It's also very uncomfortable that they wont even let you inside the building to see where your dog is being cared for and groomed. We moved from Florida when she was 2 and she never had any issues at the groomer down there so I would not trust these people with your dog.

He's the owner but is totally hands-on...not just a behind-the-scenes guy. He's right out there, scooping fish, chatting with customers about their pets, giving AWESOME advice about food, treats, medications, whatever you need. Even making deliveries for orders! He's just a really nice, kind, caring person who makes it very obvious that you as well as your pet are 100% happy with whatever you've purchased. So if you have ANY questions about, well, pretty much anything, he's your man. PSP in Somersworth is the only one I've been to so I can't attest to how others are run. And they're all privately owned franchises so they can differ greatly. But however you feel about the others, don't let it sway you from going here. It's always clean, well stocked and it's very convenient (next to Market Basket in Somerworth,NH...tax free! Woohoo!!) It even has designated parking in front of the store. You can even get your food delivered the same day! For FREE!!! There's also a sale rack in front which is nice. Something I learned last time I was in is that anything that is returned but has been opened goes to local shelters. (Love that!) Make sure to go on the web site and get on the mailing list, too. You will get coupons for 10-20% off your whole order and you'll also get points for watching 20 second videos, doing little animal quizzes etc. Points = money so you get up to $20 off your order at a whack. One of the doodle is more of a poodle and I said I would understand if she needed to go shorter. I picked them up and our more poodle boy had a burn/cut on his ear flap and lots of scratches inside his ear from whatever plucking tool she used. I tried to reach out and ask what happened and was told ok I will cancel your next appointment. She is very aggressive and definitely not open to any questions. As a side note when I showed up the places was covered in dog hair and smelled of pot. She also stated she couldn't believe that pot isn't legal yet in NH.
