakdown (overheated engine) just outside Shepherdsville, KY. on Rt. 65. Towing company recommended that I take the vehicle to Superior Auto Center. So glad I did!! Sam (owner) without an appointment took my car in right away for service. He had Scott his service tech diagnose the problem and after my approval begin the repair. The repair was high quality and at a fair price. I worked in Field Service my whole career so I know a good value when I see it. What great service!! I was moving my daughter from Florida to northern Indiana and was driving her Yukon and all the sudden I break down!! Which is your worst fear when on the road the first mechanic I went to made me wait over an hour for him to really not look at my truck or care what was wrong told me he would get to it in two or three days I was like that's not going to work. So I decided to go to a near bye town and found Superior Auto Repair he was like where's it at had it towed for me and said I got three hours left in the day let me see if I can get it done for you today I was actually shocked he gave me a quote and did it for that price and I was back on the road again unbelievable service and nicest people you could find I am definitely grateful for them! Traveling cross country in a van. I'm stayed at Shepherdsville then all of a sudden my brake warning light flashes in my dash. My brakes were very soft. I checked the hood and my brake fluid was empty so I checked all the shops around town and most of them have some really bad reviews but Superior has only one review and it was a positive one same traveling person who happens to be passing through. So I went went to that shop for that review and I was happy with the service. Sam and Gary where the best to talk with and the cost was on the spot when I research what it would cost to fix. Sam and Gary at Superior Auto Service were a Godsend when I accidentally ran over a huge piece of tire rubber while traveling from Michigan to Alabama yesterday. After hitting the rubber, my car started running hot so I pulled over at the first exit which happened to be Shepherdsville, KY. I looked up auto repair places on my smartphone and found them less than a quarter mile from where I had stopped. I called and they said that if I could get it there they could take a look at it. I was able to make it to the garage and they went to work diagnosing the damage. They showed me what the problems were then Sam fixed the damage to my radiator support and hose and oil filter without trying to sell me a new radiator or anything that I didn't need. Three hours and $194 later I was back on the road home. So grateful that they didn't try to take advantage of the situation I was in. Thanks again, Sam & Gary! read more
