Plenty of parking in a shared parking lot. Welcoming auntie and uncle. Guaranteed friendly customer service with over 17 years of experience and counting. We had a blast shopping for ourselves and relatives for their typical titipan. Bumbu2 and anekah cemilan yang jarang ditemukan. We found everything at this store and some more! We even got ourselves some treats for us after shopping at the back. There's some more snacks.

the freshness might not be at par but the taste was pretty good! i noticed on one of the food boxes it said a different indonesian restaurant on there, i wish i took a pic but just beware! overall, everything was still good & i'll be down to try it again. ambiance: packed with so much goodies & is giving major market vibes

So we were at one of my favorite banh mi joints, Hue Thai Bakery, when we noticed the Indonesian market across the plaza was open. So we went over and checked it out. As with most Indonesian markets, they had a vast array of prepared foods available. The nice folks at the market recommended a couple of items and we made our purchase. When we got home we followed their instructions and warmed the dishes up. Both of them were absolutely delicious! I've gotten similar dishes from other Indo markets but they were not as good as these. Taste was 5 stars but where I took one away from was the price. $15 for four average sized skewers seemed high. I believe the prices for each prepared dish are set by the ones who made them so next time we'll check out other offerings as well and see how those prices are. But all in all the food was absolutely delicious and we will be back.

Great Indonesian grocery market with all the right provisions for your Indonesian, Malaysian and Southeast Asia grocery needs. Lots of yummy snacks, spices and groceries in the small space at really great prices. Some Indonesian bakery favorites and drinks too. Very friendly family owned and run.

Tip Top Mart's new location on Garvey Ave. between Walnut Grove & Rosemead.

They moved from their Las Tunas location a month ago. Theyre now on Garvey Ave between Walnut Grove & Rosemead Bl. in Rosemead. It's in a new strip mall complex. The owners are very welcoming. Same great products, a refrigerated section, and now a little kitchen in the very back where they make their to-go foods. I'm looking forward to going back to visit them again!

This is a small little Indonesian market that serves up some premade affordable meals along with some of your basic Asian needs such as chips. Staff is really nice and the food that I got was great.

Traced the original expiration date on the package.

I drove all the way from San Diego to buy krupuk and was so excited that they carry the NY Siok brands. I bought Krupuk Udang (shrimp crackers), krupuk ikan (fish crackers) and belinjo udang. I am very upset that the expiration dates printed on the packages have been removed, and new 2023 dates labels were stick on top to cover them. They have all expired. It is against the consumer right law to tamper with packaging expiration dates. These crackers are not cheap $20, $17 and $12; $50 of expired products!!! I tried calling the merchant but mailbox is full and I can't leave any messages. Buyer beware. Do not trust the new expiration date stickers. Look carefully.

Hot foods in back and price : to go foods up front !

Having gone to mitsuwa and Tokyo central countless times, Tozai really hits the spot when it comes to affordable Japanese food that actually tastes good. My only complaint is that their rice seems a bit overcooked. It's too mushy for my liking. Teriyaki chicken - extremely generous with the rice. The teriyaki chicken actually has a char taste to it which adds so much flavor to the chicken. There isn't too much teriyaki sauce, which I like. Tempura bento - really loved the tempura in here. Everything was fried just right. The batter is crispy and light. It's not greasy at all. The side dishes were delicious. The fried wontons were good but the fried shumai had a bit of a porky taste to it. California rolls - probably the best I've had in a Japanese market. The rice actually has a slight vinegar taste to it, which is lacking at other places. Croquette - it's meatless but still so good. It's potato only but has an occasional cheesy fragrance to it. Definitely coming back again for the food

The parking lot is huge but still seems inadequate for the number of cars/patrons in the area. The GW Supermarket is "open" so there's no walls separating market from other business stalls. The area has a bakery, trinket shops and a food court that well liked by customers. I see streams of people weekdays and weekends. What I liked was finding some special edition Yeo Chrysanthemum drinks linking to Chinese New Year (very cute) and sales on lucky red envelopes. The Great Wall is smaller than other Asian supermarkets in the area, which makes everything feel really cramped and crowded. The aisle is tight so movement with two - three carts can be challenging. The selection of variety of anything is limited so I can see the lower-than-normal rating. Overall, GW calls the basics and gives the community another market option rather than driving further into SGV.

So happy that I was finally able to visit this little market!…read more FYI, there's no photos allowed inside (didn't realize until a bit too late, sorry!). There's 1 hour parking in front and coming mid day on a Wednesday, there was no crowd whatsoever. Yes, there's lots of things that you can find cheaper at any other market, but be smart about it, YOU'RE NOT HERE FOR THAT. You're here for the fancy imported stuff that you CANNOT get anywhere else. There were so many interesting Japanese sweets and snacks that I have NOT seen at Tokyo Central, Marukai, Mitsuwa, Seiwa Mart, or Nijiya and that is SAYING A LOT as a weeb who goes to them so, so often. Lots of chips, candies, cookies, etc that I have only seen here. There are LOTS of really fancy, kinda pricey, but super bougie things like $98 rice, $150 (Mother's Day special) crown Japanese melons, wagyu steak cuts, etc. You'd be hard pressed to find some of these things elsewhere without paying the import shipping prices yourself. Some highlights of what I got were: Sakura Matcha Pocky (entire pack of them, much lighter in flavor and slightly sweeter than their regular matcha flavor), Disney lollipops (only 79 cents for these, super cute packaging and nice flavors. PERFECT for my friends who work at Disney and can get almost everything else Disney that isn't from overseas), and spicy hot chips and spicy curry chips (I ate like 3 pieces of these and my dad inhaled the rest of it lol). For produce, I got the Golden Fuji Apples (around $8+), lightly sweet, great color, and very crisp, a $12 cantaloupe like melon (a worker there told me to leave it at room temp for 2-3 more days so it's the best for eating, very sweet, and less seeds & more fruit), and a pack of large Driscoll strawberries (very, very sweet and only slightly tart, great color). There definitely was a language barrier between me and the cashier, but she was super nice, friendly, and helpful. I also got some freebie snacks to try out! Thank you ! Definitely worth stopping by to check out or if you want to splurge on some of the high quality stuff. I'm gonna come back again and see if I can just buy those boxes of Disney lollipops lol...

0!!! This was one of the most disgusting and disturbing experiences I have ever had with a…read morerestaurant. The food appeared contaminated and unsafe, and after eating it, there were serious concerns about food poisoning. No family, especially one with children at home, should ever have to go through something like this. The sanitation conditions seemed horrifying. There were signs of insects and filth, and it felt as if unsanitary conditions existed in every corner of the business. A restaurant that handles food this way should not be allowed to continue operating without a full health inspection. What made this even worse was the staff's attitude. Instead of taking responsibility, they responded with hostility and intimidation. Most shocking of all, there were threats involving immigration status, including statements about cooperating with ICE and having customers deported. That kind of behavior is outrageous, abusive, and completely unacceptable. No business should ever try to silence or intimidate customers this way. This is not just bad service. This is a serious public health and safety concern. I strongly urge the health department and relevant authorities to investigate this business immediately. People deserve to know the truth before more customers, especially children, get sick.
