I initially came here on a Groupon because there are so many nail salons to choose from. But I've come back because: - the owner and her staff are attentive, nice people - the location is convenient to many of the places I go - her pedicures are amazing! You get a wonderful massage with your pedicure - finally the polish job is really good. I rarely get shellac as it strips my nail bed but I find the look of regular polish is not as good as shellac. But their polish is amazing and stays shiny and no chips for weeks. Definitely check them out! read more

Walked in with claws, walked out with royalty-level talons. The service was so good I considered proposing to my nail tech after she finished my shoulder massage. Prices so reasonable I checked twice to make sure I wasn't accidentally part of a reality show. Ambience? Soft music, cozy vibes, and not a single aggressive air freshener in sight. I came for a wax, manicure and pedicure but stayed for the mini vacation. 10/10, would let them file my fingers forever. read more

The WORST nail place ever, nothing beats this to be honest. Came here as I purchased their groupon with a girl friend of mine. The most autritrious place and the lady who maintains it nothing but disgusting. Here's what happened- 1. We come in 15 mins before the appointment, the lady was talking on the phone. We asked her if she can start doing for one of us, only to be looked and stared. Another staff was attending a lady, I asked her politely if she can remind the owner that we have come, been waiting and its oir appointment time. She spoke to her in her native language, we were stared, not even acknowledged and the lady gets pissed as she had to cut the call. 2. My friend chose a nail paint which was on their counter, she was told it is another customer's, she cant use it. And then the owner lady asks my friend to 'put' the nail paint in the rack. Why the hell would you ask us to do that? My friend obliged and put it back, she was heckled in their native language. 3. The job was done in a most unsatisfying manner, we didnt want to argue and ask for more, just wanted to get done with and leave asap. Once I reached the counter, she loudly DEMANDS us to give a tip to her as we 'used' her services. We were shocked the way the lady reacted and said politely that we didnt feel like as we waited for more than 15 mins post to the appointment time, had to remind her we were present early. She yells at us saying we are rude, she is not and asks us to get out. She is a maniac totally and I wouldnt eber want any womam going through what my friend and I have gone through. I wish her place gets no one ever. read more

I've been looking for a new place near work so I purchased a groupon for a mani/pedi here. I wasn't expecting anything too fancy, just a simple place to get a quick manicure and pedicure, but was a bit disappointed with my overall experience. I made an appointment to ensure that I would be able to get a spot. When I walked in they were pretty full so I had to wait 5 minutes which wasn't a big deal. I sat down in the massage chair, which was comfy. However, as soon as I sat down some others came in, and even though they were busy working on other people they offered to take the people who walked in. This is where things went a little wrong. Because they were taking almost everyone who walked in there were two people who were running back and forth between everyone to work on their nails or give them a wax. This meant you never really got full attention and were left with half a hand manicured while you waited for them to come back to finish the other half. Because they were rushed the manicure was a little sloppy. One of the women was in a hurry to manicure my hand and actually made my index finger bleed a bit from working too hard. Additionally, my nails were not cut evenly and the nail polish started chipping the next day because the top coat was not evenly placed. I ended up being so frustrated I walked out as soon as that top coat was on because they went to go work on someone else and I knew it'd be even longer to wait. I'm hoping they learn how to balance customers a bit better in the future! read more

Wasn't off to a great start, my mom and I had a 630 appointment for pedicures and we had to wait 15 minutes before they even seated us. Both of the workers were busy with customers but they still could've let us sit in the chairs and let our feet soak (and almost all the chairs were open). But in the end the woman that helped both my mom and I was really good, especially when doing the massage. My mom had a Groupon but I decided to pay normally since I was getting gel/shellac. And gosh dang that was the cheapest I've ever paid for a gel pedicure, $33!! She didn't put on the oil that's supposed to nourish my cuticles and skin after she applied the gel, so now my skin in pretty dry, but for that price I'm willing to overlook it. read more

The ladies who did my nails were actually pretty nice but the services they provided was the worst I had ever had. I got 2 Groupons, one for pedi and one for mani. They told me I couldn't use both of them. No problem. So I used the pedi Groupon and asked for just shellac without mani. They charged me $20 just for putting some shellac on my nails. I was late to work so I didn't want to argue. Paid and left. Later I looked at my nails closely. They are TERRIBLE!! My toe nails are crooked, the polish is uneven. Take a look yourself.... this is ridiculous. I'd rather lose my money for the other Groupon than going back there. read more

Since the location is close to my work, I decided to make an appointment and get a pedicure done during lunch. Strangely enough I've never been there before but heard great things! When I walked in, they already had prepared the seat, water was running and all I needed to do was just sit & relax. They turned on some relaxing music right next to me, offered me water & went to work. The girl was very gentle since I have super sensitive feet. There was also an injury on my toe (fell off after I injured it) but she made it look like it was actually semi-normal lol EXTRA POINTS FOR COVERING THAT LITTLE STUMP! Before I left, they inspected my toes and triple checked that it looked good, even corrected some of the toes. They are very sweet, not your typical staff that talk in front of you in their language and you know they're talking about you. CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!!! read more

