Green stripes!! BEWARE!! It was supposed to be blond highlights. This took five hours . I asked to have it corrected and I would pay when it was corrected but they threatened me with theft of services if I didn't pay right away. Can you imagine calling the police on a dissatisfied customer! I found out afterward that this was the stylist first time doing highlights. It cost $157 . Stay away from this salon they are unprofessional, poorly trained and unethical! read more

Vicki the owner is amazing. She honest, professional and knowledgeable. She cares about your hair and is an amazing stylist.

I had the GK treatment (or at least I was told it was GK - Global Keratin product) in March 2015. I waited the customary 48 hours before washing my hair. Immediately after the first wash, my hair came out curly and frizzy. Today (1 month later) it looks and feels as though I haven't a treatment in 6 months. The only conclusion I can make is their 'special application process' touted on the web serves only to water down the active ingredients in GK. Shame on Tiramisu for taking everyone's money and not providing adequate products and services. Shame on Tiramisu for not caring about their reputation or about acquiring happy, paying customers. GK is an amazing product that doesn't belong in the hands of Tiramisu Salon. read more

I got a keratin treatment done last week by Mimi and she did an AWESOME JOB! This week Vicki is doing my color, cut and style and it's also AWESOME! Will definitely be back!!! read more

Let me start off by saying I've had several keratin treatments from various salons from 2010 to 2014. I used a Groupon for a keratin treatment this past Friday and had Mimi (spelling?) as my stylist. What an ordeal. 1) She received word the day that I made the appointment that I had thick, long, african-american hair, but clearly didn't know how to handle it the day of. The key to a proper keratin treatment is the blowout and flat iron, which she didn't know how to do well. She didn't know that she should section the hair properly into small sections and snapped at me when I made the suggestion once it was clear she was struggling. And so when it came to blowing it out, it didn't smooth out the way it should have at this stage, the way it always does when I do it at home and the way it always does when other pro stylists blowdry it. So of course, when it came time to flat iron, it wasn't getting straight. When I told her this, she asserted keratin treatments weren't like relaxers (um, duh?), and then argued that it was straight. Frustrating. 2) They have an odd method, not sanctioned by Global Keratin, the manufacturers of the product they use, where they add water to the product so that it's thin enough to pour 1 or 2 ounces into a spray bottle (rather than apply 2 to 3 ounces of pure product with a brush and bowl) and spray it over the hair rather than using an applicator brush. To them, it saves time (and product). They argue that it ensures an even coat throughout, but that doesn't seem to fly for all hair types. This may work for some hair types (which is still dubious, since no one else, including Global Keratin, advises it be done this way), but for others this is simply asking for trouble. Also, if you're going to do it this way, the amount of product in the watered down solution should still equal out to the amount of product Global Keratin's scientists instruct to apply to the hair. It didn't. It was far less. Further, this method ensures that there's just as much product inadvertently sprayed all over the floor, the towel around your neck, and your salon robe as there is in your hair. The lack of precision is astounding. Which is why this next point is so irritating. 3) Because of the length and thickness of my hair, I was charged $25 for another ounce of their already watered down product when she ran out of the one or two ounces in her spray bottle that she sprayed on my hair, the towel, and the floor. This is honestly like charging someone for an ounce more of extra shampoo during a wash. It screams stingy, is a rather off-putting, and really makes one wonder about the quality of service they're really receiving. 4) A couple hours in, Mimi stopped to go eat something in the breakroom because she was "starving". I mean, really? I ate before I arrived, surely she could have done the same. About 5 hours later (yes, 5 hours), she finished and left to take the flat iron she just used back to the beauty supply store. Thank God for the other girl there - sadly I don't recall her name; I just know she had very short, very light colored hair and lived in Denver once - who saw my hair getting puffier and reverting back with every moment that passed, agreed that my hair hadn't been done properly, and blew it out and flat ironed it again, with much more competence. All in all, I was there for 6 hours. ONLY because the 2nd girl was professional and worked with a blowdrier and flat iron like she knew what she was doing, do I give this place 2 stars. But I should have been there for 3 hours for an initial treatment as is standard for a pro, not 6 - my experience with Mimi was easily the worst and longest keratin treatment I've ever received, and I've had this done about 15 - 20 times by 5 different stylists around the country. The 2nd girl suggested I keep in the treatment for a few days longer than Mimi advised, so when I wash it out I'll evaluate the final results. My hair has remained puffed out the past few days. If the results aren't up to par after I wash it, I expect to receive a refund. If they work to resolve it properly, I might go back and work with the 2nd girl. But I'll never let Mimi put her hands in my hair again. read more

