IF YOU HAVE TO HAVE WORK DONE TO YOUR VEHICLE GO ANYWHERE BUT THIS LOCATION. I came to this location on Friday to have a simple tire repair. They said they did it and come to find out they charged me and didn't even pull the nail out of the tire and plug it. The only reason I noticed it is because their were greasy hand prints on my front passanger rim. So I checked the rear driver tire where the nail was and guess what? it was still in the tire in the exact same location. So I went and spoke with a manager and even showed him where the nail was still in the tire. He said he could fix it for me, and I told him I wanted a refund, and it should have been done the first time. That I was going to take it somewhere else. He said he understood that Dave would have to give me the refund. Dave then got an attitude with me saying I had to have gotten another nail in my tire that it happens all the time. I then stated really in the exact same spot. He said yes that he could show me where it was plugged, and he wasn't giving me a refund. So I told him that's fine show me where it was plugged. he then refused to show me where it was plugged or give me a refund. SO JUST A HEADS UP IF YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR CAR TO THIS LOCATION CHECK THEIR WORK. read more

THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR THEIR MISHANDLING OF WHEELS/TIRES. We brought wheels in to have tires mounted and the wheels were returned damaged. There was a circular etching on the two front wheels. The etching is deep and is in the exact same spots on both front wheels (not the result of curbing or whatever else they may write it off as). Even though we have photos of the wheels from hours before they received them which show no etching, and we called them within 30 minutes of receiving the car, they refused to take responsibility for their actions. We have 7 cars! We have bought tires and/or wheels for all of them from the store. No more - will not go back. read more

Fuller street Florence ky Absolutely horrible, caught manager in several lies, refuses to give me any contact info go anyone above her, my son was standing in the store while I was on hold and overheard her tell another employee that she wasn't giving me any info and then got on the phone to continue to lie to me They wanted $500 to repair something that was brand new 2 days ago and I went back today without touching said part only be told it now needs something completely different and no mention of original part and when I called them out on it her replay was well today's mechanic is not as good as the one that looked at it Monday and he must have missed it (Go somewhere that won't lie and try to rip you off) save your time and money read more

For the tire discounters for an oil change entire rotation got my car back two tires were low I went back over there they fixed both tires the tires have not been the same sincese I had to buy a valve stems replaced I had a rebated this was my fourth trip over there they said they give me a ride back to work I live at work literally a half a mile from there and they could not I was there 28 minutes too call to Uber with no response and I left with my car and the tire still flat read more

hi, i am a loyal customer and i have been purchasing my tires at the harrison ohio tire discounters store for many years. i have always enjoyed quality workmanship there and the employees have gone out of their way to provide excellent customer service. this past saturday that longstanding reputation went into the toilet. my bmw x3 had a very low front passenger tire so i took it to tire discounters because that is where i bought the tires and that is where i always go for my tire work. i dropped it off and was told that it should be covered for free repair unless there was something out of the ordinary. i asked that they go ahead and rotate the tires while the vehicle was there as well. later that afternoon i received a call from tire discounters and was informed that the tire had a screw in it and that the screw was on the edge of the tread next to the outer wall so it could not be repaired. so, i said, "okay, let's put a new tire on it." i was then informed that per bmw rules they could not replace just one tire on my vehicle because, (now get this) the tires on my vehicle had a tread depth of 6/32" (3/16" to people that understand the concept of the lowest common denominator) and a new tire would have a tread depth of 10/32" which would mean that the tires would not be on the same level. they would be 4/32" different (that's 1/8" to anyone with a high school education) and bmw would not allow tire discounters to mount tires on the same axle of their vehicles with a difference of 4/32" or it would shear the gears off inside the transaxle while driving down the road. but wait, there's more! in addition, because my bmw suv is all wheel drive, i would be required to replace all four tires. did i mention that my vehicle is an suv? that stands for sport utility vehicle: a vehicle designed to go offroad and handle uneven and rough terrain. i guess that only includes uneven and rough terrain that is under 1/8" difference in tire-to-tire level. if you're not laughing at the idiot you hired to manage your store by now, you need to know i'm not either. i had to go pick up my vehicle and take it somewhere else. i paid $35 to patch the tire (the screw was not on the edge as your manager described. it was on the inside of the first tread line moving toward the center of the tire. there was no issue with getting it patched and i have been driving it for three days with no issues. not only did your store not repair my tire for free as they should have, but they also did not rotate my tires either. i had to go through a huge hassle and added expense all because this manager is clearly trying to pad his sales numbers by taking advantage of people. i buy top of the line micheline tires for my vehicles in most cases and i used to buy them from you. but now i can't trust anything tire discounters says so i can't go back to tire discounters anymore. that means i can't get my tires rotated or balanced or fixed as part of my purchase contract for any of the cars i bought tires for there (which is all of them). now i won't be buying my tires from you anymore. none of my four kids or seven grandkids will be buying tires from you either. and none of the members of my church will be buying tires from you anymore either. oh, and i happen to work for a company in cincinnati that has 30,000 local employees. we have a little thing called a bulletin board where we share reviews, and i will be posting this letter on that bulletin board. i am taking the approach here that, as a corporation, tire discounters does not encourage these types of shady sales tactics, or do you? is this just a rogue manager looking for that elusive employee of the week certificate or are you instructing your mangers to use these kinds os sales tactics? one thing is for sure in this case, whether it's corporate or just a rogue manager it's going to cost you a lot more than the $35 i had pay elsewhere. you may want to get your manager in line. he is ruining the reputation of what used to be a great store. robert holland read more

