Reviewing this specifically for the Tiny Coffee Shop attached to the TinyGrocer. Stopped by here after brunch nearby and before walking and shopping along South Congress. We needed a quick pick-me-up and saw the tiny window to order some lattes. Lucky for me, they had matcha available. Their menu was small and concise but they had great options. I ended up getting an iced matcha latte and it was so good! Great spot to grab a quick drink if you want something fast or to drink while you're perusing inside.

Cute little store with lots of interesting options on congress. Friendly service. Sandwich and latte were good; price wise expensive for what you get. However interested in coming back and trying more in the future!

I may be partial to this place because this grocer is in my hood and only a few minutes walk away. This place is kind of like a quaint boutique grocer. Bonus is that they carry a wide variety of unique and hard to find items. Unique foods, unique gifts, unique toiletries, unique kitchen supplies... and that's not even all of it. I've found myself buying things I wasn't even looking for. Some of these things have now become staples in our home. They even have a few beautiful bouquets of flowers at reasonable prices. When I say beautiful I mean like unique flowers....not your average daisy bouquet. I'm feelin' like a broken record over here repeating the word unique lol - but gets my point across. We did recently purchase a freshly made sandwich from their delicatessen. Definitely good flavors but would have liked a little bit more filling substance in the sandwich for the price. Something that some people may consider a negative? Prices may be a little higher than say... going to your chain grocer. But keep in mind, it's not necessarily like comparing apples to apples when it comes to products. Added bonus, they also offer soft serve ice cream cones and sidewalk window service drinks (nonalcoholic and alcoholic alike). So stop on by and get your FroYo & Frose on.

Impressive collection of gifts and also has a deli attached to it. You find the weirdly cute stuff out here. Tim with cute dry anchovies, authentic saffron, blend of tea flavors, unique honey, jar of mustard, pickled peaches? and unusually there's also a deli attached to it in the back. The deli has amazing menu with healthy stuff. They also serve beverages, sandwiches and build your own salads!!

I found this place on Yelp and wanted a quick bite to eat since I didn't have much time to walk around South Congress. I got the Italian Sub and a Vanilla Latte. Be prepared to wait some for the food, they seem to get a lot of online orders. I just looked around the store which was cute with lots of unique products. The sandwich was delicious and super filling. The latte was alright nothing crazy. I sat in the seating area they have outside of the store

Wow! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Their breakfast options are fantastic! Today was our first time eating here, but it definitely won't be our last! We tried the breakfast biscuit sandwich (bacon, egg, cheddar cheese, on a biscuit) and honestly feel it might be the best breakfast biscuit sandwich in Austin. It was that good! The everything bagel w/ cream cheese was perfect. The salmon w/ lox on a salt bagel was fantastic, as well. The lox bagel was a bit on the messy side, but if you're in good company, it doesn't really matter.

Austin, TX. Great place to get a latte on Congress Ave. the espresso is rich and bold and the froth is steamed perfectly. Of the choices available on Congress, this is my favorite. While coffee is brewing we ordered sandwiches for lunch which turned out to be delicious. Made with organic and local ingredients including the meats. I really liked how they grill the bacon for each order, not precook it and put it in a pile. We could not resist the array of pastries and desserts baked on the premises, all very well made. I also grabbed a few kombuchas out of the fridge but they don't stock the cream on top Greek yogurt that I like. A daily stop in the morning when in Austin.

Lipstick on a pig. A well designed grocery store pretending to care about your health by selling non-organic produce. What's the point? Just do the right thing. It's 2025.

The pastrami sandwich was tiny and had hardly any meat on it plus a tiny cup of potato soup $24. Cmon.

5/5 Mum Foods is one…read moreof the most unique BBQ spots in Austin and absolutely worth a visit. While the barbecue is outstanding, the sandwiches are what really stand out. The brisket, pastrami, and cheesesteak sandwiches are all incredible and packed with flavor. The latkes are also a must-order and make a perfect side. Just be sure to get there early, as some of the meats can sell out. If you're looking for something a little different from the traditional Texas BBQ experience, this place delivers.

OVERVIEW: I tried to pick up my online order from Mum Foods, but turns out someone stole my order…read more Bummer, but whatever - this is something that's usually an easy fix. We're human - shit happens, and mistakes are inevitable. But it's how people react that speaks volumes. **What surprised me was how unnecessarily rude the Mum employee was about it.** Orders are left on Mum's counter for DoorDash, Toast, Grubhub, and Seamless customers and delivery drivers to grab without a Mum employee checking order confirmation emails. If someone steals another customer's order, the *normal* response is to confirm I'm really the person who placed the order, then say "Oh sorry about that, looks like someone else took your order. We'll get you squared away with a replacement ASAP. In the meanwhile, could you please contact DoorDash to let them know?" ISSUE: Instead, the employee expediting orders was crazy defensive and rude about a situation that was no way my fault. TIMELINE: - I placed a pick up order via DoorDash at 12pm. I arrived at Mum's pickup area at 12:15pm. - When I tell the employee expediting orders my name, he says "Yeah, it was already picked up," and walks away. - When he returns, I explain I'm the person who placed the order, but I didn't pick it up. - The man says, "Like I SAID, it was already picked up," so I hold up the email on my phone, and say "I can prove I placed the order, but I don't have my food." - He replies, "Yeah, the order was sitting there for a long time. Someone already picked it up." - I tell him "I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this information. I paid for my order, but I don't have any food," and he tells me I need to contact DoorDash. - I tell him "I'll contact DoorDash, but they can only give me a refund. I'd like my food?" Only then does he tells the staff to get me a new order and tells me "LOOK, we're getting you your food." UPDATE: Mum Foods Management replied with a bizarre comment. Mum claimed I was 90 minutes late picking up my order, saying I picked up my order at 2pm. - So which is it? Someone stole my order OR was I too late picking it up? - Their rebuttal may explain why the employee felt justified in being so rude - he incorrectly thought I was late picking up my order. Either way, there's no reason to be rude. - I was NOT 90 minutes late (I have Ring footage of leaving my house at 12:10pm for Mum Foods and returning home at 12:37pm with my order in hand), but Mum's argument is moot either way. If I were hours late, the order should still be there for pick up because the business is supposed to check names. "A 1 star review really hurts a local business like us and I hope you reconsider" - If you don't want a 1 star review, respond with a sincere apology, and don't be rude to customers or lie in your response. "For what its worth we prepared your food twice and obviously lose money in a situation like that" - If you don't want to lose money by preparing an order twice, you should confirm names when people pick up orders.
