Came here on Independence Day for dinner and to watch the fireworks. It was super busy area so hard to find parking but we made it lol. The views of the fireworks over the water were lovely. It was a fun night and we really enjoyed the holiday here. Food and drinks were good

My favorite summer place!! Have to get there early to get a seat as it gets very busy! I had the most attentive waiter! I wish I got his name because he was fabulous! Drinks and food were yummy as always!!

Great time on the rooftop celebrating with friends! The tables are a bit small so don't order more than 2 items . We had delicious frozen drinks and shared some apps. The weather was beautiful and we watched boats on the dock. The umbrellas are a nice touch. The restaurant sways a bit so be mindful if you are seasick!

I love love love this spot! It's absolutely adorable! The drinks are yummy and the staff is personable. It's the perfect ambiance for a sunny summer afternoon or at sunset!

Our server Ashley was exceptional and truly made our time at the Tipsy Seagull a wonderful experience. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout our visit. When we had an unfortunate incident with an umbrella in the upstairs booth area that came loose and scratched my arm, Ashley went above and beyond. She immediately came to our aid, bringing ice, offering a complimentary drink, and ensuring the umbrella was properly secured. We will absolutely be back because of her outstanding service and hope to see a solution in place to keep the umbrellas safely secured for future visits.

Honestly my buddy wanted to come here for his birthday, and we were skeptical about coming here due to the reviews but I'm so glad we did! It's literally a pub on a dock, and it serves the vibes you would expect. They do have a dress code which seems to target men specifically, which we found a bit odd lol. Fair warning there isn't ample parking and you will have to work with what's available on the nearby streets. We got lucky with seating upstairs in a comfy, spacious booth! We hung out here for a couple hours. The views were amazing, and it was so much less crowded up there! I can imagine on those warm summer nights this place would be very packed. The service was amazing, our waitress was extremely attentive, and checked in on us numerous times! She immediately took our drinks/appetizer orders, and they came back out almost instantly. We ordered: Shrimp Cocktail- HUGE clean, fresh shrimp, with lemon and amazing cocktail sauce. What a refreshing app- I was sad when it was over! Buffalo Chicken Dip- Came out hot, with plenty of vessels to dip into it- veggies, pita bread and chips! It was DELICIOUS! Margarita Pizza- Hot, greasy, cheesy goodness! It tastes better than it looks! Pastrami Rueban & Steak Sandwich both come with Cape Cod chips. For drinks we got an espresso martini, vodka redbull, frozen strawberry banana daiquiri , pineapple mule, coconut margarita. All the drinks were SO STRONG (how we like it) but tasted amazing, the bartender deserves a kiss! For ALLLLLLL that the bill was only $150. Honestly this was such a great little hang out spot, and we loved the live performances! I'll definitely be back!

Service was great. Pet friendly eating until 5pm is why we went. The ambiance was quiet since we went at open and when leaving more people started to dock their boats. I really enjoyed the food, we got a steak quesadilla. Got one drink and the price was ok, but got a really good view.

Been here a couple times. Good place to grab a drink outside by the water. The staff is nice and the selection is decent. The food is "meh" and the place could be a bit cleaner. Overall we will be back.

Misogynistic, racist, homophobic, and a bizarre "dress code" for men only. This outdoor "floating" dockside bar on the water only caters to straight white men (dressed appropriately with sleeves) and women who are seen as "whores" and without bras or panties (so the signs say...) It was 90F outside on an August day, and we arrived around 5pm. Sat at the bar, we each ordered a drink. Our drinks came. We each took a sip. A few minutes later, the bartender comes up to us asking if I have a shirt to put on because they have a "no tank top dress code." I politely and quietly went to my car to get a t-shirt (thankfully I had one), but when I arrived back at the bar, I pointed out the fact that so many women at the bar had tube tops on, crop tops, and any other kind of top without sleeves on. Its a hot summer day, so why does the bar have a problem with men's shoulders but not with women's? The bartender said "I know, it's an old rule...." I would have been fine with their "dress code" if it was told to us BEFORE WE ORDERED and if it was applied to everyone, men AND women included. I also saw a black male asked to leave to put on a shirt, but when we were there, a straight white male came in wearing a tank top, sat down, and enjoyed a drink/meal without ever being asked to leave to put on a shirt. Many of their signs are derogatory towards women, and one of their signs even says "no shirt, no problem." See photos. We will not be returning to the Tipsy Seagull as we will not be supporting an establishment that is misogynistic, racist, and homophobic. Plus, they only serve their drinks in plastic cups...yet they ask select men to wear a shirt instead of a tank top. They could at least step it up and serve drinks in proper glassware. Dont go.

