Tintify I've been on…read morea mission to find the perfect place in Columbus to get my windows tinted. As someone who's extremely particular about their vehicle, I was determined to do my due diligence. After a days of scouring reviews, I narrowed down my options to a top five list. Tintify stood out to me for many reasons. 1. A flawless review record - not one single bad review. 2. Armando and his daughter Amaya are a family duo, and I love supporting small businesses with a personal touch. 3. Armando took the time to answer all my questions, and I had a lot. 4. Johnson window films are a reputable brand, and I was impressed by their brand quality after doing my research. 5. He doesn't remove door panels, which was a huge plus for me. I opted for the Johnson IR supreme window tint film, 45% around except for the front window, which was 70%. I wanted a super ceramic tint that would provide excellent heat retention without being too dark. And let me tell you, the front windshield tint was a game-changer - it's an absolute must-have for resisting heat. I will say that after driving all the way out to Marysville, my front window was a lot bigger than Armando anticipated. So he had to order a bigger roll, and I appreciated his honesty and willingness to make it right. He even came out to my house to finish the job - talk about dedication. After a couple of days, I rolled my windows down, and the cut lines looked like they were laser-cut by a machine. At first, the windows seemed a little darker than I expected, but after a couple of days, they lightened up beautifully. Armando had mentioned that the tint might be a little hazy at first, but it looked so clean and clear from day one. I'm blown away by his professionalism, attention to detail, and the pride he takes in his craft. If you're looking for someone to tint your windows, look no further than Armando and Amaya. They're the real deal, and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm a lifetime customer now, and I couldn't be happier with the care and process of having my windows done. So I also like to point out that a window tinter is much much different than a window tint installer which just has a machine print out a sheet and slap it over your window. A window tinter, contours the window tint and will shape it over vehicles glass / window.

We were so impressed with his promptness, knowledge, cost and workmanship. He was so pleasant to deal with, as well and stands behind his work with a lifetime guarantee. He truly wanted to make sure we were happy with all aspects of the job. He was willing to spend a lot of time with us to choose the right tinting for each type of window and even made sure the sunroof was exactly the darkness I was looking for. I was not able to use the sunroof before because of the heat. Now I have the cover slid back all the time and I'm not bothered by the heat or sunlight. We would use Armando and Tintify again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our car look fabulous!

Unfortunately it only takes one bad experience to ruin a businesses reputation. This is the 4th car…read moreI've taken here to have the tint installed, I will say they are pricey but WERE worth the cost. The initial 3 interactions were very professional and hassle free. Showed up, they walked me through what I wanted and how much it would cost, I left, there were done in 2-3 hours, I paid, that was it. Great experience. This last time was not. I dropped off my 2026 Acura Integra Type S (which had less than 800 miles on it) off, informed the guy I wasn't interested in paying so much like last time, ($640 for the step above basic tint) and was wondering if they could work with me on the price, they couldn't, oh well. And like the other times I drop my car off, they're done within 2-3 hours and I come to pick it up. The first thing I notice is the car was filthy, I dropped it off spotless, salt shot up the sides of the car like it was doing highway speeds. I go into pay, get my keys, come out to the car and start it up, Every light on the dash that could be on, was on. Not to mention my alcantara seats were dirty. So I drive off and immediately call them, they explain "this happens all the time just drive it." I drive it at all speeds for 30 mins and the lights still are on. I call them back again and explain, and tell them "this only happens when the battery is deep cycled". Long story short they let my cars battery die, and said they could reset the light, they had some guy from the shop drive my car (it's a 6 speed manual) trying to reset the light which didn't work. They explained it was completely normal for this to happen because they need the car on they just forgot to hook up a battery charger, so I had to take it to the dealer to have the battery "charged and reconditioned and have basic settings parameters set". The owner or whatever he was maintained complete deniability throughout this whole thing and stuck to the "this is completely normal it happens all the time" script.

When he got there, they looked at him and his car and had no interest. They said "Well, you're not 18 so we can't talk to you." Why didn't they ask him this when he made the appointment? They are hustlers, that's why. My son is old enough to work, pay taxes and have a stereo installed at Best Buy. Tint Works is terrible.

I would strongly advise anyone to be extremely cautious before using this repair shop. Based on my…read moreexperience, the way my situation was handled raises serious concerns. I brought my business vehicle to this shop in December 2025 after my insurance company had already issued payment for the repairs. I expected the work to begin shortly after, but that never happened. My vehicle remained at the shop for over 4 months, and during that entire time, no repairs were completed. Instead, there were repeated delays and ongoing issues with communication. I followed up many times--both in person and through phone, text, and email--and was repeatedly told that updates would be provided or that progress would be made soon, but that did not happen. During this time, the shop also requested additional repair payments from my insurance company multiple times. However, when the insurance company tried to contact them to review those requests or obtain supporting documentation, they were unable to get clear responses or proper follow-up. This prevented the claim from moving forward. The insurance company had already issued approximately $4,500 for repairs, yet no work was done on the vehicle. After waiting several months with no progress, I was eventually asked to pick up my vehicle in the same condition I originally dropped it off. The lack of communication, repeated payment requests, and no completed repairs made this a very concerning experience. It was extremely difficult to get clear answers or understand what was actually being done. In addition, it was very difficult to reach management. Calls were often not returned, and the manager was frequently unavailable when I visited. I went to the shop many times in person and became familiar with the staff due to the repeated follow-ups. On some occasions, I was told someone was not available even when it appeared they were on-site. The documentation provided by the shop was also unclear, often written in codes and numbers without proper explanation, which made it difficult to understand the repair details. This created additional confusion during the insurance process. Since this is a business vehicle, being without it for over 4 months caused serious disruption and financial impact. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I highly recommend that anyone considering this shop proceed carefully, ask detailed questions upfront, and make sure all timelines, communication expectations, and repair processes are clearly documented before leaving their vehicle.
