I have been coming to Tina's pumpkin patch for years but sadly this year will be our last . Their prices have gone up drastically and they have this ridiculous time limits for the bounce houses. Very upsetting to find out you aren't allowed to be in a jumper with your toddler knowing that other kids won't be careful. First pumpkin patch that we've gone to that doesn't allow parents to accompany the kids. Definitely won't be going back. read more

We've been coming here year after year and our daughter left this year crying saying "this was my worst day at the pumpkin patch." We were standing in line for the train at 8:35pm. The patch closes at 9. We were standing behind a man and thought we were getting on next...he proceeded to block our daughter from getting on the train and let every kid in line that was behind her onto the train in front of her and then said, train is closed. He left her sitting there crying...and then proceeded to let one more kid on that was behind her...he said "get over it." It's a Saturday night, weekend before Halloween, the patch should still be open for another 25 min. And why did he block her from getting on and let a train full of people on before her? She is 4 years old. I went to complain to the gals behind the cashiers area and they said the guy that did that was the owner. So there you have it..the owner deciding to be mean to a kid. Total bummer. If you are the owner, you should have a responsibility to be kind to children, and to be fair. I don't think he should be working with kids at all. read more

I love this place so did my granddaughter and that's all that matters. But i never thought I would witness this first had and yesterday was the first time that I've ever seen a male Karen going off on a very nice gentleman that understood my granddaughters special needs getting a cost for doing his job after telling the male Karen and his dog to please step out from the path of the train multiple times. People need to start being more considerate of those who are only doing their job. read more

Great time with the littles! Lots of activities.....petting zoo, pony rides, a variety of jumpers/slides, a train, and a mini maze. Great layout and the animals appeared to be well taken care of. Prices were decent and the staff was pleasant. Oh, they also have pumpkins!!!! I think I will come back when they have trees :) Our first stop was Tapia Bros but there weren't really any activities for the littles on a Thursday. Lots of pumpkins and a few photo ops but that was it. I'm glad that yelp located Tina's a short drive away and my twins had a blast their first time at a pumpkin patch. Tina's trees is the place to go! My parents took me to their old location on Ventura and Hazeltine since before I could remember and then we came started coming to their new location near the Sherman oaks galleria and it was just as incredible, if not convenient that we could go over to the galleria after and grab a bite to eat. Great selection of pumpkins, Tina and her staff are pretty good with keeping things stocked up until Halloween day! I see many peoples main complaint is the animals in the petting zoo/ pony area. I am an animal safety activist and I've never been to Tina's pumpkin patch and seen any form of animal cruelty taking place. Unfortunately, there are people who see animals and forget they were wild at one point. They are animals after all. In some cases, The people leaving comments about the horses being mistreated are the same people upset their 110 pound child was not allowed on the small pony they have. These animals are well taken care of and supervised. For Instance, I saw a pony last year with a teary eye and that worried me so i asked on of the staff members why he is still out and they kindly explained to me that the horse had a blocked tear duct. They informed me that they had flushed the eye of the horse days before and the problem had returned. They contacted a vet and he advised them not to flush the eye again but to leave it alone as it will not cause any harm to the pony. That being said, If you have an issue with something you see, bring it to someones attention. Maybe you'll be educated on something you didn't know before. I've also went to the extent of researching the farm the animals were raised on and the family that raised them have an extensive history of animal care in their family. I have been coming to this Pumpkin patch for a little over 20 years now and I will remain a loyal customer. read more

One of the workers here harassed me and my kid the entire day, I felt very uncomfortable and won't be coming back.

DEFINITELY for older toddlers. Took my 15 month old there this morning, with limited success. Parking was simple and given it's a Thursday morning, it wasn't very crowded. They had a train ride and a maze that was age appropriate for him, but he was terrified of the maze. The only other option was looking at pumpkins (which he kind likes for sure) but that only lasts so long. If you have a 2-3 year old this would be great bc they're better walkers, and can do things like go down a slide by themselves. Agree that the petting zoo was depressing, but we did not partake. I did see it from afar though. Plus side is there is a cute seated area for a photo opp if that is your thing. I much prefer Nancy's Ranch even though it's kind of a drive, it seems to be more appropriate for littles like mine. read more

