This Establishment has been around for many years. Location is practical. except Sundays. I go here whenever i need Indo items or if i just miss indo food. Price is not overpriced, the price is well balanced. We are not getting paid in Rupiah, we get paid in Dollars. It makes sense. If you want cheap Indo stuff, why dont you go to Indonesia, bring back some items and do your calculation on the whole thing including air fare. Gila ya. Kl banyak komplain, blanja saja di toko madur. The staffs are very nice. They help on whatever you need. I never come across an expired item, only in Hawaii super market. Even if they do have expired item, let them know so in the future they will be more aware.Anyways, they also help me out on RIA, which is Transfer money service. Quick and no hassle. Keep up the good work guys. Expand the place, or maybe put a small restaurant . Just an Idea..cheers read more

Overpriced, but I'll gladly pay to get Indonesian goodies and products when the cravings hit. Definitely love the catering foods that are available during the weekend. Owners are super kind and helpful. read more

This is Indonesian like a small door, snack store. On Saturday and Sunday, they have varieties of Indonesian ready to eat food. I love to buy their food. Feels like never left my original authentic country. As a human being, once in a while, we do missed our original country dishes. The Service of every one always with smile. They have 2 others store: West Covina and Walnut. read more

I found out about that store when I went to its West Covina location. This location is actually closer to me so it makes more sense for me to come here. Funny how West Covina store didn't know the address for San Gabriel store when I called. You only have 2 stores so I assume you know your other location. The sevice is a lot friendlier than West Covina store. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. They accept credit card but I think over $20 (?) Same products as West Covina store but they also sell indonesian rice dishes, risoles, and other desserts. read more

I used to go here every once in a while for their ready to eat food with some decent selection. *COVID-19 update:Then as of couple of months ago, I found out from the cashier/manager herself that not only she doesn't wear a mask, but she hasn't vaccinated. As a store owner who has going to interact with patrons day in and day out, I feel very unsafe and irresponsible thing to do especially when we all trying to reach herd immunity. read more

Tip Top Mart - International Grocery Near Me - Rosemead, California

There is very few stores we can go to, to buy products of Indonesia. Having this small mart open near my neighborhood is a blessing. Any dry goods you can think of that you need to make Indonesian food, you can get it here at Tip Top. The people here are friendly and can speak Indonesian or English. On most days, especially Saturday they offer fresh food from local cooks. You can purchase from savory foods like nasi bungkus or satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious desserts. Like mentioned on the other reviews, they don't take credit card unless its more than $15 (I think). read more

I bought 12 different kind of Indonesian ready to eat wrapped foods. I was very disappointed with the taste of some of them, the rice cake soup with beef rendang was tough to chew, too salty on the 2nd soup on this one. Rice mixed with veggies, a bit of meat and hot sauce, the meat was way too sweet. Overall I can't give more than 2 stars read more

Good place to find bumbu and instant noodles, plus ready-to-eat Indonesian meals and desserts. The only drawback for me is that it's a bit of a drive! read more

one of the few places in LA to grab your Indonesian groceries. price is slightly higher than regular supermarkets, but you get the convenience of one-stop-Indonesian-groceries. located in a corner of a plaza, parking is easy to find. On weekends normally they sell cooked food that you can buy and reheat at home. this is the closest Indonesian market from where i live, so yeah i have been going to this place for years lol. i think they have another store located in West Covina in the HongKong Plaza. could be wrong though. read more

Lengkap produk2 indo nya. Cuma 1 yg saya gak suka, owner perempuannya sgt tdk bersahabat. Bukan senyum yg didapat tp cara memandang customer yg masuk ke toko nya dr atas mpe bawah. Mungkin kl sy berpakaian bak artis blink2, baru dpt senyum yah. Atau mungkin dia sedang dateng bulan, menopouse maybe? ya udahlah yah read more

A last place that I would go with few reasons: 1. No customer services skill 2. Over price better go to Indonesia koperasi 3. Buy fresh foods from another places rather than the cooked from the store. read more

Great place to go on the weekends to get Indonesian food and supplies. Super friendly owner and I support those that value my business.

This market is rarely open at 10 AM. I like the market, but do not expect the market to be open at 10 in the early morning.

