Customer Service: 5 Professional: 5 Affordability: 5 Upon arrival, I could tell that they were extremely busy and a very popular business. I was greeted by Cameron, who was very professional and knowledgeable. After Cameron examined the tire he informed me that the tire was 10 years old and he stated it is unsafe to just plug it. So I decided to just buy 4 new tires for my tire, when Cameron gave me a very affordable quote. He informed me that he would be able to get the tires within 2 hours. He estimated that my truck would be ready within 8 hours, and just actually got it done within 6 hours. I'm very pleased and happy with this experience!!! Note: They honor a military discount with identification, which was very nice on a large purchase.

Kar Kare is what a business should be: local, friendly, honest, and fair. When I need tires or…read morebrakes, this is where I go. They work with customers to find the best deals, explain problems your car may have (and show you the problem), and get you on your way as quickly (but safely) as possible. The rapport between the owners and customer demonstrates the roots Kar Kare has in the community and the appreciation the owners have for their customers. For example, this morning I went in to get four new tires and brakes. I was in and out in just over and hour. I was treated fair and kindly. And all my questions were answered. Which brings up another positive - you never feel like you've asked a dumb question and are never talked down to by the folks at Kar Kare. They're just good people. On a side note: My grandfather, who passed away in 2010 at 93, thought highly of Kar Kare. He felt they were one of the few remaining businesses that treated people right. He took his cars there for years and trusted no one else. He often spoke of a time when he was about 90 and need air in his tires. He took his 2002 Taurus to Kar Kare, which was just down the road. The owner, Charlie, told him that the tires were dry-rotting. Charlie advised him to stay off the road and get four new tires. In his 80s my grandfather barely drove beyond 5 miles of home so the tires looked good, but were rotting inside. My grandfather told Charlie he needed to go home and get his checkbook. Charlie told my grandfather, a long-time customer, "That's not safe. Let's get the new tires on. Then you go home, get your checkbook, and come back to pay." That's exactly what happened. My grandfather was so touched that Charlie and Kar Kare were taking "such good care of an old man like me." For that act of kindness toward my grandfather, I'll always be a loyal Kar Kare customer as well.

I found Turnage Auto Care through Yelp and made the appointment right through the Yelp app. Tyler messaged me and set everything up. Aaron greeted me right as I arrived and got the process started. While changing the oil they inspected my car and found a few issues with the tires I mostly knew about. He offered to send a quote to replace one or all tires & TPMS sensors ( which my 13 yr old car was needing ) I liked that they quote through a text link so you can see the cost and everything associated with the repair. You can decline the service or accept it. We talked about tires and sensors and ultimately decided to go with a better tire than quoted. They priced the cost and labor very competitively and I approved the service. There was no pressure at all during this transaction. Just information and options.