They did a great job on my keratin treatment. I absolutely love it! I've been going there a little over a year. Now they have this incredible deal for only $99.99 per month. I can get whatever I want done whenever I want. (Color, blow outs, hair cuts, keratin treatment, & etc...) it's really a best kept secret. Seriously, have you ever heard of such a thing? Having a membership for your hair. The thing I'm worried about is there will come a time I won't be able to get an appointment. read more

Very Good Service, style and hair care. Always done in a very timely manner as well.

Absolutely great service! Everyone there was really friendly. I got the exact pixie cut I asked for based on a glance at a photo I showed the stylist. read more

I got a haircut here this week and loved the whole experience! The hours are great. The stylists are wonderful! Corinne understood everything I wanted and gave some great suggestions when I asked about possibly coming back for a color treatment. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my visit! read more

I'm new to the area and was nervous about finding a new stylist. I made a call to Tiramisu Salon and, after explaining what I was looking for, was quickly scheduled for an appointment the same day. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. I have baby fine, thin hair that requires close attention to detail for a pixie cut to look good. Highly recommend!! read more

Another lovely haircut by Jamie! I have had haircuts and color done here for the past year and have always been happy! I did have a Keratin treatment here over a year ago and although I wasn't that impressed by it (personal preference), I did not have any damage or issues with it. read more

Amazing service. Gave me the exact cut that I wanted, and suggested a great product for my hair.

First time visiting Tiramisu and I absolutely glad I found them... I love my hair so much and I'm a picky girl!!! I received single process color/ highlights and keratin was there all day but couldn't be happier. They took the time and listened to exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend to give them a try you will be so pleased. I have recvd so many compliments in just 1 day. read more

While their professional services are OK, their business practices are not. My wife cancelled her membership at the end of November 2018 when they changed location, but they keep charging the card every month despite verbally acknowledging the cancellation. If you cancel your monthly membership you MUST GET IT IN WRITING/EMAIL. Otherwise you will spend precious time disputing charges with your card issuer. read more

Awesome salon with the nicest people! Love my highlights had a blowout for my bday and everyone loved it!! I highly recommend this salon!

Not impressed at all. Got lured in w Groupon keratin treatment. Warning- you get what u pay for, which is crap. 'Stylists' don't know how to treat different peoples hair. My hair was damaged after the keratin treatment. Would never go back now would NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

I purchased a livingsocial deal for unlimited hair services for $99 a month. I found the deal to be too good to be true, but I figured I could at least get a keratin treatment since it was listed as a covered service under the deal. I had the treatment done, and it was great. I had to pay $25 extra for having long hair, but I was fine with that. So I had a little faith in the salon and went in two weeks later to get my hair cut/colored. After two hours, I looked exactly the same as I walked in. While my hair was being washed, I asked the stylist if the color turned out well and she said yes. I have black hair and asked for noticeable brown highlights, and it was still black when I left! Not to mention I had to ASK the stylist to cut the front of my hair which was totally neglected. The people there are friendly, but I would never go back. read more

