This place literally ruined my life.
Where do they get off thinking they can get away with this?
They have no right to be this good.
My experience with Kitfox Pediatric Dentistry was the single best experience I have ever had with a medical provider.
And I do mean literally. Not allegorically. Not metaphorically. In the most direct, concrete, and unambiguous sense of the word.
When I say "best," I mean across every provider I've encountered--personally, with my soldiers, with my wife, and with my children--over more than a decade, across multiple states. I can't give you an exact count, but it's a lot. Kitfox doesn't just outperform the competition; they annihilate it. The gap in quality is like watching Tom Brady or Cristiano Ronaldo compete against toddlers. It's not close.
From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, I knew something was different. Most medical offices not attached to a hospital are tucked into sketchy strip malls where you feel like you could accidentally buy drugs. Kitfox's building is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. I exited my vehicle without fearing for my life--a refreshing change.
Then we walked into the lobby, and I was immediately offended.
The waiting room has the nicest furniture I have ever sat on. Not the usual soulless, spine-destroying chairs that feel like a preexisting condition--actual comfortable armchairs and couches. After picking my jaw up off the remarkably clean floor, I noticed the arcade and kids' movie theater. At this point, the hardest part of the appointment was convincing my child that we actually had to leave and that this was, in fact, a dentist's office and not a permanent play facility. I have never before had a child disappointed that their dental appointment was over.
I was still processing this when--shockingly--within two minutes we were called back for the appointment. They tore me away from the most comfortable waiting room I've ever experienced.
Beyond the incredible facility, the staff was outstanding. Every single person--from the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentist--was professional, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I'm used to front desk staff at medical offices making me feel guilty for existing and metaphorically spitting on me for daring to give them money. That did not happen here.
And the care itself? Phenomenal. My own dentist treats my mouth like it's an MMA fight--I leave bruised and bloodied. The staff at Kitfox treated my child with such patience, gentleness, and care that it honestly almost brought me to tears. The entire experience felt like a Hallmark movie, except it was real and involved dentistry.
To top it all off, they actually take TRICARE Dental (United Concordia). I'm still convinced this was some kind of elaborate scam because they charged me $0. There is no logical explanation for receiving this level of care at that price.
My only complaint is that they don't treat adults.
And that's why they ruined my life--because now, for the rest of my days, every other medical appointment will be met with crushing disappointment.