I foolishly put windshield wipers fluid in the antifreeze reserve. I ran into Tire discounters and explain my mistake to Brian. Honestly speed isn't the strongest suit for this location. I arrived at 11:45am with a flat tire, Went ahead and purchased the other back tire. This was a fleet vehicle so Enterprise was messing with the approval but I ensured them it will be paid for regardless of Enterprise so they can get it done. Never the less, it's approaching 4 hours(3:45pm) and my truck is still lifted being worked on. Just for TWO BACK TIRES. I didn't choose to have my flat tire brought here but i guess next time I do I will bring my pillow and blanket. It's going to be A WHILE FOLKS. There was also a tech(plain street clothes) working on my truck. He stopped to air the tire of a car that pulled up behind my truck in the bay while mine was still on the rack without tires. I made an appointment to have a set of new tires installed on my vehicle. When I got there, the truck had not arrived but was due in 30 to 40 min so I asked that they maybe start with an oil change. Said it was not a problem. I walked thru a few nearby stores for a couple of hours. When I called the clerk said the "alignment was tight and everything looked good and the car should be good to go in about 20 minutes". When i got back to the store the manager informed me that they could not get the oil filter off and the car had been sitting for the past 2 hours waiting on me to call. The tires were never installed. The alignment was never checked. Absolutely not impressed with this outfit! Zero stars if it were an option. Buddy was the manager and Fred was the clerk. read more

Very poor customer service. Had an issue with my tires being undriveable after 9000 miles. Took 3 months to get into contact with someone above the store manager who was affiliated with that particular store. District manager was aggressive, hostile, and in no way would listen to anything I said. I was a long time customer bought multiple sets of tires all oil changes and heavy services on multiple cars. Will never return and will advise everyone I know and anyone who asks for a good place for service to do the same. read more

Very disappointing experience. I walked in and ask to drop off my car so they can fix the tire. They said they will only have an opening in 3 days. My husband called 5 minutes later with the same issue and they told him to wait right it. He recorded that conversation and we brought it to the attention of the corporate but nothing was done. Needed someone to look at a tire that I bought from this store. It constantly looses air when it is cold. I explained to the person on the phone that it is reaching dangerous levels, impacting how my truck drives and brakes. I have to fill it up everyday. This should be warranty work because i just bought the tires a couple years ago. They were unable to fit me into their schedule based on my availability. I cannot keep driving like this or I will likely cause an accident. I can also not keep filling the tire every morning. The guys I spoke with was very inflexible. Called another tire store and they were willing to work with my time constraints and get me in. read more

