When I called Steve he stated he does not have a shop but has a "booth" to paint in. He assured me he was no "gypsy" tint guy and would give me a good product. He stated $200 would get the job done "right" and I would be very pleased. I brought him my car and he said It would be ready the next day!!! I thought it takes a couple of hours to put window tint on a car. And he actually gave me my car 2 days later!!! Seems he did not paint it in a booth as he said, but in his home garage. After he tinted my car one of the windows had a different color. It looked ridiculous. He stated that I should bring it back in 3 weeks and he would fix this different window for free as it was part of the job. It took 2 emails, 3 texts, and more than 10 calls to get him to return my calls. We arranged a date to do the work, then on that day he tells me the times not good, family crisis and all, said he would call me as soon as things got better to finish my car. That was 2 plus weeks ago, still no call, the crisis must not be too bad because he has managed to advertise every day since then on Craigslist. Stay clear of this guy, he will not deliver on his word and he is definitly not ETHICAL. You want to see his work just let me know, we can meet up and I can show you what he did to my car. read more

I had a terrible experience using this company. First I called to get a quote. I gave the guy on the phone all the information he needed about my car and he said they will charge me $180 to tint the car windows. At the time of installation this same guy I spoke to on the phone changed the price on me! He said he will charge $220 because he has to acid-clean the windows!!! After he finished working on my car, I noticed a bubble on my back window and told him about it. He said this is just a water bubble and it will evaporate. I found this very hard to believe but I said OK anyway and let him go. Time has passed and of course the bubble did not go away. So I called him and asked him to fix his lousy job (BTW he advertises he has a lifetime warranty). He tried to charge me but of course I would not pay a penny. He talked to me like I am asking for charity and said I will have to go to his place (first time he came to my house). So I went to him and he replaced the tint in his home garage! read more

Just had my BMW tinted by Steve from Tint Monkey. I found Tint Monkey by googling "Mobile Window Tint Peoria AZ" and Tint Monkey was the first hit. I called on Friday to see if there were any Saturday appointments available and, to my surprise, they had availability. Tint Monkey has a mobile service - he came to me! It was incredibly convenient because I had the cable guy and a few other contractors coming by the house on Saturday. Steve was on time and very friendly. He walked me through my different options and showed me examples - ALL IN MY OWN DRIVEWAY! He is very meticulous and has excellent attention to detail. Given that he is a perfectionist, I doubt I'll be using his 100% money back guarantee, but that's an awesome piece of mind to have. My car looks amazing. Steve is an absolute professional at this and completely blew my mind with the work he did! His business comes to you, but he allowed me to come to him to have this job done! Said the work would take 2-4 hours but took within 2! He even was willing to work with me on pricing! Steve (Tint Monkey) was recommended to me by my mechanic after my driver's side window was smashed by some knuckle-head, and the replacement window wasn't tinted. Window tint is a good thing in the Phoenix sun. Like so many people during the COVID-19 pandemic my schedule is hectic and unpredictable. Steve was really great and flexible and we were able to work out an appointment with ease. He also serves the pretty much the whole Phoenix Metro area (within 40 miles of Peoria). Steve is a super-nice guy and we had a great time chatting while he worked. The tint looks great, and only took 15-20 minutes for the one window. He Used cheap window tint "Solar Gaurd" instead of the 3 M window tint he said he uses and is a arizona distributer for! There is still bubbles months later! I had words with this unqualified technician! He does not know how to tint windows! I would stir clear of this company or person! He is a very strange and cocky individual! Horrible service and extremely rude technician. The tint job was awful. Clearly the film was not cut correctly and parts of my car window were not covered. I asked him very nicely to replace the film on my window so he started showing me the ugly side. Had to pay him just to get rid of him then called another company to replace my window tint. Had to pay the other company twice the price because they had to remove the old messed up tint! Edit: Looking at the other review, it is clearly not authentic. So we had our windows done a while ago, but it was a major fiasco with the insurance. Fought back and forth with them and then finally these guys came in and basically took everything out of our hands for us. They did amazing work in our garage on our time. Even threw in an extra window for free due to the hassle we had to go through with the insurance. If I ever need new tint, I'll be going to them for sure. read more
