Great service and great communication! I worked with Joseph on getting tires for my car. He set up a claim with my third party insurance which he had to do over the phone. Honestly it seemed like kind of a pain. He was kind and friendly and didn't make it a big deal. He also communicated every step of the way about what to expect and how long things reasonably should take. He was professional and friendly and made the visit smooth and easy. I would definitely go out of my way to make sure I worked with him again if/when I need my tires done again. 10/10 no complaints. read more

These guys are the business! Spot on to detail, perfection in customer service, they get the job accomplished 100 percent every time. Friendly and efficient staff. Restaurant right across the street and Taco Cabana next door. They do alignments, which is an added bonus! The tire warranty is an absolutely amazing deal. I made a same day appointment with the app. The site is super easy to use and navigate. I was able to pick out and pay for the tires I wanted prior to going to the store. The entire tire replacement process was an absolute breeze! read more

I want to reach out and say thank you to Adrian & Joseph for the phenomenal service & assistance getting me a new set of tires for my 2015 JKU, I was bummed when the tires I had originally wanted were discontinued but Mr Adrian went above and beyond to help me find something with great tire wear & mileage life that was close to the original set I had wanted. I also like to thank the guys who worked on the jeep and got me out the door as quick as they could. Thank you guys much appreciated read more

This location is pretty bad. I made a reservation for 2pm and by 3:30pm I had given up hope on seeing my vehicle enter the shop. Why do appointments if you can't honor them. I took a half day off work (which cost me time and money) only to have to do it again cause they can't get appointments figured out. The most frustrating part is watching people come and go with no appointment(s). I had 4 Michelins put on a year ago on my other car and had zero problems. Not sure who's running the show now but I'll be getting 4 new tires elsewhere. So frustrated! Edit: Below is an apology from Discount tire where I'm directed to a link to a Discount Tire Fleet login page. No login is provided for the page. This message most be autogenerated so don't expect anything sincere from Discount Tire. I ended buying 4 Michelin from Martin Tire where they had a free shuttle to drop me off back at home then pick me back up when the car was done. Highly recommend for the convenience alone! read more

Best customer service I've had at an auto repair business! Very quick service and got me back on the road in less than an hour! '

Needed to replace two tires and fix another. Came out to pretty expensive at first but Andres helped bring the best deal and we left extremely satisfied. Busy so the car got out later but not worried about that at all considering the quality. read more

Put the wrong tires on my wife's car, didn't notice until we came to get the front ones because they started making a noise. Took it to them first to try and figure out what the issue was since it started with their maintenance, they said they didn't find anything and so we took it to Firestone and spent around two grand to find out that they just gave us the wrong type of tire. And they still wanted us to pay $300 out-of-pocket for four of the correct tires. I shouldn't have to worry about a tire shop giving me the wrong tire for my vehicle when I asked for the type that was on it already read more

The staff and manager are amazing customer service experts. They work with you to get you the best deal available. Tires are getting expensive and they are trying their best to help. It's about the little things and they do them. read more

Went in for a road hazard replacement and they no longer carry or manufacture Pathfinders in my size they sold me. They want me to up charge me for a different tire and or replace all so they can match. Discount used to be great. They now only care about corporate greed and no longer care for their customers. Absolutely awful. If I'm treated this way, I'm sure they treat everyone else similarly. Customer since the 90s. No more. I'll go to BigO, Kelly, Goodyear, Sam's or Walmart. Bye bye. read more

This was an amazing experience, they did everything while i waited. And GET THIS, i didn't know they said i had 2 nails in my tires and that they were going to patch it up so it might take a little longer. I was genuinely surprised and scared because i didn't have more money to pay for the repairs, luckily the only words that came out of his mouth was "you're cars ready! Have a great day :)) shoutout them people! read more

Came in for a tire replacement under warranty. Gave them my number and I was told that the tires did not came up and needed the original receipt. Once I found the receipt they some how found the tires under my number and agreed to replace it. Dropped off the vehicle and then I get a call that unfortunately the tire was not in stock and was going to take 2 weeks to come in. Two weeks pass by and nothing. I show up to the store and the tire was there. I make an appointment for next day since they could not take the truck in and when I show up the next day for my appointment I was told no appointment was made. Horrible service. No communication. read more

