For whatever reason, this year has been a real challenge for me with boat problems, either the person I bought it from knew it had problems and did not disclose them - or just had impeccable timing, or unbeknownst to me, I am actually the patron saint of bad luck boating. Add to this fact that due to a nasty divorce I only get to see my son every other week (and he loves being on the boat), when mechanical issues arise, it puts huge pressure on me to get things fixed, and fixed fast. Well, if you go to any boat mechanic in the area looking for fast service, most will just laugh, and probably point to their backload of unfinished work. Boat repair in this area is in high demand, and there is clearly a shortage of quality mechanics. Quality Auto & Marine has been a Godsend to me. Their work is impeccable, their rates reasonable, and their turnaround outstanding. I love these people. The shop owner even took me aside when a problem became a recurring one, and point blank told me it was my fault because I was overdriving the boat. He said he would be happy to keep fixing it, but knew I was getting frustrated. Now I was taken aback by that at first, but you know what? He didn't have to do that AND HE WAS 100% CORRECT which in the long run saved me hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars. I appreciate that candor and professionalism. I cannot speak to their auto repair services, but if you need your boat serviced, I cannot recommend them more highly. Great people and professional, affordable service.

The only quote I received only had balances and not the individual services. While I pointed this out, I still had to pay the price increase which was a more than 10% bump in my project. The lower rating is for what I feel is poor customer service. Not my issue if you can't quote the project correctly and I had no way of knowing what was on the quote. As i said, the truck looks great but if you do business with the CDA store, make sure you have everything in writing before hand or be prepared for the bait and switch. Even worse that this was a referral from a long time customer.

After spending over $25,000.00 in extensive repairs to our…read more31ft boat, we got our boat back and the windlass (electronic anchor system), and fresh water system no longer worked. They forgot to re-connect the main power line to the windlass which I found and fixed myself. Then we were told we needed a new fresh water pump. I took another look myself. In fact they had knocked the main water inlet fitting loose which caused an air lock in the pump. I fixed that myself too by purging the system. We don't need a new pump! We were never provided with an original work order estimate. After all the work was done we received a difficult to read report which was sparsely itemized. We had to return the boat so many times, it was embarassing! One of the original things they were supposed to fix and never did was oil in the bilge. We still have oil in the bilge! I had asked the owner if he would meet with my wife and me. He ignored our request for two weeks. Finally, he had someone from the office call to tell us that they were not going work on our boat any more! There is much much more to this story! We cannot recommend this company!

My Audi had a misfire and I narrowed it down to the #4 injector. I ended up taking them all out and…read moresending them to Mr. Injector before I left for a trip. They were 2 weeks out on their website and that lined up with when I would get back from my trip. The day after I got back they arrived in the mail. I reinstalled them and did a port cleaning. Aside from the misfire being gone there was a noticeable difference in acceleration and idle. The report I received was detailed and included pre and post cleaning flow rates. Mr. Injector was also very responsive via email and was easy to work with. I definitely recommend them and their prices are very reasonable considering how expensive new injectors for my car would be.
