I called on Saturday and got great service. I had after market valve stem caps on my Rav 4 and they corroded and I could not get them off. Chad took the car in and they were able to remove the caps without breaking the valve stem and the TPMS tire pressure sensors. I asked them to do 1 as the tire was very low in air. They did it and it didn't break and he called me and asked if I wanted him to keep going till 1 either broke, or he got them all off without breaking. Very Blessed that none of them broke!! They got them all without breaking any of them. They could have told me they broke them and charged the crap out of me, but they didn't. They were honest and didn't charge me anything. read more

She had it priced in her hometown for around $700 or more if and when they could get the part. I went to the TD in Hebron to get an estimate. Well, what to say about poor service. I'll lay out the scenario and let you decide if this was how a customer centric company should treat anyone, much less a loyal 20+ year customer who had not bought a tire from anyone else in 20 years. I had tires replaced when they said that the Explorer needed new struts, sway bar links, and tie rod ends. I had asked if they could diagnose a "popping" noise in the front suspension and those were the parts they said it needed. I do most of the maintenance on my vehicles myself, so I opted to replace these parts myself before I had it aligned. Alignments are "free" with the purchase of 4 tires here at Tire Discounters. I returned a couple days later to have the alignment done. I walked in at 9:20am, they checked me in at perhaps 5 minutes, then they pulled the car in. Their mechanic diagnosed that the inner tie rods were loose and then took time to bring the service advisor up-to-speed. Their advisor found me and said the vehicle was not safe to have on the road and that they estimated that it would take ~2.5 hours to repair @ approximately $420. The alternative option was for them to pull it out and send me on my way in an unsafe vehicle. I asked if their estimate was right as I knew this was a quick thing to repair and pointed out that this was a 15-20 minute repair, but his response was "my industry accepted software says so"... Anyway, I reluctantly agreed to "the estimate" and he had his mechanic repair. The mechanic finished at approximately 10:45am , I argued my point that the "estimate" was for 2.5 hours of labor to fix the loose tie-rods was 2.5 hours and, and I would be leaving the building in approximately 1.5 hours. That 1.5 hours included check in, diagnostics, repair of the tie rods(turning the tie rod ends righty tighty style), then performing the four-wheel alignment. 5 minutes of arguing with their advisor about paying for an estimate versus paying for services performed. 3 days later I finally got a call from their regional manager who held no more of a customer centric view than the advisor. Long story short I paid $420 for approximately 20 minutes of tie rod tightening. I'll let you decide if it was an ethical transaction. BTW-that equates to $1260/hr for labor & they claim that they charge ~$180 an hour I believe. Never would I have approved of a repair at that rate. read more

I scheduled my appointment for the drop off/pickup option. While the drop off was fine, the pickup was not marked on my record. Additionally, it required our van to be kept overnight again which seems to be happening more often with our appointments. A tire rotation, oil change and changing spark plugs should not take that long when the van was dropped off at 8:40 AM ET. This is in addition to past issues where a gasket was not installed properly on a prior oil change and led to oil leaking on my driveway and a return trip to fix. I have stopped at this store on a couple of occasions. They are always very, very busy. However, busy or not they are consistently so nice. This particular time was no different. The lot is full, the employees working hard and rushing to help customers. I watched as they answered each persons questions in great detail to help the customer make decisions. There was never any sales pressure just good information and great listening. One more note, the lobby area makes a nice space to work while you wait, free wifi and a decent workspace. This just helps makes life easier. I recommend this store. read more

Standard oil change and ended up cracking the oil filter housing. Took the car back after the car was nearly out of oil and was told that was a common problem with the car. So replacing the oil filter and over tightening the filter could not have been a contributing factor to the $1,700 repair to replace the part that was a non-issue before is not plausible...condescending "used car salesman" working the front. I called Hebron Tire Discounter and asked before I scheduled an appointment if they could check a service light that came on in my car. " Service tire monitor system". The man said absolutely that it was probably a battery for the sensors in the tires. I also needed an oil change and my tires rotated. I made the appointment for the following week. In that time, another light came on to let me know that one of my tires was low in air. Since my appointment was in 2 days, I waited for them to take care of it. I dropped off my car the night before. I verified what was going to be done. The next day I got a phone call saying I need 4 new tires and shocks and struts. We declined for time being. They said they would do the oil change and call me when it was ready. When I got off the phone, I told my husband, I wish they would have mentioned the service tire monitor system and how much that was going to cost. 20 minutes later I received a phone call saying my car is ready to be picked up. I said "What about the sensor light?" He said "there was nothing on the paper about that so it must be fine." I said "no. It's not fine! That is the main reason I brought it in! Did anyone even look at it?" He asked if he could put me on a brief hold and came back about 8 minutes later. He went to find a manager. He said "he couldn't find a manager so he checked the batteries himself. He said 3 of them needed batteries and quoted me a price and said they could take care of that for me today if I wanted them to." REALLY? So my car is ready and they didn't even check the main thing I scheduled the appointment for!! I declined. Told him I would be up shortly to pick up my car. The kicker is that when I picked up my car, I got in, turned it on, then my light came on that says Tire Pressure Low in the same tire as it did before!!! Did they even rotate my tires??? My husband had to put air in my tire because it was at 28. The others were 34. That is pretty sad when you just come home from getting your tires rotated and on the receipt it says...CHECK & SET TIRE PRESSURE TO PROPER PSI PER OEM SPECIFICATIONS. I have had trouble with this location before but thought I would give them a try again because they are so convenient. Never again!!!! read more