First and foremost their manager Ray, needs to be trained in customer care severely. He is extremly rude and a complete sore on this company. So let me tell my story. Mind you, I can't even get the damn manager to so much as call me as I requested. My car was taken to the newport location by a body shop after a car accident. Afterwards, I was told my axle was bad by another car repair shop, but the axle was under warranty at tire discounters. I took it to the tire discounters location in Fairfield because that was what was close at the time. I needed the repair fairly quickly because I had a family death and needed to be out of town. Ray called regarding this issue. When I told him about my concern and dilemma he told me that my loss of my car and family death was my problem and he didn't care. Immediately I told him that first, it was rude to be so careless and second, it was their failure as to why I was in the situation. I asked to have my car back asap. They squeezed me in. When I got my car back, they told me they replaced the axle just in case but that my car was still making the same sound that originally concerned me to get it inspected. They also said my rack and pinion was "loose". I was advised by several other mechanics to get another opinion on this. But nonetheless, the car was unfixed. I gave up on trying to figure out the problem for a little while because I was exhausted with trying mentally after dealing with their disresptful manager Ray. I took it back to the original shop who said it needed an axle and they suggested it was the sway bar links and to take it to the dealer for another opinion regarding the rack and pinion that they believed was fine. Took it to the dealer. Had to pay a fee. They said the rack and pinion was fine also but they sway bar links needed repaired. This was also under warranty at tire discounters. Since Ray sucked so much the last time, I tried my luck at another location. The manager Nick was nothing short of amazing and kind. They looked over my car and agreed it was their issue to fix. So through all of this, I had to get a rental car and pay for inspections after their inspection only to find they missed shit. I asked to be reimbursed and Ray relayed a message through someone else that they weren't willing to make up for this, not even an apology was given. When I asked for him to call me personally, I was refused a call back. Ray is a joke. But if you want someone that cares about customer care and support, go the the Feguson location and ask for Nick, because I don't know who pissed in Ray's cheerios. read more

I came into the store last week and spoke to Buddy who was very friendly. He informed me that as a courtesy when I dropped off my car for service someone, a mechanic, may be able to take me to work since it is right down the street. I thanked him for the information, he gave me his card, and the next day I called to make an appointment for Monday December 30th for a brake inspection [I suspect a caliber needs replaced]. He asked what time I would drop off the car and when I needed to be at work, I responded that I needed to be at work at 7:30am and I would drop the car off between 7-7:20am. Well here we are today (December 30th) I was in the parking lot at 7am and the door was locked, I saw no key drop so I couldnt even drop off the keys and walk to work. I started to see people walking inside around 7:20, so I walked up to the door and knocked. I made eye contact with a mechanic and even waved to him, all three of them standing there could see me, knew I was there are didnt even come to the door! It was 40 degrees with 20mph winds and they couldnt even bother to open the door to talk to me. I stood there for 5 minutes while they went about their day. It got to be 7:30am and the mechanics clearly werent going to help in anyway, so I called and was informed that Buddy wouldnt be in til the 2nd. Stephan said that they dont open until 8am, I dont know where the communication breakdown was but I called and made an appointment to drop off my car at 7:30am. It didnt even need to be looked at right away! I was going to leave it there all day and pick it up after 4:30pm (all told to Buddy during the phone call). I dont know if Buddy didnt tell them, if he didnt understand me, all I know is that one of the mechanics could have open the door, spoke to me, and we could have figured something out. Now not only is my car not getting repaired, I have to continue to drive on it while I find someone else to fix it which means the problem is going to get worse, and I am late to work! I came to this location because I was given good references from work, I can say without a doubt that I will never patron this establishment and will be very candid to anyone who asks about the performance and customer service of this location. read more

We have had success with Tire Discounters in the past with the exception of the other day July 29th. My tire was going low everyday so my husband decided to try the new location on Omniplex Drive. He waited 2 hours to be told there was nothing wrong with the tire. The next morning I got up and the tire was low again. I called our regular Tire Discounters on Rte 4 in Fairfield and made an appointment. I was there about an hour and a half and they found a small hole near the rim and replaced the tire. I will not be frequenting the OMniplex location again, but will highly recommend the location on Rte 4 by Showcase Cinemas. read more

I have always had great experiences at Tire Discounters. I've frequented many in the Greater Cincinnati area but I had tremendous experience at the Fairfield location this week. The guys that were there were awesome!! Tommy was super fast and friendly. Joe was very helpful and professional. Both team members really seem to enjoy what they do! Great customer service! I had my first experience here a couple weeks ago. I picked out a set of four tires online, and submitted an appointment request. Within 20 minutes, the manager called me to set the appointment for two days away. On that day, it took exactly an hour and a half for mounting, balancing, and alignment. The "Out the Door with More" price was exactly what they quoted and comparable, or less, than others' prices for just tires. They walked me through getting my mail-in rebate as well. I noticed on the way home, though, that the car was pulling to one side. I called the next day, and the same manager asked me to come down at my earliest convenience. This visit took two hours, which annoyed me, but they 100% fixed the problem (which is most important). The tires are surprisingly good for the money (quiet, grippy, and compliant). Overall, my experience was very good. The re-visit took longer than I'd have liked, but I will definitely take my other car here when it's time. read more
