I purchased bead locks wheels and was shown 2 pictures of the 315/50r17 tire on em and was told they would get them,once there they show me a 45 way smaller, after I reluctantly convinced myself to take em I drove home to see the spacers where used and cracke from the seller to the receiver to the installer no one cared about my vehicle or my safety, mind you it's a hellcat Redeye. Worse 3800 dollars spent I went back and returned there trash. The only positive thing was Asmer the manager tried to correct everything due to his salesperson laughing infront of me over my complaining. I don't recommend anyone going. read more

I came to this shop because they have great prices on tires. Thats where all the pros stop. I have bigger wheels on my truck so it rubs against that cab. I wanted it fixed along with my new tires being put on. My truck was already leveled, but I was told a different leveling kit would fix the rubbing problem. So I took it in to get the new leveling kit on and this is where all the problems started. I was told it would take around two hours to do. Seven hours later my truck was done. I was in a rush that day so I just got my truck and left. Later that evening I was walking out to my truck I noticed my front left wheel was at an angle. At this point, I realized I got screwed over so I took my vehicle to Firestone the next day for an alignment. The workers at Firestone pulled me into the bay and showed me the bottom of my truck. Both of my front wheels had the wrong bolts in the lower control arm as well as the ball joints were destroyed. It looked as if they just dropped my truck on the ground without the wheels on it. I had to replace my upper control arms and my tie rods which set me back $1800. I've owned my truck for 5 years and I've never once had an issue with it till I took it to this shop. The day after I had my tie rods and control arms replaced. I go to take a small turn and my front left wheel snaps off. (will have pictures) I then have to send my truck back to Firestone. They informed me they didn't touch the part that failed indicating tire city messed that up too. I spend another $1700 to have the rest my front end replaced. I'm now $3,500 out just because I wanted to get my tires a little cheaper than other places. Moral of the story. Good prices + bad workmanship = you calling a tow truck. Oh and to top everything off. My truck still rubs on the cab. Thank you for screwing me. read more

The guys at tire city were pretty cool. I appreciate how well they worked with but I was on a time crunch. I was told that it wouldn't take more then an hour and a half to get me in and out. An hour and a half came and went and NO ONE said anything as to what the hold was. I could've made arrangements to handle my business if that was the case. When I was addressed it was already after the fact. Another thing was that, when they took my old rims off they just mishandled my old tires to where they were all over the place and they just didn't handle them with care especially when you can see what they are doing. This was my first time there and I heard good things about them but professionalism goes a long way. (Martin Tire) ...and this would not be an ideal way to conduct business if you are not going to meet time lines or mishandle peoples property. I need my old rims and equipment so like don't let my stuff just fall around all over the place. Don't go here if you like your aftermarket rims.!!! They damaged my rims after I explicitly asked them to be careful. Then they offered to paint them to hide the imperfections‍... they lie about their warranty they charged me 70 dlls for a sedan. with supposedly a five year warranty. 4 years later they say they never offered a warranty.. and that the 70 was just labor and the paper.. Now i have a crew cab pick up and Fox tinting on alameda charges me 60 w a lifetime warranty! read more

I bought a headlight and taillight set from them for my truck. Upon receipt and installation, I noticed they were NOT the same headlights that I ordered, and when I requested the receipt of sale to the company it wasn't "anywhere to be found," originally, and then the excuse was "my boss won't let me show it to you." Against my better judgement I agreed to have them installed anyway. The day I got them installed, they tried to charge me an extra $10 for a "broken blinker bulb that was received that way at the shop." I knew it wasn't true because I bought the truck brand new with only 46 miles on it 3 months before. When I asked for the old bulb that they had removed, they refused to provide it saying they threw it away, but the factory lights were in my truck in the box. I got the truck home and found BOTH WORKING BLINKER BULBS in my glove box, and the lights in the truck as they had stated. Finally, after about 2 months of driving at night for work, I decided to take out the headlights and try to upgrade to a brighter bulb because I didn't like the ones they used. I learned i made a huge mistake by allowing them to install the lights that weren't the ones I picked out because they literally used the cheapest LED light kit possible and charged $450 for the set that I can buy on amazon for $60. Also the tapped into wires they had absolutely no business touching to get power to the LED controllers, and worst of all they broke the factory headlights while removing them and lost or didn't replace multiple screws. I sincerely would NOT recommend tire city for any work to be done on your vehicle. Ever. Period. Even if they say they specialize in electric lighting systems, etc. and have a certified mechanic do all the work. It's all lies, so take my review for what it's worth. read more

I have been going to this tire shop for about six years, and my most recent visit was on September 6, 2017. I usually go to this tire shop for tire repairs, but decided to purchase a full set of tires this time. I did notice that things seemed to have changed since my last visit there, to have a flat tire fixed back in 2015 (if my memory serves me correctly). Only time will tell as to whether the tires will hold up. I did not want to spend too much on tires for a thirteen year-old vehicle, thus my reason for buying them from Tire City. The customer service of everyone there was very professional. My suggestions for better customer service would be: 1) Clearly explain the tire warranty, 2) Mount the spare tire back onto the customer's vehicle without being asked (most other reputable shops will automatically do that), 3) Pay attention to details (they forgot to put the tire stem caps back on the vehicle, requiring me to have to drive back), and 4) Pay attention to the paperwork (The description block on the paid receipt will prove critical should the customer need to invoke the warranty that comes with the tires). I must admit, the overall vibe during this trip was cordial, but something was missing that I can't fully explain (maybe it's the sense that the business is probably run by someone really young with limited business experience). I will probably still patronize this shop for my tire-repair needs if the purchased tires work out. read more

I bought rims and tires from this place. I was told that one of my air pressure sensors was bad and they charged me for a new one for $50. After the installation the tire pressure light was still on in the vehicle. I was told to come back in a week or so because the machine that resets the sensor was broke. I went back 2 weeks later and he said the machine was still broke and he took my number down and would call me. After a month of not hearing from them I went back to the shop and the machine he claimed was not working. I told him I wanted my money back for the so called new tire pressure sensor he installed and then he threatened me and said that he would take the new one back. I then said so which tire did you install the new one? He didn't know...then I said give me back the old one..do you have it?? Of course he didn't. I was pissed off because he was not trying to fix it and they gave me the run around for over a month. The tires looked good but service was horrible. I then told them I was looking at buying new HALO headlights and he said he would give me a deal because of the trouble. They installed the head lights to my error I only checked the low beams, I noticed a few days later that a bulb was missing on the high beams and also they broke the trim underneath the head lights. The lights are not flush and not secured completely because it wiggles. I called them and they said bring it in....but I had enough of this place. The best I can do is warn other people and hopefully deter people from going there. I do not trust them. I am mad and very unsatisfied with the customer service and the shop owners smart A$$. this is absolutely the best shop in town. i had never heard of them, so i was hesitant to go, but i got treated with the most respect and felt so comfortable there....as a female, i wanted to definately make sure they din't get over on me. but the prices that he has to offer, there was absolutely no way he didn't give me the best deal possible. i had a blowout and he already had my size in stock, and i was in and out including instillation in litterally 30 minutes. he will definately be seeing me agian and i will refer my family as well. thank you so much for the great service!!! read more