Beware of Discount Tire on Hondo Pass!!! I went to Discount Tire on Hondo Pass on May 18, 2020, to get four new tires four my Titan since I was informed by my mechanic they needed to be replaced. After my tires were put on, I took my truck to Express Lube to get my inspection done. Express Lube told me the Lug Nut was missing, and this was unsafe. I called Discount Tire regarding the missing Lug Nut, and I was told it was dangerous to drive. Louie state's it's not hazardous to drive with a Lug Nut missing. They agreed to bring a Lug Nut. When Louie came, he looked at the screw and said it was stripped. He said he saw the Nut was missing however he didn't mention it before they took my truck or after I picked it up. I firmly believe they stripped the screw, trying to take it off and didn't tell me. I also told Louie I wanted the original metal-air caps to be put back on. They kept them and put plastic caps on the truck. Do not get your tires from Discount Tires. They will steal your items and break pieces to your tire and not notify you. I will be contacting the BBB in the morning. read more

Ordered from Discount as tires would come in less time than Sams and they price-matched Sams. Called yesterday to check if tires came in and they had, so made an appt for today at 11am, explaining to the man who helped me that I take care of my mom and would be leaving her alone so needed it to be as quick as possible. He said it would be done in an hour. I asked are you certain and he said yes. Got here today and had to wait 15 mins in line even with my appt then explained again about my mom and showed them a live camera showing her in her recliner (she can't walk or I would never have left her alone) and they said no later than 12:05. I walked to Walmart to shop and got back by 12:00 only to see my car hadn't been moved!! I spoke to Chuck the Mgr and he apologized that they had so many appts and got behind and they would do it right away. I showed him the live camera with my mom and all he could do was apologize and tell me 20 mins., which was actually over 45 mins. ago. Never buying tires here again as they can't be honest about time necessary - would have waited the extra week for Sams if my mom didn't have dr appts this week. Poor customer service. Don't schedule so many at once and don't lie about delivery time, especially when you know you're swamped and behind. Poor management and poor communication. The ones who work the hardest are the tire techs - sales persons lying about completion time only hurt the customer and the tire techs. read more

This Discount Tire location is quite BUSY! I have always enjoyed the Discount Tire Franchise for many years now because they have excellent costumer service and their work is reliable. For this specific location I highly suggest you make an appointment ahead of time. I am not familiar with all the details but if it is a small pinch they do offer to patch your tires for free then if you need tires and you don't have credit their credit guidelines are friendly. I highly suggest discount tire for anyone who needs is in need of tire service. read more

Took my car in for a flat, they couldn't patch it because it had too much damage. They took my car out of the bay and made me wait again just so they could replace the tire. Why couldn't they just keep it in the bay and replace it then? I don't know. I waited 4 hours and got there 30 minutes before they opened. read more

Took my truck for a drop kit and they ended up convincing me to put wheel. Big mistake, they had my truck for 2 days. Tires wouldn't fit so I asked to cancel the wheels and they were still trying to charge me over 1000$. A wheel bearing cover was missing, 2 of my side steps were broke. No alignment was done to it and it feels terrible driving i. I asked them to give me a discount at least and refused. So now I'm stuck having to fix my truck and lost 920 dollars. Smh I'm very disappointe. Never again will I trust a shop read more

Exceptional service! My tire was about to pop, it was 4 pm and firestone guy said they had a long line (Lies, they had plenty personnel and like 5 cars), so they would not get to it that day. other places said the same thing. I called to this place and drove super slow, got there at around 5:10 and they still took care of my car! Despite of being super busy ( way busier than Firestone), they were offering free air checks, helping people in line and even offered me a bottle of water! read more

Discount Tire - Excellent service!! - Tires Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Called around. This place had the tire size I needed. It was extremely busy, and they didn't have enough people working in the front, super long line. After paying for my tire my estimated completion time was coming up. I even took time to go get food. When I got back, another long line, I went straight to the front and just asked if I could pick up my tire. It was ready, but they don't have any system in place to help customers with pick ups, just wait in the long line. After loading my tire, I noticed it was not rated for highway. They got the right size, but the wrong tire. This is the second time I've had an issue with this particular store. Some months back, they said they had the tire size I needed, and I drove all the way over to pick it up, and it ended up being the wrong size. Either way, this time, I am now waiting for them to put the proper rated tire on my rim. What a complete waste of 2 and a half hours. They need to do better, because all this did was solidify why I don't go to this store. I would have went somewhere else, but they are the only ones that had this size, and somehow managed to screw it up. read more

