THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I was from out of town and my tire went flat on a Sunday and the man working was extremely rude and was not interested in helping me. I had to get another tow truck to tow my BMW to another tire company. Don't waste your time because the service was terrible. read more

Amazing people. Went above and beyond for my family and I when our car had trouble on the way home from a road trip. They stayed open late for us. Garry, the manager drove my mom and I to the airport nearby (over 20 mins away from the shop) so that we could get a rental car because no rental car places where open on Sunday past 5:00 when we had car trouble. I was visiting SC when my niece took her car here for a routine oil change. Long story short, the technician removed the old oil, replaced the oil filter but never placed new oil in the car. My niece barely avoided a rear-ending when later that day her power steering and brakes stopped responding. The manager originally offered to fixed the car but now my niece is stuck dealing with Tread Quarters insurance company and a totaled vehicle. They won't even refund the money for the oil change. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

To their credit, the very next business day, the district mgr called me and explained that the staff members involved were relatively new and would use this experience as a teaching moment. very unprofessional i was told had multiple problems with my car, i went in for a simple oil chance and came back with a list of things to get done. i took to an mechanic and nothing was wrong all except they had spilled oil all over the place! so i called to ask for a refund and they refused, told them i had proof of no oil leaks and they would not refund me, i asked for the corporate number that he could not provide so i called another location that was happy to provide me with the number with out any explanation needed 1-800-876-6676 for any one that has a problem getting the number. all i wanted was a refund and to be treated fairly. tq corporate was on the other hand very helpful. read more

Wow! I had my oil changed here a few days ago, and I have never had such a seamless and pleasant experience doing so! The customer service was top-notch, they changed my oil quickly, and gave me helpful information about how my car was doing. Everyone was good-natured, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have been a Tread Quarters customer for more than 10 years in Williamsburg, Va and recently in the Columbia, SC area. Bought a lot of tires and had routine maintenance done. I called the Dutch Square store this morning for an appointment for oil change, rotation, etc. Given a 1:30 appointment and arrived around 1:00. Sat there for two hours and got up to walk around a bit and saw may car, not moved, still in the parking lot. No one had informed me of a delay or any other information. My girlfriend took our car here this past Saturday for an oil change. During inspection, they called me outside to show me my brakes needed replacing on the front end. I didn't want to pay them 150 to change my brakes when I knew I could get them cheaper elsewhere. After they finished changing my oil, I took my car straight to a mechanic to have the brakes replaced. They showed me where the stud and nut was screwed in extremely to tight and was bent before he even took the tire off. Now because of this place that changed my oil, I'm gonna have to purchase a nut and stud which wouldn't be necessary if they had screwed it back on correctly. My car is a 2014 and I purchased it new. Nothing was wrong with those screws until I came here. It was my first and last time. From now on I'll continue too go to precision tune. They had been booked Saturday which is why I tried this place to start with but never again! I wish I could give 0 stars for thier careless work. read more

My name is Nicole and i normally don't leave reviews but after having such great service i really wanted to say something about tread quarters . First of all i am a young women and at times of going into a shop such as this one i get treated differently because i am female which always makes me feel uncomfortable, but i know i have to get my car serviced and i always dread when its due ! A friend of mine had just gotten tires and said the manager was very knowledgable and didn't try and sell her on anything she didn't need but only pointed out what needed to be done , she told me to try them out on my next service !!!! I went in a few days ago to get a full service and right away i was greeted in a professional manor the manager Johnny was very patient with me as i tried to explain what kind of problems my car had been giving me . I was very impressed with his ability to greet the other customers answer the phone and deal with me . Most places will just let the phone ring and not even speak to customers as they walk in if they are already dealing with someone but he was very consistent with taking care of everyone after about 30 min he called me over to inform me that a part on my car was missing and needed to be replaced (i had just taken my car in to another shop just a month before to get this part fixed which they charged me an arm and a leg for and then didn't even bother to put in on ) so i was grateful he found that which of course fixed the problem all together !!!! I will be taking my car back for any services i need done in the future ! If there were more places ran the way Johnny that shop i would probably be more trusting of people !!!!!!
