And then they were running a "buy 6, get 2 free" special that included cookies and dough. Regrettably, I only thought to take pics of the dough, but the cookies were a perfect post-hike snack for a few days. I suspect that everything they make is exceptional, but my favorites were the s'mores and chocolate PB cookies. It had the bold, savory flavor and gentle heat you'd expect from authentic Calabrian salami, with a rich depth that made it stand out from anything you find at a typical grocery store. You can really tell they prioritize quality ingredients and traditional craftsmanship. The crust was flaky and sweet and might have have sugar and cinnamon baked in the top crust. Delicious! The peanut butter pie was also great. A soft, light peanut butter filling in a flaky crust.