Great nails and great employees, I can leave my gel nails on for a very long time and they still look amazing. I even took my boyfriend to get pedicures and he had a great time in the massage chairs and watching the Seahawks game. I continue to go here read more

I give 3 stars for my pedi and 3.5 for my shellac. Customer service was weird, when they answered the phone they just said 'hello'? I didn't know if I called the correct place or not. My toes were pretty messy, I'm surprised. My shellac ho-hum. The place is pretty sparse, color on the wall makes me think 1970s, and there is not an ounce of heat on in the joint. I wore my jacket, scarf and hat the entire time. All in all, I probably won't be back. Sorry read more

Fast and quick nail service but too quick. Too quick as in rushed. My friend and I came in on our lunch, so we only had about 30mins to spare each. It was a Tuesday with only two employees working. They sat us down very quick while having one customer in a pedicure chair. My friend and I each got shellac manis which cost us $30 each. Very minimal choice of shellac colors. One of the ladies cut my friend bad and didn't say anything about it. The blood dripping was obvious. Also, they have a big sign in the front on their salon saying "FREE PARAFFIN WAX WITH PEDICURE OR SHELLAC," but we never received paraffin wax. So that's a lie. First time here and probably our last. read more

I would give a zero star if there's an option. I went there today which is my first time. There were only 2 customers with 4 staffs, which. Looks like they are have a mani and padi. When I walked in, the lady who seems to be the owner who asked me what service I want then told me to go pick up the color and hurry up! I was a little surprised then walked to the shelf and picking up the color I wanted. She kept yelling at me to hurry up like I was her employee which was already annoying. And she said she has another appointment coming soon!(You could just tell me that you don't have availability today in a nice way, I would have left and come back another time with appointment. Not like you want all the customers but not taking care of any!) After I picked the colors, she told me to go sit there myself and soak my fingers in the water. I was already very unpleasant at that time. 10 mins later when she came, I showed her the picture of the nails that I wanted on my phone, and asked her if the color I picked are the close enough to the picture. She yelled at me and saying I go pick up my color, she doesn't take care those for a regular mani. Then I pointed at a color from the gel board, she said if you want this color is $15 more. I told her I'm ok with paying extra I just want to have the color that is close to the picture I showed her, then I asked her again if this green is close enough, she threw the sample in front of me and yelled, "you look at it and pick it yourself, I'm busy!" I was really shocked and asked her if she's ok, she sounds like having a really bad day. Then she yelled back and didn't changed any of her attitude. So I just left with half cleaned nails. I would highly suggest any local business to at lease having the right attitude. I don't know how's their skills, but I would never go there do nails again. Also, I'll tell all my girlfriends how bad their service is. read more

Best manicures and pedicures around at a great price! The owner is awesome; so friendly, attentive and good at her craft. Highly recommend!

Wow! These people are very rude. I walked in and didn't have a appointment. My bad for that, Im used to walking in on Groupon salons. Anyway a small lady with reddish hair I think, came out the back abruptly and grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the nail station. Yelling "pick a color"!! I snatched away from her and said "dont touch me". She then told me she had 2 other appointments and come back another time. Out of my 20 years of nail appointments this one was the most horrible. I wont press charges, but be careful of this crazy lady. read more

I really like this place. I live in Kirkland but I drive here for mani/pedi/wax. Their prices are more reasonable than in many other places. Their service is very nice - I love Jennifer!!!! She is so sweet and diligent. The quality is great, and the selection of colors is huge. read more

I just got back from the best pedicure I've ever had! Jenny at Tips and Stones is absolutely the BEST! I went to the same salon in Bellevue for 15 years and was looking for a replacement, but never expected to find service like Jenny offers. You enjoy a wonderful massage chair while you soak in the jetted foot spa followed by a gentle and thorough pedicure. Before applying your color, Jenny gives you an exfoliant scrub, hot stone foot and leg massage, and a hot towel treatment. OMG! And Jenny has a great sense of humor. When I finally inquired about Jenny's price, I could not believe her answer: $25.00. Unbelievable. She is definitely undercharging. I paid her $75.00 for two of us and believe me, it was well worth it! HIGHLY recommend this nail salon. You will not regret it! read more