Beware of this place. Bought a Groupon for a keratin treatment and it fried my hair. The stylist used too high of heat when sealing the keratin with a flat iron. I called to speak with the salon owner, only to be called back by the receptionist and was told that the owner just wanted me to come in and see a stylist for an evaluation. Was scheduled with Bobby who is apparently the Salon educator. Then was called back again to be told that I would instead be seeing the girl that fried my hair in the 1st place. I really need to have my hair cut about 4 inches as it is that damaged, but trying to avoid that. Very unprofessional that the owner wouldn't return my call after my hair was ruined. Stay away from this place!!!! Contacting Groupon and every other review site. read more

Do not give them your credit card/cash card information. After your membership is up Ulrick will still try to charge you. He charged my card and I am still trying to get my money back. he stated it was a computer software error and my funds would be returned. I have had to file a complaint with better business. ugh! read more

I have been a customer for about 3 years and have gone here specifically for keratin treatments. I have been satisfied, until my last visit in January of 2017. I have sent the salon an email about my dissatisfaction and did not receive an apology or acknowledgement of my complaint, so I decided to use my voice in this outlet. My stylist showed up 30 minutes late for the appointment- thankfully another stylist (who had her own client) was helpful and after her client left, she was nice enough to start by shampooing me so that when my stylist arrived, it would be a little easier. Upon the late arrival, my stylist never apologized or even acknowledged being late. She mixed up my keratin (the helpful stylist told her two times that she would need extra because my hair was longer). I am familiar with this because I've had many treatments, and at least 6-8 at this salon and typically use the 2nd bottle of keratin. My stylist only mixed one, so on to more delays while she mixed up the 2nd bottle. The actual application went and seemed fine, I know the drill, so she did seem to use the same amount of product (after mixing the 2nd bottle) and the process was identical to what I'm used to..... BUT after waiting 72 hours to wash, not getting it wet or using any type of bands or hats, I knew immediately the first time I dried my hair that the procedure that I had was sub par. I can typically straighten out frizz and curl with little effort for at least the first 60 days, after that I expect a little more work, but still the treatment makes my hair very manageable for 3-4 months. NOT THIS TIME...I am a month and a half out and feel like I have not had a treatment for 3-4 months. I do not know what to attribute this to other than a diluted solution?? Wrong solution?? I am VERY disappointed...The time and money I spend to get this treatment done is painful, but worth it....except this time. I wish that someone from the salon had contacted me after I used their website to comment and share my feedback- I wouldn't have to take this to a public forum, but since that didn't happen, I feel the need to share that something just was not right in my last treatment. I hope they step up their game, especially since I was told the cost would be increasing. I was using a special rate offered originally via Groupon, but since I purchased in groups of 3, the salon honored the rate. The price, I was told, was going to be twice as much as I had paid for my last three...I won't be back. The only positive I have from this was the very nice stylist who accommodated me while mine was en route to work. read more

Amazing salon! Vicky is FANTASTIC and super sweet. Was referred to this salon from a friend who recently discovered them too. They were professional, friendly and have legit experience. I have natural hair - a lot and Vicky navigated it perfectly. I've now gone back for a color job that was absolute perfection. The salon has a very diverse clientele with different hair types. They have a monthly membership option - which I just joined which is an excellent deal - includes color, keratin, trims). I highly recommend - my hair has never looked better. Check them out ASAP - I've found my new salon home :-) read more

I have been coming here since 2009. Vicki and Ulrick are AMAZING! There have been some ups and downs with staff over the years, but the one thing that has remained consistent is my wonderful experience and relationship with the stylists Vicki and Ulrick. Now Vicki and I both noticed a change in my hair back in 2013. We thought I must be missing a nutrient and kept careful watch over it. It turned out it was my body's way of letting me know I had cancer. Since I initially started out with Ulrick as my stylist back in the day, I asked him to shave my head as I prepped for chemo. It was an emotional and beautiful moment for us. Now that I have beat breast cancer, and my hair has grown back completely different, Vicki is showing me how to take care of curly hair and really treasuring it. I appreciate the time and care you take with my hair. Most of all, thank you sharing your knowledge of hair and products. I always leave with a big smile on my face! read more

