The owner "Tina" is very rude. She got an attitude because I wanted to change my color this was before she even started on my nails so why she had an attitude is beyond me. Every time I corrected something about my nails she would start speaking in here language to her works and they would stay to look and laugh that made me very uncomfortable I don't recommend at all read more

Bad service. I called to see if they could see me without an appointment; they told me they could, but when I arrived, no one attended to me. I waited for over 10 minutes, and they just kept speaking in their own language and look at me, but no one said a word in English to me read more

Went in for acrylic removal on my toes and what they did was grab another plastic nail tip and dig under the acrylic to pop off the acrylic nails??? I usually do my removals at home and I use a more proper technique with a nail drill. What they did was just ridiculous and unprofessional. read more

Extremely rude to me and another customer that walked. Did my nails exactly how I told her to NOT do them. I would never come back.

My friend chose this place when we were getting our nails done for her birthday. We each had a nail tech who didn't listen to what we wanted. I told my nail tech I just wanted regular nail polish, but she said powder was better. She cut my nails and then glued acrylics at the tips and cut them. I told her I didn't want my nails too long, that I was happy with the length they were when I came in. She said it's better longer and proceeded to do my nails. My thumb nail was crooked and I pointed that out. She said she'd fix it later but never did. The same thing happened with my friend. She picked a color but the lady she had was trying to use a different color from what she chose. She then kept nicking my friend. My friend told her she was hurting her, and the lady said if she was hurting her, there would be blood everywhere. I had to trim my nails when I got home because they were too long for me to remove my contacts. We will not be back at Tina's anytime soon. Our nails were just okay, but not worth the aggravation from poor customer service. Listen to what your customers are asking you to do, not what YOU want. read more

I feel very uncomfortable and disgusted with the treatment I have gotten from this nail shop. The staff was rude, and the color I asked for wasn't provided on my nails and when I spoke to the owner they had a worse attitude than the other employees. If I could give a 0 star I would because I would hate for someone to put their nails at jeopardy. read more

The worst place ever. I pray my nails heal. Press ons here I come I've learned my lesson. Always trying to give people n places the benefit of the doubt. My pedicure was good, my full set was performed by John who isn't good he doesn't listen and he files your nail to the nail bed even when you say it's hurting. They didn't want to take anything off the services or anything. They were willing to let me walk out with this mess while in pain. I went back in and Tina redone my nails to look better but i'm still in pain. Overall, I will not be going back to waste my time, money or energy. read more

I can understand why there's negative reviews... Tina is quite the character, but I lovvveeee the way she does my nails. They come out PERFECT every single time. I'm on my 4th refil and my nails look great. I'm all about quality over quantity honey I'll match your attitude just get my nails right! LOL. Anyway Kathy is the best ive ever had do my pedicure. $45 dollars on pedi and I get wax, scrub, massage, paint, and beautiful toes. Cant wait to go tomorrow read more

This is the dirtiest, smelliest nail shop I've ever been in. Sometimes convenience is not worth it. I should have known this was going to be a disaster when there were zero customers inside and the nail salon directly across the street had a line and a 45 min wait. This lady was extremely rude, and nasty. The service is horrible and she does shitty work. If you care about your time and money, I would recommend finding an alternative. This is not the spot. Highly disappointed. read more