Great place! It seems that there is a new owner of this place she just started last month. The place was empty when we arrived, looking for something to do as we dropped off clothes next door! We got pedicures. The place was clean and the tools were sanitized, huge plus in my eyes! The nail polish colors could use a bit of organizing and updating but other wise pretty good, many china glaze, opi and a few others. The pedicures were great! I had the owner she was very nice and thorough! They included your usual with a scrub, a hot stone massage and a regular massage. Her massage was fantastic! The massage chairs were also really great! There are 8 pedicure seats and 6 manicure seats with waxing room in the back. As we sat here the place soon filled up which seemed tricky for the 2 workers. They reported they were understaffed since 2 were on vacation. Many of the regulars keep hoping to get Justin not sure who he is but 4 people asked for him while I was here! read more

They did a pretty darn good job on my nails but don't be in any rush here. They kept asking if I needed to be somewhere...all in all a back fill and simple toe polish change ended up taking near 2.5 hours. Plus, the lady burned/scraped up my cuticles and fingers pretty good with her drill. No apologies for making me bleed. My fingertips were throbbing by that evening pretty badly. The look of my nails overall is good. read more

MY NEW FAVORITE!!!! I came here this morning for the first time and got a shellac mani and regular pedi. Both were awesome!! The ladies here are VERY nice and friendly. The salon is very clean and you can tell they sanitize correctly. They were very detail oriented when it came to my nails and spoiled me with nice massages. They massage with scrub, hot stones, and lotion. Very thorough and my nails look fabulous. Pricing is average for a nail salon, not the cheapest but not super expensive. I think the cost is fair for the amount of time they spent on me, and after I left they found me outside with a $5 off coupon since I'd paid with cash. I am thrilled I finally found a good nail place in Bellevue and can't wait to go back and see these sweethearts again! THANKS SO MUCH TIPS AND STONE!!! read more

Good service, nails weren't bad just one nail finger looked different then all others. Not giving 5 starts for their polish. I asked for clear shellac and got ugly plastic clear pink. Asked twice if they will turn clear after application and will not be pink was told YES but nope. read more

My experience was great! I decided it was time to get a Mani-Pedi a few weeks ago when the sun was out in force. The ladies who worked with me were super attentive and very friendly. I came in on a Saturday and they were pretty much empty. I was seated right away. I asked for a shellac manicure. I felt like I had to watch the woman doing my manicure vigilantly because she kept making mistakes. She didn't file my nails so they were all even. She missed the sides of my nails with the clear and colored polish. She didn't let me leave my hands under the light for the appropriate amount of time. I had to correct her over and over again, which does not make for a relaxing experience. Finally, for the hand massage at the end, instead of using the pump to pump out lotion from the bottle and apply it to my skin, she pulled out the lid and smeared product on me with the tube that brings lotion from the bottom of the container out through the pump. This is NOT sanitary!!!! It brings all their cleaning practices into question! I stopped her immediately, wiped the product off with a towel and asked if I could pay and leave. Prices were fair. $25 for a shellac manicure. But I absolutely will not be returning. read more

Enjoyed the basic pedicure. They use Nu Skin products for foot care. Massage and all the pampering routine was very nice. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a pedicure and it was the best pedicure I've ever had! I've never had a salon actually exfoliate and massage my legs/feet for the majority of the pedicure. Great mani pedi. Phenomenal at pink & white. Nails are never bumpy or thick. Owner is an absolute sweetheart!

Loved this place! Unlike some other nail salons I have been to, this one was not super crowded and was much more relaxed. I came in with a Groupon for a pedicure and was amazed by the service. This nail salon is so kind and friendly, great service and they do a beautiful job! Every nail artist here is a perfectionist and takes pride in their work. Justin does incredible acrylics, the best I've seen. They go out of there way with hot stone massages and bringing you drinks. Also their chairs are super comfy :) great place to read a book, relax, and be pampered. My brothers even come with me! And I got my little brother to get a eyebrow wax and it looked great! I walked in on a Sunday morning to get a set of acrylics put on. I'd decided I wanted them that day, and googled a salon that was open on a Sunday and wasn't too expensive. No big deal. I was greeted right away and Jenny had availability without a wait. She did a great job on my mangled up cuticles (new mom = no sleep = nail biting) and was very gentle the whole time. We chatted pleasantly. The shop was clean and inviting. And the pricing was great! I've already booked my next appointment with Jenny and once the sun's out, I'll be doing regular pedicures as well. Top notch! read more

Well my nails did turn out really nice, I got French tip on my toes and French tip acrylics on my hands. My friend and I were the only ones in there when we arrived and we told them everything we wanted done when we arrived. We were there for about 5 hours! they did each of our pedicures and then someone else came in wanting the same treatment, they both left to treat her while we were left sitting at the chairs. We wound up leaving next door to go shopping while we waited and came back about 45 min later just as they were getting done. While one of them kept working on that ladies nails the other lady did my friends nails first. so we were there for a good 3 or so hours by the time they even got to my hands. Yet the lady who came in after us was in and out of there with a full treatment before I was even started. Now I've been nicked by the drill sander before, that's kind of expected. But my cuticles are completely gone! When she started to apply the primer, I had so many open cuts that it stung so bad I thought my fingers were going to fall off. My fingers were so soar the rest of the day I could barely touch anything much less pick anything up. My fingertips felt bruised on the pads and all the way around the sides of my nail. It's now the next day and it still hurts to touch anything, I'm pushing on my already non existent cuticles causing them to bleed all over again. I've never been in so much pain from having my nails done and I paid $80 for everything including a $10 tip... not deserved at all. read more