I just stopped in to ask if they would check on my tire air because a light came up on the dash saying "low tire pressure" but it doesn't designate which tire. A guy going into the office, I think was the manager, called out "be right with you!" But then a worker in the bay I pulled up to started yelling at me "Well which tire is it?!" and some other things in a very condescending tone. Sorry, but that's not my kind of customer service and really unprofessional. I just drove away. I'll pay a few dollars at the Kroger gas station to check the air myself and find somewhere else for service. read more

After driving for about 5,000+ miles from California, we had to stop and get our tires rotated. They took us in right away without an appointment- had us in and out within 30 minutes. Took my car in to get 4 new tires installed. 2 days later a sensor goes bad. Take it back in to have new sensors put in they charge me $10 a tire. They don't recalibrate the sensor's so I have to take it back in. While it was then for the sensor replacement they were supposed to do a coolant flush and refill charged me a $100 didn't even perform the service. So now I have to take it back in for a 3rd time for them to finish what they started. Very unorganized and unprofessional establishment I absolutely do not recommend you get any services from them and if you do, double check their work. read more

It's been 33 days since this store installed the wrong oil filter on my vehicle and caused the engine to lock up. They charged me $975 to do this great service. They refuse to refund my money. Their insurance company cancelled my rental car. I am still waiting for s check from the insurance company as well. These people are not what they advertise themselves to be. I came in an hour before close to get new tires and an alignment. The manager was very understanding about my late arrival and didn't make me feel anything but welcome in the store. As I waited for my car to be completed, I watched as the store got busier and busier just before close. The manager and technicians never got impatient with anyone and handled every situation patiently and efficiently. They got me out of there in an hour, even though they had no notice of my coming in. I really appreciated how friendly the manager, Bill Raelly, was. He even gave me the WiFi password so that I could work on homework while I waited. Not to mention, snacks and drinks are available with a play area for kids and a TV with a very clean and comfortable lobby. The associates here are great I will definitely return. read more

Highly disappointed today. My husband made an appointment to put on 4 new tires (pretty expensive as well). This appointment was made last week. The appointment was for 8am and our car sat in the bay for 2 hours with no work done! After he asked if our car would be taken care of in the NEXT 1.5 hours, he was told there was no way it would be. Tell me...what is the point of making an appointment to have it completely disregarded for HOURS! Short staffed or not, many companies are short staffed but they get work done. After talking to them about their mistake, they didn't want to replace but tried to sell me another set at a discounted price. Hell no! In my latest experience here at the shop in Hebron, the personnel took complete responsibility for errant work done on my car and fixed the problem at no charge to me. I can't say enough good things about this location. I needed two tires replaced, so I called earlier in the day and asked if they could accommodate me. I spoke with the location managers, who said they could get me in. I arrived after work and saw they were having an extremely busy day, I offered to come back another day, but they insisted they could get it done. The staff ended up staying late, not only to take care of me but other customers as well. I truly appreciate their dedication to take care of the customers, when they probably would have rather been at home with their families. Went to get a tire alignment because my steering wheel was a little to the left and they said that the problem was fixed, The steering wheel is straight. But when I picked it up after they closed I was driving home and I noticed the steering wheel was just the same amount off except it was to the right. It doesn't take much thought to notice that it's not even close to being straight, I don't know what kind of idiots they have working there but I know I will not be going back. read more

We recently got a Tire Discounters in Hebron and were excited to have one 2 miles from our home. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for my car one evening and my husbands car the next morning. I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and there were 3 other people waiting for their cars. An hour and half later, my oil change was done with only a small apology for it taking so long. They didn't tell me how my tires looked or my brake pads, I had to ask. I also happened to notice the tire pressures they recorded for the tires and they were wrong! They had switched them up and put 32 in the front and 35 in the back and it was supposed to be the other way around. On top of that, they didn't reset my check-engine switch which comes on when I am due for an oil change. I had to go out in the cold and drive it around to their docking area for the guy to fix the tire pressure. He said he could also fix the check-engine light and after messing with it for awhile, asked another guy how to reset it. In messing with my car, he reset my gas information which tells me how many miles I have gone and my overall gas mileage. So now, I had no idea how many miles I could push my car until empty. Did I get any apologies? NO! I told my husband what happened and why I was so late getting home to start dinner. He told them the next morning what happened before giving them the keys,. They made some excuses about the store being new and the guys working there are really from another store that is being renovated. In other words, this wasn't their place so they didn't care. Anyway, his vehicle took an hour for the oil change and they didn't bother to tell him anything either. Needless to say, I will drive the extra 20 minutes and pay the extra $10 or more to get it done at the dealership who does it right everytime and cares about it customers. No refund, apology or anything. They had 2 chances to do the job right and they blew both. If you are thinking of trying this place out, wait until the PERMANENT employees are set up. They may care a bit more about keeping business. read more

I was at Tire Discounters in Hebron to get my brakes changed and 2 new tires. I was told it would take a couple of hours and that turned into 5 hours. They told me my car would make some noise for a couple of days until the rotors settled. My rear tires sounded as though they would fall off and that concerned me so I took my car to the dealership. Come to find out my calipers (none of the 4) were not tightened at all. Thankfully the dealership took a video of the loose rotors. The bolts in the calipers were not even finger tight. I don't recommend trusting that they will complete the job. I will be taking my car to the dealership where they care that my car is repaired correctly and care about me as a customer! read more
