I have been going to TD for many years, and along the way I have dealt with really great guys!! I completely trust them and never worry that I'm being lied to about work my cars need. I had my first experience at this location and I am even happier!! My tire had a flat and I initially took it to Toyota, Toyota said the tire couldn't be patched and would have to order a new one. I have a 2020 corolla, so it's brand new. Nothing covered which I understand, s**t happens. Looked up the tire, they don't carry it in stock. Okay. So they tell me how much one tire that's a crappier version of mine will cost, but it'll take 5 days to get here. $240!!!! I was shocked. For the cheapest tire for my car to be that much was a little nuts to me. I totally understand "you get what you pay for" but this was the crappiest tire out there. Not even what I have on my car. So I tell them I'll price around. Called Walmart, waited on the phone for 25 minutes, while I was on hold I called tire discounters, they can order the tire have it there in less that 3 days and can install it for $114 total. Hung up and just out of curiosity switched back to the Walmart call and someone finally picked up at 36 minutes and 14 seconds. Lol. So I told them they were terrible at answering phones and hung up. Took my car in the guy at the counter, Jeremy I believe, was awesome. He let me leave my car overnight, he was very nice and really came through for me. So, way to go Jeremy. You were awesome. Service was efficient, effective and considerate. Service team appears to be highly motivated. I went in thinking I needed new rims, but they banged out my dented lip and balanced my tires free of charge. Would absolutely recommend and possibly go again, even though they are significantly out of my area (Jessamine county). read more

Very unhappy with the service that I received from the US 42 store in Florence Ky. We purchased four new tires for my van. Got a nail stuck in my tire took it up to the store they stated they took the nail out patch the hole and put air in it. Kept losing air in the tire took it back to the store they stated I had a nail in the tired and had no record of my previous visit and now there was damage to the tire. Stated I now needed a new tire. Called corporate they said they'd have a regional manager call us. No call. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I've previously felt very comfortable at TD in other locations, but I feel like there was some fast talk and taking advantage of my situation here (woman traveling alone some distance from home). I'm not sure they would have given my brother or dad the same advice they gave me. When I tried to contact my brother for his input, the attendant backpedaled a bit. When I did get in touch with my brother, he told me (in cruder language) that I was being taken advantage of. I would not go back here without my dad or brother. A few weeks ago, I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. While I was there, a technician named Garth relayed to me there was another issue that needed addressed/repaired so I called my husband and had him speak with him. He stated all the lugnuts were bad from heat expansion, needed replaced for $100, and that it took them 45 minutes to get just 1 lugnut off. My husband told him he didnt think that was that big of problem and wouldn't want to take care of it at the moment, Garth said he would be pulling my car out of the garage then after putting the single lugnut back on. I'm glad we did this because we took it to Bob Sumeral to do the same oil change and tire rotation and they never mentioned anything about the lugnuts. At pickup when asked about the same issue, they said there was no such problem and they had the car done within an hour. So to Garth and the rest of the staff over here, not all women are such easy targets for their bogus upsell. Not only will I not be back with my car, my husband will not be back with him business vehicles, and they have given Bob Sumeral some new regular customers! read more

One of the worse customer service experience I have ever had. Chris McIntyre is the worse manager I have ever dealt with in my life. Had a simple tire repair job and all he wanted to do was make money and sell me a tire I didnt need. When i called him on it I was told to leave his "Fucking store" at this time my car was still up on the rack without a rim or tire. When i told him I wasnt leaving untill it was fixed he threaten to call the police. I have had good experiences at other locations but will never give another penny to this company read more

Went back a 3rd time. Full alignment done, instead of just toe-in. Still did not feel stable on highway, but decided to drive it a while. It got worse, with steering wheel cocked to left and pulling to right. Went back 4th time. Alignment done 4th time. Per tech the cam bolt in lower a-arm had loosened. Driving home I could tell the difference, feeling much more stable. Have to say they were always polite and willing to do whatever it took to correct the problem. But 4 times to get it right?! read more

When you're busting out of town for a gal's trip and your tire blows, you're pretty deflated to say the least. Thank the lord for perfectly placing tire discounters, less than a mile from the scene of the pop. Three cheers for the KY18 Tire Discounter Team! To say they provided excellent customer service just wouldn't suffice. They basically allowed us to move in to their showroom. The building was so clean we had no qualms placing all of our luggage and our derrieres on the floor to engage in a game of Uno. If I could recommend one thing to management, it would be to allow your front of the house staff to engage in the aforementioned game of Uno when invited (if they're not busy with other clients). Ample spirits, candy and chips were provided and even sent with us as we went on our way. As active individuals, we greatly appreciated the baked variety of lays over the full-fledged oil variety. Truly, the team at KY18 Tire Discounters made a seemingly unpleasant situation not only pleasant but one of the more memorable parts of our journey. Came in without an appointment and Chris McIntyre advised me up-front it would take a while to have my car serviced. It was great knowing the timeframe up front. He didn't push me to make an appointment for another time, left the decision strictly up to me. I was glad I stayed and as usual they exceeded my expectations. Great job to you and your team Chris! I took my car in for a horrible noise from the left rear tire. I let them know i hoped they could check it out and i had a 200 mile drive home. they called back 4 hours later saying it was ready. they claimed it was bushing rubbing but was safe to drive home the 200 miles. the manager and tech both told me it was safe. 20 miles later the tire fell off as i as driving 65 mph down the highway causing $2,000 damage. I went back to them and they had videotapes of the service area showing they never put the car up on the lift until i was picking it up and asked what they found. And claimed they didn't do anything to make the tire fall off because the tapes showed they "never touched the tire." I told them that was the problem, if they had simply checked the lugnuts nothing would have happened later. After this it took 3 months of calls and a threatened lawsuit to get them to admit any fault on their part. They did end up paying some but less than 1/2. and never admitted they should have done a better job looking at the car. i will obviouusly never go there again read more