Come here on weekends for variety of authentic Indonesian cooking and snacks. The store is small but have good selections. Nothing seems to be expired either. They staffs were very nice. They provide a table at the back of the store to eat the snacks you've purchased. Even gave us free drinks after big purchase! The gesture is certainly appreciated, especially on flaming hot days! If you find 'nasi bungkus' get it! For $6 to $8, you'll get rice wrapped in banana leaves with a variety of side dishes. read more

Indonesia grocery. They have all things that you need. The best Indonesian grocery.

Tip Top Mart is an Indonesian/Asian market sharing the same strip mall as Luscious Dumplings. My bf and I strolled through here. This place has a wide number of items-from unusual to common place. It sells Durian ice cream, Indonesian spices, Japanese sweets and pre made food. I really enjoyed browsing through here. read more

Great selection of Indonesian cooked food, spices and snacks. They have lunch boxes on Saturday and Sunday. They have appetizers (fried tofu, chicken sticky rice rolls), coconut banana leaf rice, rendang beef, combos, fried noodles and more . The fried chicken mushroom noodles (Mie ayam jampur @ $7.50) is my favorite and it comes with a soup. Prices are reasonable and food taste great.. Parking is good. This in the same plaza with Phoenix and luscious dumpling. Glad I got introduced to this place as we used to go duarte inn outdoor for Indonesian previously. This is my go to spot for delicious take out Indonesian food. They also have a tip top market in West Covina Hong Kong market plaza. If you want Indonesian food with great selections, tip top mart is the place to go to! read more

For those of you who miss Indonesian foods/snacks, this is a good place for you. I'd say the place is nice, except that you need to be careful since some of the goods are expired (I spotted some). Great place to buy the Indonesia food , Every good service and nice boss ! We are always coming here every weekend!

Super busy on Saturday and Sunday especially at noon when they are loading up their indonesian cooked food boxes. I would say 70% of the food boxes are a hit...every now and then you do get a dud. Also one of the few places to load up on Indonesian sauces, ingredients and snacks. Highly recommended read more

2 things to try: stuff fried tofu and durian mooncake. Go on weekends only. Preferably Saturdays.

My coworker suggested this place and I'm so glad she did. This small grocery store has pretty much anything Indonesian. If you miss Indo snacks you definitely should come here. I got a lot of snacks that I ate as a kid, so it definitely brought back some great childhood memories. They also have a great selection of bumbu2 indo, keripik/kerupuk, saos2 botol, instant noodles, desserts, etc. They are known to have fresh Indonesian dishes made on Saturdays and they also sell tempeh. Owner was very nice and welcoming. Give it a try! read more

My go to store when buying indonesian grocery. Fairly priced. They have variety choices of cookies loving it.

This was a pretty interesting little Indonesian market. If I were not eating at the dumpling place next door I would not have known it ever existed. My friend mentioned she saw a sign that said they had durian ice cream. So I got one since no one else like it but I should have gotten the whole box because it was pretty tasty especially on a hot day. They had a variety of food and desserts pre-made and ready for you to take and eat at home. There was ice cream, a bunch of fried items, mysterious meats, and cakes. I was tempted but I was so full and it was so busy in there I didn't really get a chance to ask them what was what and what other durian items they had for me. But I did find a durian flavoring, crackers, and other snacks that looked tempting to me like prawn chips and sweet oat chips. The owners of the store seemed very friendly so I would probably return and try some of the food and snacks and definitely more ice cream. read more

I brought my partner here who's mom is Indonesian and it was so special to be able to pick out spices and snacks and foods from Indonesia. I haven't gotten to eat the prepared dishes made here yet but I can't wait to come back and try. I wish there were more Indonesian shops in LA, thank you for existing! Thank you! read more

Very friendly service, cooked food on weekends and a nice fairly comprehensive selection of Indonesian market goods make this a great place to do some weekend shopping after you get your dumpling fix at one of the great places next door. Their food is old and stale. Not crispy. Bad customer service. Took too long. Sold me EXPIRED MEDS! This is ridiculous. Expired since last year. To top it off, they take forever to answer the phone. The cashier lady is rude. No customer service skill whatsoever. Talk over you, give an attitude. I was waiting in line and there was a guy in front of me ordering $70 worth of food, and the lady made me wait. He was on the phone with some lady and was going back and forth the line, HOLDING UP THE LINE. And the cashier lady still didn't help me out. It is ridiculous. Not even say '' thank you for waiting or sorry for the wait'' , NOTHING. Rude, ridiculous. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. They are OVERPRICED AND MAKE SURE LOOK AT THE EXPIRATION DATE, because they sell expired meds. STAY AWAY!!! read more

