I want to give a huge shout-out to Dr. Emmanuel C. Ngoh, Ms Celly, Ms. Teresa, Ms. Brittany, Ms. Amber and the remainder of this professional team for his exceptional care, which was highly professional, empathetic, and completely successful. I spent many years in the military and retired a senior leader that started as a buck private, deployed 4 times and was away from loved ones at least 5 years. Having led teams in high-stress environments, I know exactly what real professionalism, integrity, and operational excellence look like. First, specialized endodontic procedures are highly complex, require advanced technology, and are not cheap to perform. Dr. Ngoh utilizes cutting-edge tools like 3D CBCT scans for a reason--they allow for precise diagnoses that standard X-rays completely miss. Before any treatment begins, patients review and sign a thorough stack of forms detailing the exact procedure and costs. While dental medicine is an evolving science, these advanced procedures are highly successful 9.9 times out of 10. Second, the complaints regarding insurance and costs show a misunderstanding of how specialty care works. Being 'in-network' does not mean an insurance company covers 80% of a specialist's total fee; it means they cover a percentage of their own 'allowable amount.' The remaining balance reflects the actual cost of specialized care. Furthermore, the high-quality office design and amenities are clearly intended to make highly anxious patients feel comfortable, not to inflate prices. Finally, mutual trust is required for safe medical care. If a patient publicly accuses a provider of running a 'scam' or acting fraudulently, that vital bond is completely broken. In those rare moments, it is entirely reasonable for a doctor to refuse service. Sometimes, if your complaints lack objective clinical merit, not saying anything is the adult way of doing it. Dr. Ngoh and his entire staff are outstanding specialists, and they have my highest recommendation.

I had an extremely distressing experience with Dr. Ngoh that I feel obligated to share…read more I was initially referred for a root canal due to very minor, radiating pain from a previously capped tooth (#30). However, after the procedure, I experienced sudden and severe pain--far worse than anything I had before treatment. Dr. Ngoh told me I needed a second root canal on a different tooth. I was in such intense pain that I agreed to paying for the additional procedure on tooth #31. Unfortunately, the second root canal did not resolve anything. The pain and cold sensitivity remained exactly the same, which strongly suggests the post surgical issue was not properly addressed. When I returned feeling exhausted and desperate for relief, I was met with a flippant attitude and told I simply needed a night guard due to teeth grinding. He repeatedly stated that I am medical and should understand ( I am an ICU nurse.. not in dentistry). I understand that medicine is a practice and sometimes adjustments need to be made as no individual is the same. What's most concerning is that I left his office with a developing abscess following his procedures, without being prescribed antibiotics. My face and surrounding tissue became red, hot, and extremely painful. When I became visibly distressed, his response was highly inappropriate--he touched my knee and told me he "loved me". I left in a state of absolute panic. I later followed up with my general dentist, who was alarmed that a second root canal had been performed on a tooth that was not part of the original referral and did not appear to require treatment. They immediately prescribed antibiotics to address the infection. After seeking a second opinion, I've now been told I need retreatment of the original tooth or possibly an extraction and implant--outcomes that could potentially have been avoided. This entire experience left me feeling taken advantage of, dismissed, and deeply uncomfortable. I would strongly caution others to seek a second opinion before proceeding with treatment and definitely think twice before choosing Ngoh as your endodontist.

Since then Stephen Goldberg has retired and Adam Goldberg is my dentist now...I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. In a world where large dental groups are on every corner it is nice to have the personal, professional care of a family owned business! Dr Adam Goldberg is great and the staff is warm, friendly and professional! If you are looking for a dentist you cannot go wrong with the Goldberg Dental Group ;))

He has to be one of the most genuine, caring professionals I've met in a very long time. Not that I was trying to be nosey but I saw him come outside to talk with a patient who just left and seemed upset. He spoke to me like I was a member of his family and offered conservative recommendations, while assuring me of my overall dental health (my prior dentist quoted me a huge price for all the "work" I needed). He has a great sense of humor, is upbeat and positive. While I don't have a fear of the dentist, I think he could truly put anyone at ease. It's a family business that he has with his father...I love that! They do accept United Concordia and sees younger patients ( I will be taking my toddler to see them next month). *Update! I got a handwritten thank you note from Dr. Adam! Classy!!

All while watching Netflix to a television attached to the ceiling. For past few years my answer to that question has been Hobbs. Now the quality of this team and Dr. Hobbs, top notch. That's not even something to consider. They are some of the friendlist individuals I have ever met, and I grew up in the deep South. What I have come to appreciate about this business (because it is that) is timeliness. If your appointment is for 2 pm, be there a few minutes early because at 2 pm you will be walking back to a room. Whatever the purpose of the visit, you will taken care of and on your way quicker than most haircuts or fast food drive-thru's. Aside from the typical care, I also began the use of Invisalign almost a year ago. They have walked me through this process and are helping me progress to a better smile. I will continue to come here for oral care for years to come.

Then I noticed how fresh and open everything felt. I barely waited in the waiting room and after being pulled back it was only a few minutes before Dr. Hobbs came in. She was so cheerful and friendly. I was starting to sweat because I've had a few bad instances with dental visits when I was younger. She reassured me and before I knew it, she had me fixed up and ready to go! I highly recommend her practice!