Although my 2 year old had fun the animals here are treated TERRIBLE and there is little to no safety procedures for kids on the inflatables. Staff was all very nice and there was a great selection of pumpkins. Easy to get to and easy parking. My one star rating is for the animal encounters. I'm sure they are a big draw but the conditions were absolutely unacceptable. I've worked with animals for a very long time in various professional capacities. The petting zoo had an encounter with a llama, goats, pigs and bunnies where visitors would come in. There was little room for people and animals combined but more than anything the animals had nowhere to go to hide or relax if overwhelmed. Many of them were very visibly stressed. The rabbits and pigs were all huddled together in the corner shaking. I recommend providing little houses for the rabbits and pigs so they have somewhere to go if they are scared (or remove rabbits, anyone who knows rabbits knows they are prey animals and are easily scared). This would give them some control in the situation so they could choose to interact. The horses for the pony ride also just looked very unhappy. I wouldn't go back unless they changed the animal conditions or removed the animal encounters altogether. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. The line to get in is absurd given the fact that there are 3 things to do and it's extremely small. There is Absolutely NO SOCIAL DISTANCING happening and no attempts by the employees to make it happen either. No markers on floors for the long and dreadful petting zoo line - just people packed standing next to each other. It was actually quite a scary experience so maybe skip the haunted house and come here instead. I understand that they had limited space but they need to limit the amount of people they let in. No temp checks. Nothing. There were at least 100 people inside so I left quickly. read more

This place was really fun! We've been to 4 pumpkin patches this year including mr bones which is a little more popular. Our whole family actually liked this one better. Nice staff, the staff were fair my son was too afraid to go down the larger slide so they gave us the token back. My son spent forever in the bounce house he loved it, the petting zoo was SO much better they actually had a lot of animals and a wider variety. It also felt really safe, all of the adults had masks on, a lot of the kids did too. They had a lot to do. 2 bounce houses, one jump house, petting zoo, hay maze, train ride, picking pumpkins, also super cute IG photo moments if you need it, by far they had the best pumpkin display we've seen yet. Kind of expensive. Each token is 3 dollars, however, if you have leftover tokens when you leave, you can use them for food or get a refund. The ponies, goats, rabbits and llama looked much better and healthy this year. Bounce house, etc were really fun! Word of advice, don't come to a pumpkin patch on Halloween Day (the last day) and expect to see pumpkins. No my friends, expect to see the leftover, the neglected, the unwanted and misshapen "pumpkins" of the patch. The true undesirables... Now that you aren't expecting pumpkins in this review lets discuss what Tina's Pumpkin Patch did have to offer. First there was plenty of parking. We came about an hour after the patch opened and there was ample parking in a lot attached to the patch. It's free to enter so YAY but you must pay for tokens per each attraction. The best attraction would have to be the train. The tiny tots really enjoy the train, it's cute and the conductor was super sweet. The train goes around the tiny patch. The next best is the petting farm. They have goats, sheep, bunnies and chickens running around searching for the feed. The feed is an additional buck aside from the token required for entry. The goats were so eager for the food. They will follow you and tackle for the feed. The sheep were rude, one sneezed on me and walked away. The chicken and bunnies kept a low profile and were along the edges of the pen probably avoiding the rude sneezing sheep. They also had a cute little maze for kids to run through (its tiny), they had a larger bounce house for the bigger kids and 2 little Playmate slide apparatus for the wee ones. Overall decent place for infants and toddlers. It's pretty dusty so come prepared with shoes you don't mind getting dirty. read more

We came here hoping for a nice time but had to leave. I would guess that 50% of the patrons and staff were taking the mask requirement seriously. The dude running the petting zoo literally had his mask off and wiped his face with his hand. We complained to the owner and she seemed nice and like she gets it, but it's not safe. read more

Huge variety of pumpkins to choose from. They are kept under a tent, so they haven't been heated by direct sun. The prices are fair. You could buy a decent sized pumpkin for $8. They even have the mini pumpkins for $1.50. Tons of parking, although it is a dirt lot. The best part is that they allow dogs, which I knew based on a previous Yelper's advice. My puppy looked adorable on their picture worthy bales of hay. If you have children, they have a maze, petting zoo, and pony rides. All reasonably priced. I prefer the farm type pumpkin patches, and just know that this is not. It is set up off of a busy intersection in a dirt lot. It does the job if you want to select the perfect pumpkin. read more