This is the best nail salon on the Eastside. Jenny and team are very talented and have extreme attention to detail which I appreciate. I most love that they have a large selection of shellac colors to choose from (roughly 100!). I feel extremely comfortable here and love the service. They always ask if I need anything to drink and make sure im doing well. GO TO ROSE NAILS ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!!! I have been contemplating writing this review for a few weeks now. I have been a loyal customer here for over 10 years. In the past few years it has gone through a few new owners and finally the new owner has had it for the last couple years. I went in 2 weeks ago to get a pedicure and a full set removed and redone. I walk in around 6:15 and was very insistent that if it was too late I will leave. She was very very insistent that it is alright, she wants to do my nails. I offered to come back the next day she said no not at all it is okay that we do it tonight. I said okay if you insist. She started removing my acrylics by using a plastic nail tip to slice them off it was very very painful and torturous and I kept asking her if there's any other way she can take my fake nails off as I have sensitive fingers. she told me no because we would be here until 9 o'clock if she removed them the proper way. which if you ask me is not my fault, I'm not asking for a painful service just so she doesn't stay late. I offered to leave and come back the next day if it was too late. no matter how much I was saying how it hurts she just kept going not caring that she was hurting me! I am very upset that she would treat me that way after I had been going to her for so long! They were sore for a week! She was getting upset seeing how long it took to finish my service. She kept asking me if I wanted shellac and ive never had it before but because she kept insisting I said alright, so she painted my nails white and toes white because that's what I wanted (after arguing with me to do an ugly off white color because they will fade- so i should just start w dirty white?)In the end she did a sloppy job long story short she charged me $85 for a pedicure and a full set!! That is outrageous! I looked up at the board to look for the prices and no where did I see $40 for each service. I felt slapped in the face! since I had never had shellac I assumed i just learned my lesson, paid it and left. 2 days later I came back to get my eyebrows done telling myself I will never allow her to touch my fingers again after hurting me for 2 hours. she had the nerve to charge me almost $100 for some white nail polish!! Get out of here! what a rip off!! she knew she ripped me off because when I came in the next day for my eyebrows there were like 10 people in there and she looked at me and with so much surprise in her voice she said Wow you came back??!?! Like she was shocked after ripping me off that I would ever come back in there!! as if she purposely overcharged me to never have to deal with me again?! That is outrageous to me and disgusting I have never been so upset at a business before especially after giving them my money for such a long time. So after being shocked that i returned for brows a couple days later her white shellac had faded to yellow Brown and she tried telling me it was because I color hair because I'm a hairstylist I told her I haven't worked since you've done my nails and I definitely didn't do any ones hair color so don't blame it on me that you have such bad quality nail polish that you have no shame to charge me almost $100 for!I had one of her employees names IVY do my nails a few months ago and she did such a great job that I tipped her $20 well the owner I forgot her name my think it's Jenny? I don't know, she was so bent out of shape and visibly jealous that I tipped ivy so much. Awkward!! all she could talk about is how she didn't just want my money I mean how awkward your making me feel bad that I tipped one of your employees well? Is that why u overcharged me this time? Think I'm a millionaire? Like she was mad that I'd never tipped her that much because she always rushes and does a sloppy job so why should I? I wasn't going to write any of this because I still wanted to go to her for my eyebrows but that day when I did go back in for my eyebrows she did such a horrible job!! There were bald spots!and when she gave me the change for my 20 since the eyebrows were 10 she gave me two fives then grabbed one of the fives out of my hands and gave me 5 ones like how obvious that you want to tip?! was awkward once again so I just gave her a couple bucks and walked out. I was so infuriated! I was like that's it I will never, ever return here! Ever! no matter how desperate I am for my nails to get done! I found a place across the way thank God it's called Rose nails salon and spa! its right across the way. so cute they have chandeliers and neon lights and treat you like a goddess and their full sets are only like 20 bucks! Newly remodeled and new owner! such a better price! such better quality! And they actually have new updated cute nail polish colors not like this place with their old ass boring colors from 20 years ago that turn Brown. read more

Decided to have a girls night while my sister and cousin were in town visiting. I found this place via yelp and was so glad I did. We had wonderful experience! Great service and I loved the hot stone massage that came with both the pedicures and manicures. The wax itself was perfectly fine. The waxer was very detail oriented which I appreciated.
