I have been going to Pallens…read moreAutomotive for probably 25 years or more, I ran an automotive parts store and serviced the Pallens shop and even his one son Michael worked for me. I have two vehicles, my 2012 Chevy Silverado 4x4 and my wife's 2013 Ford escape AWD. My wife's car had a check engine light and a low tire pressure light come on the dash. I've told Tom, Steven, Victor and all of the other mechanics to never put cheap or one year warranty parts on any of my vehicles and from day one I've never complained about a repair bill. Now after calling and telling Steven that the code was 051, a crank case pressure sensor. Steven called and told me to bring the car into the shop Friday at 9:30am and he'll check it out. Now every time I deal with Steven he tells me that he'll check it out and call me but that never happens and we're without a car for two to three days and when I call he tells me oh I gotta check this or I gotta check that when in reality he's blowing smoke up my butt. Well the truth came out that Friday. When my wife dropped off her car she asked when can I pick up my car, now remember Steven told me 9:30am, well it was 8:30am. My wife was to told she could pick up her car at 4:00pm. I picked up my wife at her job in Elyria at 3:55pm and drove straight to Pallens and I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting. Finally she comes out and I asked what's going on and she tells me that the young mechanic just ran out to the parking lot and pulled her car into the garage and changed the sensor. She paid the bill and we leave, driving home on broadway my wife calls me and and says that the check engine light and tire pressure light is still on. I told her to turn around and go back. She's told that Steven will get the sensor from the Ford dealership and she asked about the tire pressure sensor and was told she has to make an appointment even though they stock those sensors. This proved to me that Steven was peeing on my foot and trying to tell me that it's raining. You cannot believe anything Steven tells you. When a man's words ring empty (Stay away) I've had repair bills of $2000 sometimes more and I never complained about any one of them but when you show me that patronizing, your business means nothing that I take my money and spend it elsewhere. Thank you Stephen you save me some money you can blow smoke up somebody else else's you'll never do it to me again.

My suspension and ride needed help; they replaced the stabilizer bar and other parts, significantly improving my ride and handling. Recently, I brought my car in to make the air conditioning colder. Whatever was done, I now have colder air conditioning, making my drive significantly more comfortable. They are friendly and demonstrate their attention to customer service and customer satisfaction.

The "noise" was still there. Hes a dirty con artist, DONT TRUST THIS POS!!! On one occasion his mechanic was giving me a lift home and complaining they were busy and the drunk mechanic called off again, so there you go. Do you really want a drunk repairing your car that you depend for your safety or the safety of your family and children, think about it! To top it off he's WAY overpriced.

I went to a few places that do this and was told it can't be fixed because of the rust. I went to Parma Care Specialist, and Ryan looked at the situation and told me it would not be worth doing. I told Ryan I was 87, disabled, and unable to afford another car. He said OK and gave me an estimate that I was satisfied with. They obtained the subframe from North Carolina, where there isn't any snow. They completed the job on time to perfection, and to my satisfaction. The Technicians at Parma C.C.S. are A.S.E. certified, as I was at one time, and I was trained by G.M. The A.S.E. stands for Automotive Service Excellence and denotes they are trained to work on different vehicles, and that means a lot to me. Whenever I go for car repairs, they see a cripple old man fumbling to get in the door, their rates go up. When you go to Parma C.C.S., they treat you with respect and get job done right the first time. I know this because I worked in the trade and highly recommend Parma Car Specialist.
