The vet we visited in NYC had neglected her symptoms/ glossed over stuff during her evaluation. But!!! When I took her to Orchard Park they were able to spot jaundiced gums for example and other irregularities that indicated something was seriously wrong. The vet was great, they were thorough, referred me to an emergency clinic. Even though her care had been transferred elsewhere they called to check on her state/ how I was feeling. She ultimately didn't make it through that illness due to the lack of care from the original vet here in NY. Orchard Park did all they could to help us, they were courteous and understanding, they rendered as much aid as possible to my Zoie. When she passed I donated some of her meds and food for the stray box they keep to help dogs in need. In my experience, Orchard Park Animal was the best.

She said, you need to register and then stated that all vaccines were required and she named them. She was so abrupt and rude, it was an instant turn-off. I was shocked that she didn't reply with a Hi, hello or a welcome-in after I initially said "hi". A tour would have been nice, but she obviously wasn't going to take the time for that! l got a rescue dog that had been an owner surrender to an organization and went to a Foster home to…read moreawait adoption... well she got beaten up by some other dogs in the home and was moved to another foster home . Then, I had applied to meet her for adoption & met her, & took her home never looking back. This sweet girl had some tough knocks and behavior issues to go along with them. I enrolled her in a 6 week program with Mighty Dog Services. The team was patient and worked with her throughout the training. Her fear of other dogs, barking at people, pulling on leash walking, nervous pacing, separation anxiety all were resolved. She's a a happy camper that knows what I ask her do, she does it and happily takes praise and treats- and lots of love. They helped this dog overcome a rough past so she can trust and enjoy what she has now. She and I both are extremely thankful for the folks at Mighty Dog Services in Portland TN. They work with all breeds, ages and issues. They truly treat each as an individual and unlock all the potential the dog has to offer. As a dog mom- just as a mom of children. I would rather not fuss at my dog for behavior issues- I just want to love and enjoy them. Its possible , I promise give them a call.

When I picked up my dog, they rushed me to leave. I needed vet papers that was there. Still waiting for them. Please think about it before you leave your fur kids there. I do not recommend them at all. Kathy the owner is very sweet, she needs larger kennels for all the dogs. Even if you ask for a tour they won't show you the area I was in. You wouldn't leave your pet. Do your homework ask your vet. Take a full tour open doors really look around. I just walked in where dogs were. They didn't invite me in. Please be a good pet parent.