I had to call the police after they locked me in and eventually got a ticket of $100 citation for theft for not paying the $15 to remove one nail. The owner was charging me $55 for basic no shape one color application or $65 for two colors .She had already been what I believe unwanting to do my nails so Told me that outrageous price thinking wouldn't want the nails. But I did agree the price at the moment ,because my mother was already in the chair getting a $30 pedicure. Minutes into the process I stopped the woman Who was the owner ..because she applied way too much glue the drip down my fingers and applied so much acrylic to one nail it also dripped and was gummy like. (I had no other work done to my fingers but that is one individual nail. ) Just after seeing her apply so much product to one finger I immediately stopped her and let her know that I was not satisfied and didn't want to go further. She then proceeded to speak to me very rude and even rushed her staff to finish my mothers and sisters pedicures to get us out of the shop . I did pay for the pedicures of course because those employees were nice but we're only following the rules of their boss who was extremely rude . Once we paid and then proceeded to walk toward the door with no nails applied to my hands Where we discovered that we were locked in and being held there by force because I refuse to pay $15 to remove one individual nail. The owners Very intimidating large husband became very agitated even aggressive in a matter of getting in my face like if he was going to hit me. I calmly but irritated tried to explain to them I would not pay 15$to remove 1Nail of acrylic and was held for 20 minutes until cops on the phone did advise them that it was illegal for them to hold us against r will. Another staff member eventually let us out but we did not leave the parking lot .I stay there until cops arrive ,Because then after being let out the husband followed us as if we were fleeing .He stood behind our car took pictures spoke rudely recorded us like we had ran out or something. We never Got in our car we stood there behind it until cops got there. Unfortunately Cops then Gave me a citation for theft under 100$... shaking my head worst experience #MyMothersAnniversaryPedicure ruined #WorstServiceOverpriced VIDEO IS PUBLIC AT FB VALERIE MARTINEZ read more

I came to this place a week ago for some baby pink coffin nails. I came out with short purple nails with glue residue still on my skin. The staff was so rude and rough. I told the man working on my nails that it hurt and he proceeded to work. I was sweating bullets and lightheaded from the pain! I went in asking for powder and was given a polish . My cuticles are absolutely wrecked and my nails are so unbelievably crooked. When I complained, I was brushed off or belittled. I'm so sorry for the negative review, I would just hate for someone to go there and get painful service. For those who have had a pleasant experience, I am definitely happy for your luck read more

When I found out I was locked in I CALLED THE POLICE!!! The other customers that were in there with me told me to be calm because Tina was not worth me going to jail over. This lady cut me to the point I bled. She threw her overhead lamp at me and paraded a bottle of mace in my face. She assaulted me and she's lucky I did not press charges. I filed a complaint with the Texas department of licensing and regulation. Which I encourage you all to do if your experience was anything like mine. These people do not respect us. Go where you are respected. The salon license number is 781417. Tina's personal license number is 1638802. read more

It was my first time visiting this place since they opened, I was greeted right away. I couldn't find any of their prices for sets or anything which I did not like. I asked for a manicure and right away this older woman started helping me and asked if I wanted my nails cut or not which my first answer was no but I changed my mind and noticed a change of attitude with the lady...she then started glueing the fake nails directly without doing a clean up on my nails did not cut my cuticles and honestly I was not satisfied with the customer service there. I showed a picture of what I wanted and received a totally different look. But hey I still left a tip and I can say they look cute but very bulky from the side. read more

BEWARE, THEY WILL BURN YOUR FACE AND PEEL YOUR SKIN OFF. I went to this place on Monday afternoon around 6pm to wax my eye brows, chin & mustache. I also got a pedicure and manicure for me and my 92 year old mom. I started to get my mom's mustache & chin waxed, but it hurt me so much I told them not to do my mom. They kept laughing as though they were making fun of us. Anyhow, they burnt my face and pulled my skin off all over my face. The lady kept waxing and waxing. I knew it hurt me really bad, but I had no idea they had burnt me and pulled my skin off until the next day when I was still in a lot of pain and I was scarred really bad. I went to tell them and show them what they did to me the next afternoon. They offered to give me $20 back, but I told them my boss, whose an attorney, said they needed to refund me the whole $100.00 I spent there because they scarred and hurt me really bad. The manager told me no, she would not give me the whole $100.00 back and that they had an attorney too, so she did not care. I grabbed a card and left without the $20.00. Therefore, I give them the most horrible rating possible because they injured me and the manager did not care. The lady who waxed my face did apologize, but she needs training on how to do waxes. I have had my face waxed many times before and this has never happened to me. I attached a picture of myself from Tuesday and one from Wednesday. The lighter picture is from Wednesday. read more

