Buyers...beware! ________ I reached out to this business by phone on last Sunday to request a quote for removal and replacement of the tint on my back window. I was quoted approximately $130. Because I wanted a more definitive quote, I drove to the business on Friday and was quoted $130 for the standard tint and $180 for ceramic. I scheduled and appointment for today (Sunday) at 9am to have the ceramic tinting done. When I arrived at 8:43am, the first thing I noticed was that the lights were off. Given that the business claims to be open from 8am-5pm seven days a week, I found it odd. However, the closer it got to 9am without anyone coming to the door the more anxious I became. I got out of my car and knocked on the door TWICE before 9am with no answer. So, I began calling the number on the door. The first time, the phone was answered by a male who said "Hello" but who did not respond nor confirm when I asked if I had reached the business in question. The person then hung up and did not answer any of my follow-up calls. I also made several attempts calling secondary number that was printed on a sheet of paper and taped to the door. Again, no answer. At 9:12, I made a final attempt and left a voicemail sharing that I was currently at the business waiting for my scheduled appointment. I said I would wait 5 more minutes. Instead, I waited 8 and left at 9:20am. At 10am, I decided to call again to see if someone would answer. I didn't want to provide a negative review if there was a valid reason for the business not being open and ready to provide service. The phone was answered after a few rings and person provided a pretty insincere 'apology' and shared that he was 'in the back cleaning my car'. That was it. No genuine apology. No reasonable explanation. Just a cavalier and ambivalent attitude regarding the loss of business and poor customer service experience provided. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this business. Today, they have truly earned this 1-star review.

I've been using Pro Tint since 2016, always going to their downtown location and recommending them…read moreto countless friends and family because they've always done great work. I recently moved closer to Apopka and figured I'd give this location a try big mistake. I was fully aware my 3M warranty would be void because I chose to have the new tint overlayed on the old tint. I've had this done before with no issues, so I didn't see any reason to spend extra money to remove it first. But what I got this time was a terrible install -- the driver-side window has a finger-width gap that looks absolutely ridiculous. When I called to get it fixed, I was told it wasn't a bad install but instead because of the overlay which is just an excuse. I had to send pictures, call multiple locations, and argue back and forth with employees who had no authority to actually fix anything. After all that, I was told the only option was to drive an hour away to another location just to have it looked at. I even went back in person to the Apopka shop, hoping for a reasonable solution, and ended up in a shouting match with Johnathan, another installer who had zero customer service skills and no interest in helping. Instead of trying to make it right, he blamed the overlay again and brushed me off like it was my fault. I paid $250 the most I've ever spent for tint and got the worst experience I've ever had. Between the sloppy workmanship and the complete lack of accountability, this was beyond frustrating. After years of being a loyal customer, I can honestly say I'll never return to any Pro Tint location again.
