My friend chose this place when we were getting our nails done for her birthday. We each had a nail tech who didn't listen to what we wanted. I told my nail tech I just wanted regular nail polish, but she said powder was better. She cut my nails and then glued acrylics at the tips and cut them. I told her I didn't want my nails too long, that I was happy with the length they were when I came in. She said it's better longer and proceeded to do my nails. My thumb nail was crooked and I pointed that out. She said she'd fix it later but never did. The same thing happened with my friend. She picked a color but the lady she had was trying to use a different color from what she chose. She then kept nicking my friend. My friend told her she was hurting her, and the lady said if she was hurting her, there would be blood everywhere. I had to trim my nails when I got home because they were too long for me to remove my contacts. We will not be back at Tina's anytime soon. Our nails were just okay, but not worth the aggravation from poor customer service. Listen to what your customers are asking you to do, not what YOU want. read more

I should have known this was going to be a disaster when there were zero customers inside and the nail salon directly across the street had a line and a 45 min wait. I had to call the police after they locked me in and eventually got a ticket of $100 citation for theft for not paying the $15 to remove one nail. The owner was charging me $55 for basic no shape one color application or $65 for two colors .She had already been what I believe unwanting to do my nails so Told me that outrageous price thinking wouldn't want the nails. But I did agree the price at the moment ,because my mother was already in the chair getting a $30 pedicure. Minutes into the process I stopped the woman Who was the owner ..because she applied way too much glue the drip down my fingers and applied so much acrylic to one nail it also dripped and was gummy like. (I had no other work done to my fingers but that is one individual nail. ) Just after seeing her apply so much product to one finger I immediately stopped her and let her know that I was not satisfied and didn't want to go further. She then proceeded to speak to me very rude and even rushed her staff to finish my mothers and sisters pedicures to get us out of the shop . I did pay for the pedicures of course because those employees were nice but we're only following the rules of their boss who was extremely rude . Once we paid and then proceeded to walk toward the door with no nails applied to my hands Where we discovered that we were locked in and being held there by force because I refuse to pay $15 to remove one individual nail. I came to this place a week ago for some baby pink coffin nails. I came out with short purple nails with glue residue still on my skin. The staff was so rude and rough. I told the man working on my nails that it hurt and he proceeded to work. I was sweating bullets and lightheaded from the pain! I went in asking for powder and was given a polish . My cuticles are absolutely wrecked and my nails are so unbelievably crooked. When I complained, I was brushed off or belittled. When I found out I was locked in I CALLED THE POLICE!!! The other customers that were in there with me told me to be calm because Tina was not worth me going to jail over. This lady cut me to the point I bled. She threw her overhead lamp at me and paraded a bottle of mace in my face. She assaulted me and she's lucky I did not press charges. I asked for a manicure and right away this older woman started helping me and asked if I wanted my nails cut or not which my first answer was no but I changed my mind and noticed a change of attitude with the lady...she then started glueing the fake nails directly without doing a clean up on my nails did not cut my cuticles and honestly I was not satisfied with the customer service there. BEWARE, THEY WILL BURN YOUR FACE AND PEEL YOUR SKIN OFF. I went to this place on Monday afternoon around 6pm to wax my eye brows, chin & mustache. I also got a pedicure and manicure for me and my 92 year old mom. I started to get my mom's mustache & chin waxed, but it hurt me so much I told them not to do my mom. They kept laughing as though they were making fun of us. Anyhow, they burnt my face and pulled my skin off all over my face. The lady kept waxing and waxing. I knew it hurt me really bad, but I had no idea they had burnt me and pulled my skin off until the next day when I was still in a lot of pain and I was scarred really bad. I went to tell them and show them what they did to me the next afternoon. They offered to give me $20 back, but I told them my boss, whose an attorney, said they needed to refund me the whole $100.00 I spent there because they scarred and hurt me really bad. The manager told me no, she would not give me the whole $100.00 back and that they had an attorney too, so she did not care. I grabbed a card and left without the $20.00. Therefore, I give them the most horrible rating possible because they injured me and the manager did not care. The lady who waxed my face did apologize, but she needs training on how to do waxes. I went to this nail shop for a shellac manicure about 2 days ago and already my nails are peeling. Last time I checked, shellac is supposed to last long. That's the main purpose. I get shellac mani/pedis ALL THE TIME and not once have I had an issue with the polish peeling this quick, no matter what I do. I didn't think they could screw up something simple as shellac. I noticed the sign on the wall that basically said that they don't give refunds or redo's once you leave the premises, but if you take pride in what you do, then you need to own your work and acknowledge when you screw up and be willing to make it right, if you value your customers. They're basically saying that they will take no responsibility or accountability whatsoever. That's part of the reason why I'm writing this review and I don't even leave negative reviews like that, but if you're gonna have a policy like that, then you damn sure better be perfect at what you do. I would highly not recommend this place, as they were taking off my old nails they ripped one nail all the way to the cuticle and then as she was doing the cuticles they cut three on one hand and two on the other and they are just now healing up did not do any anabiotic's for them or anything after they cut them. This is the WORST nail saloon I have ever been to. I've been getting my nails done for 10 years. The first mistake was the nail tech did not listen to what I wanted. I came with green acrylic nails and wanted a fresh set of peach color acrylics. She dismissed what I wanted and she proceeded to keep my green nails on and do a refill of ombré with peach. She wasted both of our time just for me to say this isn't what I want. When she started to take my acrylic nails off she didn't soak my nails she pulled them of with clippers, which was so painful. The only reason I dealt with the pain is because I was in a rush. Then she started to put on different types of plastic nails on my fingers that weren't the same shape, width, or length. I like long nails and I'm willing to pay for what I want. However, the length of the plastic nail was already too short and she was going to charge me $15 more for a nail that I wasn't going to be satisfied with. I got upset and decided to leave.