I went to this nail shop for a shellac manicure about 2 days ago and already my nails are peeling. Last time I checked, shellac is supposed to last long. That's the main purpose. I get shellac mani/pedis ALL THE TIME and not once have I had an issue with the polish peeling this quick, no matter what I do. I didn't think they could screw up something simple as shellac. I noticed the sign on the wall that basically said that they don't give refunds or redo's once you leave the premises, but if you take pride in what you do, then you need to own your work and acknowledge when you screw up and be willing to make it right, if you value your customers. They're basically saying that they will take no responsibility or accountability whatsoever. That's part of the reason why I'm writing this review and I don't even leave negative reviews like that, but if you're gonna have a policy like that, then you damn sure better be perfect at what you do. I only went here as a last resort, but looks like I won't be resorting to this nail shop anymore for good, no matter how desperate I get. read more

Came one time and the nail tech that was doing my nails started to cry the owner "Tina" was arguing with all her employees I had to tell her to shut up and she still kept on. Well made the mistake again and went again thinking well let me give it a try!!! Nope she was still very rude. Told me that to let her do her job she's been doing it for 30 years that that is why she has a "big" nail salon. My nails came out so shitty I told her that for her to have experience she did a very shitty job. As I'm walking out she kept on running her mouth gave her a piece of my mind! Never again will go into this "Tina's" place. Hell her nails looked shitty. read more

1st time going to the place. Never again. Got dip nails, the lady was about to leave them super uneven. Requested for her to even out the lengths, still wasn't to my liking. She didn't even clean up around the area near my cuticles some nails are more shinny and smooth than others. I can do a better job with press on nails! Sad!! My sister went with me and she was going to get a full set with nail polish and the lady was going to charge her a good 10 bucks more than last time that she went She also wanted to charge her more for keeping some length on the nail. My sister ended up not getting her nails done. Wish the lady hadn't already started on mine when this happened if not I would have left. Never coming back to this place!!! read more

So my hubs sent me to get a pedicure for mother's day. I had an appointment, but was called and asked to come in earlier. I came in at the new scheduled time, but they had me sit for over an hour waiting. It got to my original appointment time, so I decided to leave. They had taken someone who was a walk in and someone who's appointment was after mine while I waited. Last time I was there they cut me and I had tog er antibiotics. I keep giving them more chances because they are so close to home. I won't be returning here. read more

A little over a week ago I had my nails done at Tina's Nails on 1960 and Aldine Westfeifd. I had not use this nail salon before. I received a gift certificate as a birthday present. I would highly not recommend this place, as they were taking off my old nails they ripped one nail all the way to the cuticle and then as she was doing the cuticles they cut three on one hand and two on the other and they are just now healing up did not do any anabiotic's for them or anything after they cut them. Just said they were sorry did it hurt. Glad I didn't get a pedicure. read more

This is the WORST nail saloon I have ever been to. I've been getting my nails done for 10 years. The first mistake was the nail tech did not listen to what I wanted. I came with green acrylic nails and wanted a fresh set of peach color acrylics. She dismissed what I wanted and she proceeded to keep my green nails on and do a refill of ombré with peach. She wasted both of our time just for me to say this isn't what I want. When she started to take my acrylic nails off she didn't soak my nails she pulled them of with clippers, which was so painful. The only reason I dealt with the pain is because I was in a rush. Then she started to put on different types of plastic nails on my fingers that weren't the same shape, width, or length. I like long nails and I'm willing to pay for what I want. However, the length of the plastic nail was already too short and she was going to charge me $15 more for a nail that I wasn't going to be satisfied with. I got upset and decided to leave. I was charged $20 for basically enduring pain. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. After walking in and requesting a refill with shellac and a polish change I was told the wait would be 10mins. ... after waiting 30 minutes I was finally placed in a chair. Refill done. One nail looks totally different than the rest and the polish job is horrible. After getting up from the chair I ask who's chair do I go to for my toes the male employee goes on to tell me that no one is available to do my toes. Mind you The 30 minuets I waited, they sat two women before me who wanted pedicures instead of doing my polish change first. I told the owner, Tina, how displeased I was. She did not seem very concerned. But she did offer to polish my toes, which did not come out any better than my nails did. $40 wasted. read more

I'm not recommended that place. Tina was very Rude and angry Lady with me. I was very surprised .

They did a good job but I seriously feel like they took all my money.
