Bought a set of 4 tires for my truck several years ago. I went there to get a tire rotation and was told the tires were to old to rotate. The tires needed to be less than 7 years old so they would not rotate them. What does the age of a tire have to do with a rotation ? The tires still have excellent tread because I don't use it much. I love the people who work here. I haul horses and the key to safe travel are my tires. I can just walk in and they will problem solve my issue and I am in and out of there usually in less than a half an hour. They are courteous, reliable and make a stressful situation better. I requested an appointment through their website in the morning. I received an e-mail saying that my request had been sent and that they would get back to me. I went ahead and showed up at the time requested. Right off the bat, the kid at the counter decided to tell me his thoughts on COVID, I could really care less about your opinions on anything, but thanks I guess? He then told me that I wasn't in the system. After showing him the e-mail he proceeded to tell me that they don't same day appointments, but he could get my car in but it would be about 5 hours before it was done. I told him never mind and that I would just schedule an appointment somewhere else. So, he tried telling me that he MIGHT be able to get it done in two hours, I once again, said no thanks and left. As soon as I got in my car I received an e-mail saying that my request was confirmed and to come in as soon as possible. I knew I was taking a gamble going there in the first place. I got 4 tires here within the month after I got them they tires quite holding air all four of them. I went back and the guy at the desk told me it's not there fault it's mine. They are not responsible for the tires. All four tires seals are leaking? Really? I told him this was the fourth time I have been in the store that month to get the seal job on my tires fixed and I didn't wanna come back so please seal them right and he shrugged his shoulders with a smirk and said that wasn't his fault it was mine. He just kept repeating that over and over. The GM Was standing next to him talking to another employee while this was going on. Almost all there staff was sitting around eating and talking while my car was back there unattended. It took a hour and a half for the seal on my tire to be fixed. Before now, I've always had good experiences when taking my car to this particular Tire Barn, so much so that I brought my new (to me) car in from Indianapolis when I needed new tires. I let the guy behind the counter up sell me to a pair of Yokohamas, which was fine considering the perks of this particular tire and the fact that there was a $60 rebate. My three-star review stems from the fact that they screwed up one of the bolts on my tire, then proceeded to tell me that it was like that when I brought the car in, which was a bold-faced lie. So now I have to have the bolt drilled out and buy a new lug nut for my car (all at my own expense) because someone screwed up and the management doesn't want to take responsibility for their employees. Other than the lying and the fact that I'm out even more money, this place is pretty good. They're friendly and quick (my car took a little more than an hour), but if you take your car to them, make sure to get some photographic proof of the state of your tires before you go in. If only I hadn't been so trusting and had done so myself. read more

I drove over a pothole on a country road in Rockville, that was roughly the size of Minnesota. I took my tire to Logan at Tire Barn, and he said I had a cracked rim. He gave me a contact here in Terre Haute, with the address and phone number to repair my rim. I was not charged for them taking the rim off the tire or for putting everything back together. The only caveat with Tire Barn is that they usually take a long time to do the work. However they have treated me well when I am there. read more

My girlfriends daughter took her Smart car in there for an alignment, 30 minutes later the car was done, they set the Toe on the front only and charged $125. I have done many alignments in my past as a mechanic and this car is no different than any other, so I guess Tire Barn has a $250 an hour shop rate, which is well over double the national average for auto shops. What a bunch of CROOKS, but I knew that from my own experience with them, I hope they close the doors for good on that place soon. read more

I've purchased 3 sets of tires here. This price, after you break it down, is about the same as any discount tire place. Also got alignments. Here's the issue, every time I've visited, I have to revisit at least one time to correct their workmanship. Poor tire balance is the norm. Sloppy alignment resulting in a crooked steering wheel or pull. I've now sworn off tire barn in Terre haute. My time is too valuable to quality control their work and revisit at least once if not twice to get it right. Top it off with surly customer service, and I'm amazed anyone goes to tire barn in terre haute. I will not again. read more

I had the best experience today. I made an appointment to have my Jeep aligned. Its been driving weird since we had new tires put on and rotated at another place in town (Belle Tire). Come to find out it was so unsafe and unlawfully done that Tire Barn (Ethan) fixed everything without charge! He wouldn't let me pay. He was enthusiastic about his job, caring and helpful. He explained and answered questions and actually had a conversation with me about everything. They not only realigned my tires, but also re weighted them, as well as found a defect in one of the new tires under warranty at Belle Tire (the last two things were the unsafe and unlawful thing BT should have found and fixed). I felt taken care of and heard. I would have gladly paid double for that but Tire Barn cared more about my safety than my money. Not to mention they took care of me in less than an hour (but honestly I'll wait for quality work to get done right the first time). They definitely have my future business! Took my truck in yesterday for a TPSM sensor replacement. Get in the truck to leave and I've got 3 new warning lights saying my ABS, traction control and stabilitrack systems aren't functioning. Bring it to their attention before I leave their parking lot. Listen to some guy whine about not wanting to deal with it and wanting to go home. Get told they can't fix it that night and bring it to the GM in the morning. Take it in to the GM, wait 2 and a half hours to be told it's not their fault but they'd order the part and charge me to fix it if I want to make an appointment. That's some real customer service right there! read more

I hardly ever write a bad review, but when something really makes me mad, I don't want others to have the same experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS TIRE BARN!!!! We had a hole in our tire from a bolt that punctured it. They did a fine patch job, but when my husband got home and I was looking over the car. There were tow huge scratches by the trunk that were not there before. I immediately took it back and the manager came out to inspect it. He said those scratches had been there a while. We bought the car 2 weeks ago and there were no scratches on it! We know they did these. The manager took pictures and said he would submit it to his insurance company and would call us the next day. We still have not received a call. We have heard of similar instances like this from people we know. Do Not Go Here if you want all the paint left on your car. read more

I went into Tire Barn with a flat tire. I'd just been reading about new tires for all-wheel drives (a Subaru Forester), and was pretty sure I'd have to get four new tires -- unless, maybe they could fix the flat tire, which I doubted. Four new tires would've run around $600. But they fixed the tire I had, and over the phone, told me it would be $18. When I arrived at Tire Barn to pick up my car, the guy at the counter waved away my card, and told me it was on the house. Wow. They earned my business forever. read more
