I loved this place until they hiked the prices sky high. The large machines are now $8 a load. A…read morefew months ago they were $7. That is cold water only. If you want warm water add $1.50. Used to be. 25. Want hot water? Add $3.00. Used to be $1.00 more for hot water. This is for a standard 33 minute cycle. If you want to do a "superwash load" which is 60 minutes so double the wash and rinse cycles, add another $4.00. I paid $16 a load for a hot water superwash. Never again. That is before drying anything. Small wonder the place was dead on a Friday night after work. Oh and gone are the two nights a week local homeless folks could do a single cold water wash for free. Clearly the goal is to extract as much money as humanly possible from the business. Too costly for me. The bathroom is now locked and for customers only. Have to get the key to use it. I don't like being treated like a criminal after spending north of $50 on laundry. Not a welcoming vibe. Nor was the fact the Dexter Pay app was down for maintenance my entire three hour visit. When I asked a staff member about it I got a blank look and was told they had just arrived and had no idea about that. Clearly no interest in helping me figure it out either. Not what I was expecting across the board. Disappointed.

They have plenty of washers and dryers and I did all my laundry (which would have been 12 loads at home) in two of the XL washers. Looking back, I could have used smaller washers to do them but that's okay. The XL washers cost $13.25. Feels like a really good deal. The place was clean with nice sinks, granite countertops... I'm so impressed.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and he offered assistance with purchasing the card system. The card system is simple: just put in cash and take the card it gives you to the machine you want to use. Any unused money is refunded back to you. I don't usually visit laundromats, and I was there to wash a duvet. The cost was $7.50, I believe. Seems pricey, but I don't really know. Again, great job to Dustan. I will be driving to SLC for any future laundry needs beyond my own washer dryer capacity.