I took in photos of the cut I wanted, a basic bob with some texturing on the ends; what I ended up with was a David Cassidy/Keith Partridge shag! I was so exhausted from working all day and couldn't see well enough to notice right after it was done but once I noticed the next day what can you do? No way to fix it, nothing to do but let it grow out and go back to my old hairdresser from now on. I tried this place because I had just moved from 30 miles away and didn't want to drive that back far but it will be worth it. Not only did they just cut what they wanted with no regard for what I had asked for but then charged $30 more for the shampoo & blow dry! I was not told this on the phone when I verified the price nor was it on their website the day I made the appointment. I have never heard of a nice salon doing that, only the $10 haircut places charge separately for a shampoo & dry. I will not be going back there and cannot recommend it to anyone unless you just want a surprise haircut and you should be prepared to pay $30 more than the cut price. My old hairdresser charges a little more than a third of what Tiramisu charges and she does a great job and gives me what I ask for. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could - beware of this place. I am a white ethnic mix and have big spiral type curls and have had keratin treatments done before without any problems, and purchased a Groupon for a keratin treatment from Tiramisu Salon. Checked out their website before buying Groupon and it says they use GK Juvexin (Global Keratin) which I've had before so all looked good. Went in for appointment with Tiffany and the salon was empty except for one other person (on a Saturday afternoon at that) - that should have been my first sign. They sprayed in the keratin (unlike the bowl and brush I always had) and it entire process took about 45 minutes including the wash, keratin application, blow dry and flat ironing. Asked about the spray and time and was told this is the 'new advanced method' and not to worry. My hair looked nice when I left but 3 days later (I always wait an extra day to make sure it sets completely) and after my first wash my hair was just slightly less curly than before. I called GK to ask about this 'spray on' application and after speaking with their product rep was told that it sounded like they used the Fast Blowdry, and the rep recommended that I call back and talk to the salon. I did speak with the manager, Alreck (sp?) and went over everything and that I waited 3 days, used GK shampoo and conditioner, but my hair definitely does not look like I just had a keratin, and Alreck told me that according to their records, they applied the GK 'Resistant' keratin treatment to my hair and could not guarantee results unless I purchased their shampoo and conditioner but when I mentioned that I spoke to GK about it he then offered to have me come back in to retreat my hair. I was hesitant but had verified with GK that another treatment would not harm my hair unless my hair was already badly damaged, so went back and this time was serviced by Mimi. Again I should have been concerned that there were only 2 stylists and just 1 customer when I walked in early afternoon midweek. Mimi again applied a spray-on keratin and the entire process took less than an hour. They had no GK shampoos or conditioner for sale, but only VUM, which I looked up on the internet and could not find any information on so I think it's just their own as the company is located locally, so I declined to purchase their product and was told they could not guarantee results if I'm not buying their product (I had just purchased brand new GK Balanced Shampoo and Conditioner). Again, my hair looked great when I walked out, waited 3 days again before washing my hair, and the result is that my curls are loose in some areas (finer hair around my face) but not much everywhere else (especially just as curly in the back at bottom near my neck, which was always the curliest). Called GK back because I wanted to get their take on this and I specifically asked if they endorsed this spray-on application method and they do NOT. Also spoke with 2 reputable salons and they had never heard of a spray on keratin treatment. So you be the judge. There is a reason that this is the only salon doing spray-on applications (no matter how good their sales pitch is about it). Go to www.gkhair.com and watch GK's video on how the keratin is applied and you'll see the correct application method. There is a reason that the salon is always empty (on a Saturday at that). And there is a reason that I've had 2 treatments within 2 weeks and my hair is almost as curly as before). If Tiramisu Salon is using GK's product, it's a diluted version and definitely NOT as effective as it should be. I've learned a valuable lesson - you get what you pay for. read more
