Currently, I do not have issues with quality. Both projects were completed timely. Unfortunately, the two-star review is for the financial transition experience for the car on 12/26/24. We tried reaching out via text, website contact, email, and Facebook contact with zero response. My husband was quoted 400 verbally for the tint of the car. He told my husband if you pay Venmo, there is no tax. My husband had to step away and I handled the financially transaction. My husband in hindsight, wish he was there, to confront the payment. He charged 550 for the tint of the car. He also told me, that there is no tax if you pay cash only. He said that there is tax if you pay Venmo. I paid with card, as I had no cash on me. I told my husband, he charged 550. My husband said that is not what was agreed too. We tried reaching out for explanation before we wrote this review, but there has been no attempt by him. As for the other observations, I will note in this review. Extremely late to both scheduled appointments. On 12/25/24, on Christmas night, we get a phone call after 10:30 PM. We did not pick up the phone. We were in bed. Who calls on Christmas night after 10pm to a customer? We believe the call was to confirm the appointment on 12/26/24. He also texted afterwards on Christmas night. Upon paying, I noticed that he was very "tired" & "slow" talking, semi spaced out. Upon explaining how to care for the tinting, he kept repeating the same thing about 3 times. His partner had to step into the conversation and say, what he is trying to say is....... try to cure the car in the sun. I didn't have good experience observing the slow behavior and talk. I also found it unprofessional that they had a very small dog or puppy in their vehicle on cold day as they worked. I didn't notice this until we paid. I would have questioned this, if we noticed the dog earlier. I suggest if you do get your vehicles serviced to request a paper or electronic trail of the quote, NOT verbal. He also didn't put break light back in. We called. He gave an attitude and seemed bothered and OFF, when we called. Stay away!!!

We contacted Solarworks Glass Tinting, and Lisa Thompson came out to assess the situation. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful in explaining several possible solutions. Best of all, the estimate was much more affordable than we expected. About a week later, Andy arrived to install the tinted film, and he was excellent as well. Once the installation was complete, we couldn't believe the difference it made in both our dining room and foyer (we also had our storm door tinted). The heat and glare were dramatically reduced, and the overall appearance looks fantastic. An added bonus is the subtle reflective finish, which provides extra daytime privacy from the outside without making the windows look overly dark. My car has like no tint, so I was wanting to get some shade on there pretty quick. They ran through the choices, and wow can you spend some coin on tint! I got the nano tint on the front because it also gives you better UV protection, and the rest the standard tint, and it came out around $550. It was worth it. No bubbles, the tint came out great. The only drawback was that they don't take AMEX...in fact I feel like less places nowadays will take my card. This place is definitely a no frills establishment, but hey, what do you really need at a tinting shop other than great quality tinting? They also replaced the tint on my boyfriend's car for a great price for one window, and it was only $50. Be sure to make an appointment and give them a try! After a friend recommended the shop, I made an appointment and drove two hours to tint my car…read morewindows. Scheduling was painless and I was offered plenty of time slots to choose from. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an incredibly friendly and personable staff. The waiting room was intimate yet comfortable and even afforded drinks for their clients. We discussed my options and prices while they demonstrated the effects of the various forms of tint. Having made my decision, they gave me an expected time frame and so I left the car with them to go have lunch with my buddy. When I returned, the car was done and boy did they knock it out of the park! The tint fit was perfect, even on the difficult to reach rear glass with defroster. They warned me that the rear might produce some bubbles but that those would dissipate after the glue fully cured. This never happened! My windows remained as delivered, perfect and without bubbles or air pockets of any kind! When they saw that I had a service animal, they did advise that their install warranty would not cover dog scratches and then offered me a bottle of cleaner to use when she slobbered on a window. After getting inside the car, I noted that they had placed stickers over the window switches, a good deterrent in the event that I forgot about not dropping any windows for the first 24-48 hours. I also saw that there wasn't a spot of application spray anywhere in the interior, not even my very deep dash. It has been 5 months now since the install. I am very glad I went with the IR Ceramic. Its a bit more pricey but well worth the money considering the intense southern sunlight we deal with. Everything looks as perfect as the day it was installed. I could not have been more pleased with the results and service. If you are on the fence, take a drive out there and have a chat with one of their employees. They will be honest with you and do their best to provide you a solution that suits your needs.

Terrible customer service and very unprofessional…read more The one star is coming from a very simple tenet in business: don't ignore your customers. The appointment I had was with an individual that was not very professional. I had an appointment for 10 AM on Saturday. I arrived promptly at 9:58 AM. Keep in mind that the text that they send out the day before says get there 15 minutes early. I purposely did NOT get there 15 minutes early because I read other reviews where customers had to wait. This was a good move on my part, because as expected, we had to wait even though I was there on time (slightly early actually). The garage where the shop is located was not even open. The craziest part is that the individual who was able to open the shop with sitting in his truck, the entire time sitting amongst cars that were pulling up, ready for their appointments. At around 10:02 AM he finally got out of his truck and opened his garage, I was very surprised that he was there the entire time actually parked in front of me and just waited in his car. He didn't even acknowledge the fact that there were people there for a 10 AM appointment and he hadn't even open the garage yet until after 10. Maybe he isn't aware that the instructions tell people to get there 15 min early, I don't know. Then he proceeded to service the customers that were there before us which is totally fine. But the reality is I did have a 10 AM appointment and I was on time and I was not acknowledged or spoken to the entire time, and they definitely saw me. On numerous occasions, they walked past me did not even say anything at all. Normal customer service is to say that they will be right with you or thank you for patience or something. There was absolutely NO acknowledgment whatsoever. He didn't stop to ask if we had an appointment or anything, he just walked past us and continued talking to the other customers. Also.. the bigger question is.. why did they double book? Assuming the other party also had a 10 AM appointment. If they didn't have an appt, this is even worse becuase they ignored the customers who actually made an appointment. Either way it is terrible customer service. So ultimately, I left. I refuse to give business to a company that does not respect my time, for them to see me and other customers, waiting and still stay in their truck and then on top of that for them to not even acknowledge me once they finally open, the shop is totally unacceptable. Also I was lingering around there for about 10-15 min hoping to be spoken to and then I thought to myself.. if they won't provide good customer service before getting my car, then they don't deserve to touch my car. I refuse to give them business. I will say that the person who scheduled my appointment Bridget was super nice when I spoke to her so maybe it would have been better if she was there but regardless they need to be held accountable for how appointments are on Saturdays.
