I went in for an emergency exam; I hadn't been taking care of my teeth (my fault!). The dentist…read morenoted an abcess and scheduled me for an immediate root canal, the next day. He gave me pills to take an hour before the procedure. I called later that day to confirm the appointment time, and it turns out that the office had made a mistake. The dentist was not able to handle the procedure, and referred me to a specialist. I made the first available appointment with the new dentist, which was 2.5 weeks away. Over the next few days, I began experiencing intense pain as well as a bad taste in my mouth as I began to irrigate out the gum abcess with a Waterpik, a procedure I had discussed with the dentist. I called a total of six times over 4 days, asking for pain relief and asking if I needed antibiotics. I have a heart condition, that the dentist knew about, that can make tooth infections very dangerous. Finally, after six calls / being maxed out on OTC pain meds / worried sick about infection, I was able to speak to someone at Peach Orchard Dental. They said the dentist agreed that of course, I needed antibiotics! Why this wasn't prescribed sooner, I don't know. They offered to call it in (5 days later, mind you). I also inquired about pain meds. The nurse I spoke to said she would "ask the doctor", and treated my reasonable request almost as a special favor. That was the impression I got, and it didn't sit well with me, not after fumbling the "root canal next day" visit and leaving me without antibiotic protection for five days. This wasn't the right dentist for me. It may be for you, they seem very polite and they did great work for me on a simple filling, but I can't take chances with infections. Also, it's a horrible thing to have to beg for pain relief. Horrible. My father, he was a proud man. He would not be happy with my having to beg for relief. I ended up seeing Urgent Care for antibiotics, and now I'm just toughing out the pain. I can't eat on that side of my mouth, I'm constantly angry because of the pain, and it's still two weeks until my oral surgeon appointment. Wish me luck!

Dr. Perpall is thorough and helps to problem solve when you have pain or concerns. He is really patient with me as I am deathly afraid of needles and takes time rather than jamming a needle in your face because he has other patients. His chairs also accommodate those who have had neck fusions! I also like the early morning appointment availability.

This place exceeded my high expectations. The friendly receptionist Frances was accommodating to book my appointment for a dental cleaning the same day. Then, Frances located rapidly my dental insurance. Moreover, Frances gave me the email of this business. So, my former out-of-state dentist could send my recent X-ray wings to save on unnecessary expenses. Prior to the time of my appointment, a kind reminder was sent by text message to my cell. Everything was pristine on-site. The luxurious waiting room was modern and soothing with grey touches and plenty of comfortable seating area. Complementary coffee, tea and chilled bottles of water were offered. There was also a TV screen, magazines and children's books. The bathroom were located on the right side of the reception. The competent, customer-oriented and pretty hygienist Brooke did a thorough and painless dental cleaning. I appreciated Brooke measured beforehand the depths of each of my gum pocket. After the dental cleaning and polishing of my teeth were complete, Brooke gave pieces of advice on how to improve further my maintenance routine: 2.1. I should diminish the amount of sugar consumed. 2.2. Teeth should be brushed with an extra-soft toothbrush at a 45 degree angle. 2.3. Each tooth should be flossed individually by being hugged in a C motion. Then, the knowledgeable, agreeable, honest and easy on the eyes David Perpall, DMD performed a visual inspection of my teeth. I liked David didn't try to sell me unnecessary services. This dentist seems to have the best interests of his customers at heart. This venue has convenient opening hours: you can book appointments as early as 7:00 am. You can park easily on their free parking.

We saw Dr. Blanco growing up for many years and received several fillings throughout our time. However, as a young adult, I have had 3 different dentists point out deficiencies in the technology and technique that was used in our fillings, first at age 23, then 26, and now again at age 28. I have had to have all 5 fillings that I received from Dr. Blanco removed and replaced. I was told by 3 separate dentists, all of whom I trusted, that they were using old fillings ("technology from the nineties") and that much better options would have been available at the time that I received the fillings. They shared that as a result my fillings were cracking 5-8 years before what could have reasonably been expected, hence the additional hours of dental work and $1000 I had to spend getting all replaced. My brother had a similar experience. In fact, his fillings were so compromised that he had to have a corrective root canal. While there are always several factors to consider here, the common denominator has been multiple professionals pointing out flaws in the technology and application. I hope things have improved at Dr. Blanco's since then -- I would be curious to know and you should ask before having yourself or your children receive fillings here.
