I can't say enough wonderful things about Take Five Kennel! From the moment we started bringing our dog, Matilda, there, we've had nothing but exceptional experiences. The team is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares for each dog they look after. Matilda absolutely loves her visits, and we can tell she's treated like family every time we drop her off. It's such a relief to know that when we're away, Matilda is in such capable, loving hands. The staff always takes the time to update us on how she's doing and even shares little details about her day, which makes us feel so at ease. It's clear that this kennel goes above and beyond, and we couldn't be happier knowing Matilda is in such great care. Take Five came highly recommended and they have not disappointed us! My young, high-energy lab comes home tired and happy. They have a large, well-shaded outdoor space and a nice indoor space with air conditioning on those hot days. They seem to genuinely like and care for my dog and often share anecdotes about his day (what he did, who he played with, whose lap he managed to crawl into for a snuggle, etc.) They are very popular (for good reason) so need to book well ahead of time. The people who work there truly understand dogs and dog behaviors, and they work thoughtfully to keep everyone safe. We're lucky to have such a great place in our area! read more

I wanted to say the Groomer Mara hopefully I spelled her name right. Is a one in a million when it comes to grooming dogs, she is amazing kind and her personality is strong because she listens to the clients and always put the pups first. My 3 pups absolute loves her I mention grooming for them and their tails are a wagging. When I tell her my dog Lulu looks like a duck because of his fur she gets him in as soon as she can. Our dog was in bad shape with his coat, and we feared we may have to shave him. The groomer did an amazing job and was able to get him right again, without needing a shave! We have an uncommon breed and she was knowledgeable about how to deal with his long hair. The prices are also very reasonable. We also utilize their daycare and boarding, and have always been happy with those services, too. As usual, Take Five did an excellent job taking care of our dogs. We have a newer dog who hasn't had much experience boarding, and he was fearful and acting out. I really appreciated Rene going above and beyond to communicate with me how he was acting, taking extra time with him, and using positive techniques to try to make him more comfortable. We absolutely love Take Five! Our dog Finn loves to go there and "play with dogs"! Melissa is his absolutely favorite person, but he likes everyone there. Finn is not the biggest dog (about 45 pounds and low to the ground) but he loves to roughhouse with the big guys. He also loves to snuggle inside and sleep. The best thing we ever did was to send Finn there twice a week. He's so happy, and so are we. read more

Take Five has been nothing less than an amazing resource in these difficult times. I love spending everyday with my 1 year old lab, but I can't always match that energy! We have bounced around for a groomer for our 2 Newfoundlands. We found a perfect place at Take Five. Everyone is friendly to not only the dogs but their owners as well. Rachel E. Emma is a 12 year old border collie cross who has been going to Take Five since they opened. Emma loves all the staff and is exhausted when she gets home. I highly recommend Take Five, The staff understands dogs and divides them up into appropriate groups among the 5 play yards. They have a personalized, high-touch service with the dogs in their care. Having boarded my dogs there over the years, they are my first go to. I love the way they appreciate each animal's uniqueness and provide the wonderful walks in the woods with my crew. They even allow me to bring my raw meat to feed with the kibble I bring and nowhere else I know will do that. read more

My dog absolutely loves coming to the dog daycare as well as the boarding facility (when overnights are needed). The staff are very knowledgeable, conscientious, and friendly. This was my dog's (and our) first boarding experience. She's 8 years old and very timid. They took her right in and she warned up very quickly. They were flexible when our flights got canceled and had to stay an extra day. I find their pricing to be very reasonable and the accommodations comfortable.
