After a couple minutes, I was worried it wouldn't work out. But, Julie made it happen! Eventually, he was coming to her and he was even licking her face mask. She trimmed all his nails and was careful to not trim too much so his nerve endings weren't touched. She was very sweet and I was very impressed by her ability to get the job done given how uncooperative he was at first. I definitely recommend La Pooch!

But then the second…read moretime, our dog was terrified to go in and when we went to pick her up the groomer complained that she was impossible to groom because she doesn't like the blow dryer and that they will not see her anymore. It's also very uncomfortable that they wont even let you inside the building to see where your dog is being cared for and groomed. We moved from Florida when she was 2 and she never had any issues at the groomer down there so I would not trust these people with your dog.