The prices are to die for. Customer service was on point. I was so indecisive of the wheels I wanted. They brought a wheel I wanted out to the front...Still wasn't sure...they took the rim outside so I could see what it look like on the car. Still was unsure, before they mounted the rim and tires took another pic n sent it to me via text. With that type of patients with a customer you can't go wrong. A week later went back to change the lugs....got a great price.... read more

Visited the store today and was immediately greeted by Charles Smith. Before I said anything, he had already checked my vehicle in. The staff were ready to greet customers upon the doors opening. I've never been to a Discount Tire before, but I'm sure glad I finally decided to come. I called to see what it would cost to get a tire plugged, and they told me they'd do it for free - way better than paying $30 on Ft. Bliss. I had an issue with cross-threaded broken studs after a tire rotation at this location. The manager Alan was very helpful, I had my vehicle at another location for the repair and he offered to cover the labor for the repairs. I found this to be excellent customer service. I will likely return to this location just because of the excellent customer service I received from the manager and service staff. read more

I had a nail in my tire and arrived before 10am, visibly seeing the place pretty busy. I called the number to this shop on google while waiting in the parking lot and informed them that I am a mother with two toddlers by myself and that I'm in no rush but need some help. Someone came out to me, took down my information and inspected the tire. It just needed to be patched which I know takes about 20 minutes. The fact that the worker came out to me & discussed what needed to be done was incredible to do, I think his name was josh. He was very kind and patient because I had no idea where the nail was. He told me to come back in 2.5 and that the car would be assessed and completed shortly after I arrived, maybe on the 3rd hour. I appreciated the information. Left, grocery shopped, dropped off groceries at my house and came back in the time frame I was told. I waited for 1.5 hours before anyone even spoke to me. I asked multiple guys working here if I need to wait in line, or do I wait to speak to the previous person that helped me. Every person looked at me like I was bothering them and they just passed me off. People were coming in for the same reason as me, getting their vehicles in and out while I waited outside with my toddlers in the car to be spoken to. Each employee in the office is on their own time here, nobody communicates to each other or the customers. They are obligated to come to work and by the looks on their faces, don't seem to like their job very much. Which is sad because discount tire is a great store. The mechanics were great though. read more

Scheduled a tire rotation and balance on their website. Prompt and very professional service, as usual!

Came in with a flat, was informed that it was non-repairable and ordered a new set of tires at 9:30am - was told they would be ready no later than 2:00pm but would receive a call if done sooner - and at 2:30 I called to check..... gave my name and description of my car so they could look and was told "it's ready come on by." I show up to see the donut still on my car and the other 3 original tires.... when I get inside they call and the tires are still on their way..... about an hour later I get a call that it's ready - show up, pay, and leave to later discover my donut is not properly affixed in my trunk and my Jack is now missing..... I generally like my experiences with discount tire and have been using them for years - this location has some issues that need to be reviewed with corporate! read more

Martin tire on Hondo Pass is so bad. My sister took her flat tire to have it either repaired or patched. We got there at 1:15pm on 7/15/22 The attendant gave her a time to come for it at 4:45pm that same afternoon and it would be ready for her to pick up. We waited all that time and it was 5:00pm, she asked if the tire was ready. He said it would be another 2 hrs but they close @6pm So she would have to come at 7:am the next day to stand in line and put her name on the list again so they can service her tire. BULL SHIT if her tire has been there since 1:45 why would she have to go stand in line and start all over again. Fix the damn tire when you close and when the store opens its done!! Or the attendant should have been honest and said "mam we go by appt. only it won't be ready till tomorrow and give an x time. I'm so glad I don't live in this damn town and if anything happens while I'm visiting I surely won't be going to Martin Tire!!! They need to have 1 open garage where they service people who go in walk thru. Most people come when a tire happens to get flat unexpectedly. So they only have garages for appts. only?? Shame bad ugly service!!! If I could give it half a star I would. Bad thing is my sister let's people walk all over her. Tomorrow won't be a good day if it's not ready when it opens. I will raise HELL!!! read more