They have complete Indonesian groceries and food specially on Saturday. Good selection for you if you craving Indonesian food and lazy to cook. The things that I didn't like the owner not appreciated customer who spent some buck there event just a little $, he made a comment in his native language with someone else there, that we just spent less than $100. Well lucky I stop by at your store other wise you can't survive with your store. Please appreciate every little penny to whoever spent the money at your store! read more

Hidden gem inside a shopping center. I was introduced to this place my Pauline T. I stopped by here to pick up some food. I had the vermicelli noodles the last time and feel in love with them. Too bad they don't have food during the week because its a great option when I don't feel like cooking. All the food that is ready is in individual to-go containers. I wish I knew what was in each of them. I picked up the vermicelli and a sate. When i got home I warmed up the food and it tasted just how I remembered from the last time. The sate came with rice cake and peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was really good. You can tell it was home made. I walked around the store and it looks like they have tons of imported dried stuff and spices. Overall, this place is a cute and good little mom and pop store. read more

Overpriced and some of what they sell are stale (maybe except for the cooked food). Bought some snacks and they tasted old and crisp is gone

Love Saturdays here! Good fresh homemade authentic food and snacks omg. I spend like $40-$80 each time haha. I appreciate the spices and the homemade taste. Beats any restaurant food. Their fried tofu is so bomb with cabbage and veggies in the middle. read more

This is such a unique specialty market located in San Gabriel. I came here before because I was specifically looking for Indonesian tea. I wandered in a couple of weeks ago on a weekend and they had a lot of prepared foods available but I didn't really know what was what so I ended up not getting anything but came back this past weekend to try some of the prepared foods. There is a good amount of choices. I would have to say that the food I purchased was very home-cooked. I've been to two Indonesian restaurants and I would say that the food wasn't as good as a sit-down restaurant but the price was pretty much what you would pay at a restaurant. The large fritters were a miss, looked Indian pakora on steroids but it was a deep-fried vegetable ball inside of tofu, not really appetizing, the round fried ball was also a miss (kind of on the sweet, spicy side), eggrolls were OK but you could pass on these. I did really like the oval shaped fried thing. It was ground meat inside of a rice ball. I also got their beef rendang (not bad, but not amazing either), pork skewers (these were OK but I wouldn't get them again since they were a bit tough and chewy). I did really like the matabak telur, kind of reminded me of spanokopita/borek. It was definitely nice trying different things than what I usually eat as Indonesian cooking combines spices in a very interesting way. read more

Great little Indonesian / asian store, I usually buy some of their rice dishes which is kind of hit or miss, so I won't recommend them, their indonesian snacks though seems to be almost always good and fresh, they only have them on the weekend though, the other thing that I usually get is box noodle which they have a very large selection and they always have my daughter's favourite flavor, another thing is the kerupuk ( white noodle chips ), I usually get the "kukagumi" brand, couple months ago I found out that the "rotary" brand actually has a little more taste and crunchier. They also have "teh botol" and "teh kotak" which is Indonesian tea that's really good especially in sizzling summer days. If you come on the weekday parking isn't so tough unless you come around lunch time cause there are plenty of small restaurants in this complex but if you come on the weekend, parking can be really really hard to find. And to confirm Maggie C's review, the credit card minimum is $ 20. read more

My favorite Indonesian market. They have an excellent selection of Indonesian food items, ingredients, even Batik shirts! Some Dutch items are also sold here (I am Dutch Indonesian) so this was a welcome surprise. On weekends hey have ready made food available to purchase. What I like most about this market is the owners are some of the kindest people I have met. Many times offering me advice on Indonesian food and where too find ingredients. read more

Love this place coz it has the most complete indonesian food every saturday. Check it out guys!

This is a very small market, smaller than a liquor store. Its pretty clean though. For a small store, it is loaded with Indonesian ( and some Dutch things too!) products that you can't find in your typical Asian markets. It seems like it is a small family run operation. They don't have a specific closing time but they're nice about letting you know that you can call them ahead of time if you plan on coming in later. I didn't get to try their premade lunches bc I came around 3pm-I hope to come back and try them as there are lots of good reviews for that! read more