This was the worst experience ever. I dropped off my car for an engine knock, and they told me it was valve cover gaskets. Two days and over 400 later, they finally finished the repairs. One week later, it threw a rod! Any good mechanic could have seen this coming. The HONEST thing would have been to tell me the engine was shot, as opposed to working on a car that they knew would die soon. Terrible! read more

Appointments mean nothing here. This is the second time that I have had to leave 2 hours after my appointment time to have my tires rotated with nothing being done so that I can get to work. I purchased my tires here for the lifetime tire rotation and balancing, I see that was a mistake. read more

Well they did the service OK. Put on new tires and totally ruined paint job on painted Nissan 350z rims. Cars rims were chipping a little. Mounting machine really did a number on them. They agreed to pay for half the cost of repair. Hard for me to hold it over them. The rims weren't perfect. They were honest and listened to my issue as well as give me a quick tour on tire mounting. Manager was a great guy honestly. Initially I was pissed. The employees there turned me around. I'd go back again for an auto issue. read more

Had issue with tires loosing air pressure. Went in thinking TPS system had issue. They found the rims were dirty and starting to corrode. Polished inside of rims remounted and balanced tires. Always get good service at tire Discounters. read more

It has been an unbelievably terrible experience with this location the last two times I have tried to drop my vehicle off. The first time was in November of 2016 for an oil change. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning around 8AM and told them they could have it until 5PM. When I arrived to pick up my truck at a little after 5, I noticed upon pulling up that it didn't look like my vehicle had moved. I walked in and told them which vehicle I was there to pick up and they informed me nothing had been done to it. 9 hours my truck was there and they couldn't change the oil in that time? I was furious. I asked for my keys and told them I would never be back. The female there explained that I could drop it off the next day and they assured me it would be done. You just had it all day, you missed your chance. I declined and left. As I pulled down the street I was already on the phone with customer service explaining what had happened. They apologized and I hung up. To my surprise the very next day a customer service representative called me back and I again explained what had happened. He apologized greatly, said all of the right things, and even sent me a coupon to get a free oil change. I let him know I'd give them another shot in the future. He was great and did all he could to earn my business back. Kudos to Emmanuel. Today I email the rep and ask him if I can still use the free oil change coupon that he emailed me. He informed me I could and there should be no problem using it. I walk in the store at 1:15PM and they ask me how they can help and I let the gentleman know that I needed an oil change. He asked if he could have the vehicle for 'a good long time'. I informed him I would need the vehicle back by 5PM today. He said sorry I can't guarantee that we can have that done by then. I held up my hands, turned around, and walked out. Can't change my oil in 4 hours? Sure am glad I didn't need tires or a major repair. They would have had my vehicle for months, maybe years! What a joke! Completely ridiculous. I really liked Tire Discounters and used to bring my vehicles (2 trucks and a car) there for all vehicle repairs and maintenance. After these two experiences, I'll never give them another penny. If they're the last place on earth to fix vehicles, I'll take the bus or walk. You guys have completely failed. read more

I have been to this tire discounters before with great results but there standards are really declining lately. I understand they are busy especially seeing has how I was there on a Friday morning. Started off with the guy at the counter barely will even talk to you, looks like hes mad all the time. I was telling him some of the stuff I wanted them to check out on car the dude hits the print button before I even finished telling him everything thing and asked me to sign it. I felt very rushed, like I was inconveniencing them, they need to remember no customers no jobs. So I brought my car in there to get the rear diff. fluid changed, transmission fluid changed and filter, a new tire since my 1 had a screw in it, and I wanted the timing chain replaced. They called me on the phone and told me they needed a bolt that they could not get till Monday that holds the break caliper on. I said ok is there anything else you can do until then. Guy on the phone says NO, for which I am assuming they already did everything else we sat on the phone for a 30 sec ac-ward moment and I said well if there is nothing else you can do then park it out in the lot and I will look around for a bolt for you.( HUGE MISUNDERSTANDING ) when I pulled up in the lot at 2 pm and asked them how much I owe he said nothing we did not do anything, my jaw drop to the ground I pulled up in there at 9 am with it you mean to tell me they just looked at one problem and stop all other progress because of a break caliber bolt. So in the long run tire discounters you lost the sale of a new tire and mount to Walmart right after I left your place. You lost your sale on replacing the rear differential because the guy said he will not change the rear differential with out changing the transmission, because he said the transmission was slipping ( to this day it is still not slipping they are nuts ). You lost the sale of a timing chain replacement to pep boys. And you lost a alignment sale to pep boys as well because your crew at this store does not know how to slow down and listen to there customers, and stop rushing us out the door. Everyone is in such a big hurry to get nowhere. read more