A stroll down the dock to get here and we found adorable lights and cute seating on this little boat/ dock restaurant and bar. Upon arrival I was excited, although their dress code made me feel like it was racially targeting people. I hope that's not the case but I don't really understand why it is what it is. Saw several white guys breaking the dress code so it didn't seem to be enforced, at least not for them. We ordered and got our food MINUTES later. At first I was impressed but then immediately concerned on how this could be possible. We were served a pizza that was clearly microwaved. The drinks were expensive and sweet/ low alcohol content. I ordered a caesar salad and the croutons were awful tasting, I didn't even know it was possible to make bad croutons. My friend ordered the tuna tacos and the ridiculous amount of sauce was clearly covering the fact that the fish was not fresh. I was very excited to go to this place, and it's very cool, as far as views but I wouldn't go back.

Kayleigh, the singing bartender!!!
Kerri L.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at this cool waterfront bar in early September. Kayleigh, our bartender, was full of personality and even serenaded us at one point! The drinks were on point; I especially enjoyed their mudslide. The food was typical pub fare, and the prices were reasonable. They also had a live band the day we went. What would make this place even better is if they added a few healthy food options to the menu. Other than that, it's a great time, especially if Kayleigh happens to be your bartender!

Went here to meet some of my family members. Seriously? 25+? I'd understand if it was 21+ but 25 and over is ridiculous.

The name of the brewery is a reference to the historical name of Fall River. Although originally founded under the name "Fall River" in 1803, the town changed its name to "Troy" the following year and eventually changed it back in 1834. Carvalho started a home brewing club in Fall River in 2006. In 2017, Troy City brewing was founded as a home brewing entity when Carvalho joined forces with Ferreira. Eventually they would move in at a historic textile mill and opened their taproom to the public a year later. Together with nearby Canned Heat Craft Brewing, Troy City Brewery brings the brewing industry back to Fall River for the first time since 1963. My wife and I first visited Troy Cory in October 2019. We were in town for the day to visit the home of Fall River's most infamous citizen: Lizzie Borden!! After visiting some spooky sites around town, we decided to check out Fall River's local craft brewery scene. When we arrived, they were having a Halloween costume party in the taproom (which was totally fine with us). I ended up sampling four beers: the Rail Trail Cranberry Lager, the TCB Test IPA, Maplecroft (Maple Syrup Porter), and Gage Hill (Toasted Marshmallow Chocolate Porter). The last one was my favorite and it came with a cinnamon-sugar rimmed glass. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our visit to Troy City. If you're planning on visiting any spooky Lizzie Borden sites in Fall River this Halloween season, make sure to visit Troy City Brewing.

We were blown away by how chic and pretty this place is. The wall paper was beautiful, the ceiling was unique, the bar and wine display was gorgeous, the colors of the chairs and napkins were really pretty, and the art was gorgeous. Ambiance is very elevated! We had an app and two very different entrees. Taylor devoured her salmon, and said everything was tasty! I had the pistachio chicken pasta dish. It was massive! I literally have leftovers for days! The dish was one of the best pasta dishes I've had all year. It was so flavorful! I was torn at what to get, and def made the right choice thanks to Milton's recommendation. We each had a tasty cocktail and a glass of white that met our individual preferences! We ended our meal with a decaf coffee drink that was so good! It was adorable too! This place has a wonderful menu and an amazing dinner for two deal! I am so glad I checked out this spot after it just reopened! I highly suggest giving it a go!

We do try to make a reservation for brunch, as I know there's usually a wait. I will say that the decor in the tipsy is one of its biggest drawers. Whoever is decorating, definitely knows what they're doing! The fireplace at the center of the restaurant is always tastefully decorated for the season. I absolutely love it! I had quite a few other $20 lobster rolls specials this summer. The amount of lobster that they give you for $20, and being able to pick your side is one of the best deals around. Not to mention the quality of the food for the $20. My Caesar salad was absolutely delicious too! The other picture I posted is one of my favorite salads that they used to make with the goat cheese "arancini". I really do miss that side, so hopefully they'll bring a back one day. It was quite the meal!

I ordered the boneless wings and they were very tasty. I didn't particularly like my cocktail (it had fig liqueur in it) and the waiter was super nice and took it off the bill. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was amazing. Must have this again, I will literally go back just for this. The next time was on a Wednesday night and they had martini specials. I had a espresso martini to start and it was okay - tasted on the weaker side. I don't like the glasses they serve the martinis in, they are stemless and seem to not hold as much alcohol. It was packed as they were having some type of Halloween karaoke, which we didn't know about. Our waitress was a bit hard to get ahold of and she moved very quickly without making sure everyone at the table had what they needed which was a bit off putting. She was nice but not the most attentive. They made me a drink based on some preferences (blood orange, gin, lime, soda water) I gave them, but I asked that it come with no ice. It is pictured in this review, and unfortunately did come with quite a lot of ice. They apparently only have two cocktail glasses - the ugly stemless martini glasses and a margarita glass. That's really surprising for a bar that has a full cocktail menu because the glassware really doesn't suit a lot of the cocktails being served. That drink was fine but also tasted pretty weak. They always decorate based on the holiday and it looked really cool with jack o lanterns everywhere, and a lit fireplace. This is definitely a bar you go to for the atmosphere, not the drinks. I would go back for the sticky toffee pudding and sit upstairs, but the drinks were a major disappointment both times.
