I confronted the service manager and he said that usually doesn't happen. I was so frustrated and the feeling of disrespect was overwhelming. Their way of saying sorry was a free detail inside and out. That's just pitiful, they have lost all of my business and my families business. NEVER AGAIN.

Tire Barn Terre Haute -- Very Disappointed With How My Tire Was Handled…read moreI took my tire to Tire Barn in Terre Haute to have a screw removed. The tire was holding air when I brought it in. It had been mounted on the rim for approximately four years, had never been off the rim since it was installed, and had only about 4,000 miles on it. While I was waiting, an employee came out and told me that the bead area of the tire was damaged/chewed up and said it was already like that when they took the tire off the rim. I immediately questioned that because, in my opinion, there is no way the tire could have been holding air for years with the bead damaged to the extent shown in these pictures. I inspected it myself and took pictures of the damage. What really concerns me is that instead of taking responsibility for what happened during the tire service, I was simply told that the damage was already there. I'm posting the pictures so people can look at the damage and make their own judgment. I don't expect a business to be perfect, but I do expect them to stand behind their work and be honest with customers when something goes wrong. Based on this experience, I am very disappointed with Tire Barn and will think twice before bringing my vehicles back there.

Well lets just say someone didn't know how to do their job, because they didn't tighten the lug nuts on, not 1, but 3 of my "new" tires!!! I was driving to work and notice my car was driving rough, luckily my job has a shop and the mechanic was able to take a look at my car in and let me know Tire Barn didn't do their job. 3/4 tires were not tightened and almost FELL OFF!!!
