AVOID THE COCONUT CREEK AND BOCA RATON FRANCHISE LOCATIONS: I'm leaving a one star review because the franchise owner is truly off his rocker. I had service performed at the Boca Raton location including XPEL PF, Tint, Blackvue Dashcam, and Ceramic coating on two new luxury vehicles. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and products provided. Two days later I noticed a large bubble in the PF along a curve in the bumper, called the location and was asked to bring it by. Upon visualizing the vehicle at the Boca Raton location, the technician insisted that the PF needed to be re-cut and re-applied to the entire bumper. They explained that the employee who applied the PF lived in Tampa (hundreds of miles away) and he would contact us shortly when the technician was going to be in town to get the vehicle scheduled for repair. Over the next month and a half, where I contacted them weekly, they only returned my call once to schedule me (late on a Tuesday evening and I returned their call promptly on Thursday morning). Unfortunately, I was told the installer was no longer in the area. Finally, after more phone calls, the local technicians "escalated" us to the franchise owners. The franchise owners DEMANDED pictures of the bubbled PF, VIN number of vehicle and lots of other information that had already been provided to the BOCA RATON location where the work had been performed. All this information was also available on their original estimate and invoice. After providing this information multiple times, I was finally told that they would fix the vehicle but only if I traveled to the COCONUT CREEK location on a date of their choosing. After dropping off my car to the COCONUT CREEK location (significantly further from my home), I returned to pick it up 3 days later. Upon entering the shop, my wife and I were verbally accosted by the owner, and berated for apparently mentioning to his wife that their customer service was not up to our expectations (returning phone calls). He proceeded to seethe and scream at us for 10 minutes while we patiently just repeatedly requested that he return our car. Even as we walked out the door, he was still threateningly screaming at us. This franchisee obviously has some serious anger issues (read the many other similar reviews posted here) and I would encourage others NOT to interact with him in fear that he may turn physically violent. Well the first thing I love about them is that they use a picture of my car in their advertising. :-) Tint World was my first window tinting experience outside of a dealership. They are not the fastest, and they are definitely not the cheapest, but in my opinion... They are the best at what they do. Sometimes the phrase "you get what you pay for" actually means something. Never let them see you sweat is something the new owner Jeff has never heard. Yesterday he was hysterical with me on the phone. He forgot about my appointment. He was ranting about him, his girlfriend, and his technician having the flu. He hung up on me when I asked if I could speak. Here's the full story: I went to Tint World about six months ago when Michael ran the place. It was top notch. I decided to go back for a dash cam. When I called to inquire about the service, Jeff answered the phone and explained that he was the new owner, service would be the same, and that he could install the dash cam. He explained pricing, functionality, and the 90-120 minutes required to do the work. All was great! I made the appointment and I even received a confirmation reminder the day before my appointment. When I showed up, Elliott (I think I have his name correct) said he knew nothing about the appointment. There was no one there to do the work. I guess he doesn't have access to the scheduling system, which in hindsight is awfully strange. He tried calling Jeff several times, but apparently Jeff was the only one working at another location. Clearly, they are severely short-handed. After several attempts, he did reach Jeff, who told the other clerk to tell me to leave my car for the day. That was not what we agreed. I didn't have a ride. I don't have a spare car. And I drove 30 minutes in morning traffic to get there early. If someone had simply called me to explain that they were short-handed and we needed to rebook, I would have been fine with it. A reschedule isn't uncommon in this holiday craziness. Totally floored, I left. I was astounded at the unprofessionalism. But wait. It gets better. I called Jeff at the other location to get a little more detail and perhaps an apology. Same deal: no response until my third attempt. When I did speak to him, that's when he went postal. Screaming that he had the flu and he'd get to my car later that day. Do I want someone who has the flu in my car? No. Not a chance. I don't normally write poor reviews, but I wanted to share my story. I'm hoping it's a one-off and that this isn't the standard to which the new owner operates. You'd think he'd call me to apologize and offer to rebook the service. Nope. Perhaps Michael is available for consulting work on how to run a customer-focused business. read more

had this location install wheels on a brand new Escalade and was told that I could leave the factory wheels at the store and pick them up "whenever" and "they will call if I need to come get them" I went to pick them up and new ownership said they scrapped them. The wheels and tires didn't have 200 miles on them. I was told "it's not my problem". terrible new ownership. read more

I had my windows tinted and wheels powder coated there. Window tinting was excellent. Had an issue with the powder coating - just some premature flaking in a few spots- and the owner and managers were great and remedied the issue after the warranty had expired. I bought my truck in August of 2018. On a whim one day, I went to Tint World with my 3 year old. They gave me a fair price and said they could do the tints right then. My daughter and I walked next door to McDonalds, had lunch and when we were done, so was the truck. Its now 2021 and the tints still look great. read more

I walked into Tintworld on 2nd ave in East Boca. I was immediately greeted by Anthony and the Owner Mike, they both made me feel right away that I was in the right place. They introduced me to all the different tint packages that Tintworld offers for my new SUV. I opted for their Premuim Nano Ceramic Non metallic tint. I also had some aftermarket accessories installed in addition while they tinted my vehicle. I have owned many cars over the years that have been tinted, but I've never seen such quality, professional attention to detail work.
