It's also very uncomfortable that they wont even let you inside the building to see where your dog is being cared for and groomed. We moved from Florida when she was 2 and she never had any issues at the groomer down there so I would not trust these people with your dog.

The groomer SHAVED my dog's beautiful long hair (she's a Goldendoodle). In some parts, down to the skin. She left my dogs tail long, but shaved the base and some of her tail so it looks ridiculous. The groomer also said that when my dog moved she accidentally cut her, and just snuggling with her today she yelped in pain from me touching her stomach. This is unacceptable from a groomer. Words can not express how awful my pup looks. Not to mention the mats still in her ears!!! Will never be using this service again. Even my neighbor was appalled when she came and saw what they did.

He's the owner but is totally hands-on...not just a behind-the-scenes guy. He's just a really nice, kind, caring person who makes it very obvious that you as well as your pet are 100% happy with whatever you've purchased. So if you have ANY questions about, well, pretty much anything, he's your man. PSP in Somersworth is the only one I've been to so I can't attest to how others are run. And they're all privately owned franchises so they can differ greatly. But however you feel about the others, don't let it sway you from going here. It's always clean, well stocked and it's very convenient (next to Market Basket in Somerworth,NH...tax free! Woohoo!!) It even has designated parking in front of the store. You can even get your food delivered the same day! For FREE!!! There's also a sale rack in front which is nice. Something I learned last time I was in is that anything that is returned but has been opened goes to local shelters. (Love that!) Make sure to go on the web site and get on the mailing list, too. We are new dog owners and have been so lucky to bring our new dog to Take Five. The entire staff…read moreis friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and absolutely committed to the dogs happiness and safety. The location is a dog wonderland! So much space to run around safely inside fenced areas with lots of trees for shade too. Inside, this building is immaculate. Considering how many dogs are here you'd never know it. The floors are spotless. Our dog attends daycare here twice a week and knows when it's a Take Five day. She is so excited she is usually pulling me into the car. We have also had her stay at Take Five for boarding over the weekend and we felt so good about leaving her. We knew she would be cared for and loved, and most of all safe. This is a special place!

So when we picked them up his bed was soaked with urine. No apology or reason they handed the bed to my husband. I have tried to get a hold of them by phone e twice and left messages and no return call. I thought this would be the one for my pups to be safe in but I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