The pumpkins were cool, but they also had pony rides and a petting zoo where you could pet goats, baby pigs, a llama, bunnies, and a sheep. I partook in the petting zoo and feel a moral dilemma. What I saw was not good, the animals were getting bombarded by adults and children going crazy. There was a sign that said "do not pick up the animals," and people were aggressively picking up bunnies while almost trampling them, completely ignoring the sign. No staff in sight to make sure the animals were treated with gentleness. The worst part is that most parents there didn't give two shits about controlling their children, some parents even blatantly ignored the sign about not picking up the animals, so they could get a photo of themselves with their kid holding the animal. Every single animal was cowering in the corner of their tiny pens trying to hide from people. People can pay to feed the animals so people were throwing food at the animals and forcing cups of food in the faces of animals who were too full to eat. One of the horses was pacing back and forth with anxiety. It is very obvious this place is a cash grab and doesn't give a shit about the animals because NOBODY was there to control the guests to protect the animals. As far as parking lot pumpkin patches neighboring an incredibly busy freeway goes, this place was pretty tidy and fun for my toddler and I. It's straightforward for a patch in the middle of a dang city. Easy easy parking both weekends and weekdays. Also, NO ENTRY FEES. They had a good selection of orange and white pumpkins, wagons, the blow up slides & bouncy things, some random packaged snacks, a small random area for those toddler plastic climby slide crawly things, old school quarter rides, an off track train, all the typical city pumpkin patch offerings. They also had our favorite, a mini hay maze, just perfect for little toddlers to toddle around. It was totally fine, did the job. Reason for three stars, well, personally, I don't think the animals had enough space to roam, esp since this lot is huuuuuuge, shame they weren't given more space, and the ponies, I mean, I don't know anything about farm animal safety or care, but I just personally didn't feel right paying them money to encourage such a thing. In general, I don't know how happy animals are when they are forced into small spaces with strangers approaching them so often. A lot of the petting animals were just confined in small areas, even the bigger animals. So sad. It'd be great if they didn't have pony rides or a petting zoo. 4 stars because for one, no one had an issue with me bringing my dog. She's a pitbull& naturally people are always so scared! I braced myself to be told to get my dog off the premises but they didn't! Which I'm glad because I got the cutest pictures of her near the pumpkins second, they had this rock climbing wall for what I'm assuming was for older kids and adults. Me and my boyfriend had fun trying to climb to the top. They had face painting and sold funnel cakes, although I didn't get my face painted or buy a funnel cake it just made me happy seeing they had it there lol Im not giving it five stars because I don't condone animal exploitation & that's what I felt I saw. Took my daycare kids ther, lots of fun, they have everything from cool train ride to petting zoo and thousands of pumpkins! We had awesome time , there is nice area to seat and have lunch tho they dnt have lunch just snacks, also couple of jumping area, one is like a huge obstacle course which kids loved. My family and I left disappointed. The kids were expecting to ride a pony, and we purchased the tokens. Right after we purchased the tokens, the staff said "The capacity for this ride is only 90lbs for safe wise." They didn't tell us in the first place, so we received our refund. We came to this pumpkin patch this weekend and my 2 year old had a lot of fun. She's obsessed with horses and farm animals so she was ecstatic to go on the pony ride and pet the animals in the petting zoo. We usually go to Underwood Farms but because it's been so packed lately we decided to visit a smaller pumpkin patch close to home. I'm so glad we did, there were no long lines (we went around 11am on a Saturday) and the staff was very kind and helpful. There's a small toddler area that has a couple of toddler slides and a small bouncy house along with other small toys. There's a few rides towards the back, which we didn't utilize since my daughter is still little. There's also couple of bouncy houses and a large slide. We picked out 3 pumpkins; 1 large and 2 smaller ones for $15. Not a bad deal. Will visit again next year for sure. read more

Tonight as he closed the train down at 8:30 for no good reason other than wanting to get out of there, on the last weekend before Halloween no less, the only time many parents can take their kids, he left my daughter crying as he let every kid on the train but her. They advertise that they are open till 9pm and have a park full of people who have paid good money for tickets that are non-refundable, and have young kids who have even less understanding than the adults why they start closing the only reason people are there 30 minutes before they close, at peak time of the season. When I confronted him on it he told me to get over it. Quote, unquote. Take your family anywhere else. He has no business working around children. read more

My family went on Halloween and had a nice time. It's definitely for babies, toddlers, and very young children. My two year old loved the pony and train ride. My concerns were that the activities are literally right next to each other and thete is really no way to socially distance in such a small environment. Staff should have controlled how many people were inside and enforce socially distancing in lines. Most of the time was spent standing in lines. Most people had on face coverings but some people would take them off for pictures or if they just wanted a break. There were signs to socially distance but the place was just too small and cramped. Staff did wipe down the train and pony saddles after each ride and hand sanitizers and a few sinks were placed around. Overall, an ok time for small kids. read more

We took our girls Saturday night and they had a good time they did the pony ride twice, the slide, and the jumper came out to $36. We where there for only a couple of hours because there isn't a lot to do. However if you have small children they will enjoy it.
