Great for kids 6 months - approx 8. Lots of climbing and toys to play with. Parents can relax with cafe style food onsite

I prefer having a coffee or two after getting done Immigration things and spending quite and relaxing time here with a cup of coffee. Before Immigration so many people including sending off people and pretty much noisy and chaotic.

And yet, they provide such a diverse offering of food choices. When you're clamoring for "just one more" of whatever cuisine down under has to offer, you can be almost certain to find it here. The crowdedness of the food court can be misleading. There is plenty of seating. The last two times I flew out of SYD, I just HAD to have one more bowl of delicious laksa. The place where I found it also offered types that I had never even seen before. Roast duck laksa? Interesting. They were out of it anyway, so my choice of seafood laksa was a no-brainer. Admittedly, it's not as good as the local places around the Greater Sydney area. The broth was on the sweet side, but the included fish was incredibly tender and flaky. One thing to note is that the food court is in the "before customs" area. That's a huge plus when you want to spend a few more minutes with your friends and family. Go grab yourselves a doner kebab or some aussie meat pies. In fact, it's a great excuse to get to the airport early and get checkin out of the way. On the down side, you still have to give yourself ample time for immigration processing and security clearance. I'm not sure how good the food options are once you're in the "after customs" area. To be safe, I recommend eating at the food court.

They noticed the popularity of pancakes on the menus in American restaurants and wanted to bring that love of pancakes to Australia. They opened their first restaurant in Adelaide in 1965 and then opened around Victoria. The original founders separated with one moving to Sydney and opening Pancakes On The Rocks. Since that time, the chain shrunk, revived, and then added to the menu. We came here for a late breakfast or early lunch with our Australian friends, who had fond memories in their youth of this small chain. In fact, one mentioned getting kicked out of a location many years ago. Fortunately for her, the statute of limitations has run out and there is no "banned" list in existence. :) Among the crowded dining room, we managed to snag a nice big booth, and settled in. Our friends wasted no time heading to the pancake part of the menu and ordering sweet selections that I'm sure would max out my A1C number. Their portions were huge and they dug right in. Gayle and I were boring, and each ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad, which were quite good and plentiful. And yes, beer and wine go with salad and pancakes! Our wait person was fun and playful, and everything moved through our stay quite well. There's a QR code option, but we still like to order from a tactile menu.

The host seats you and you can order using the QR code or at the podium. The pancakes were very delicious but, the bacon reminded me more of ham but tasted like bacon. It wasn't cooked hard like I would prefer. The eggs were good I added salt and pepper for flavoring. The hash brown was okay lacked taste so I had to request ketchup and was my least favorite. Overall if I went back for breakfast I would only order the pancakes.

The people that decided on the little uneven tiles below clearly decided it looked great aesthetically but practically not so great when the table rocks. Nothing some sugar packets can't fix though. I ordered the breakfast brioche and juice for 14.90 which I thought was a bargain. The juice wasn't even a normal orange juice or Apple juice it was one of their fancy fruit juices. I selected the watermelon, pineapple, orange and apple juice. It was so fresh and delicious. Off to a great start! So my meal arrived in quick time. In the description it's relish, sauted spinach, grilled haloumi, poached eggs with balsamic glaze. Everything about this dish was perfect except one key part... The poached eggs were not poached but cooked all the way through. So disappointing!!! The portion size, the flavours, everything else was all there. Just missed the poached egg goodness. A pretty big mistake in my opinion. My husband ordered the omelette with chilli chicken, mushroom and cheese. This came out after I'd finished my meal so was a bit disappointing both meals didn't come together. His meal was the total opposite of mine. Flavours definitely weren't there. It was dry and overly spicy. Just tasted a bit bland with lots of chilli if thst makes sense. The sourdough needed some butter with it too as that just added to the dryness of the dish. All in all not a great first impression of the shed.

I was pretty impressed with the 16 different flavors of cronuts/cruffins they bake each day. However after trying 4 different flavors (Red Velvet, Boston cream, Orange spice & custard and Chocolate Lavender) I wasn't impressed anymore. Mr. Holmes and Dominique Ansel preserves the meaning of quality over quantity. This is not reflected at Brewtown Newtown. Nearly all their pastries lacked a heavy dose of cream. The cronuts did not even have real layers of croissant in between. The cruffins weren't flaky enough. Sure it was covered in sugar but it was missing that sweet spot (literally). The taste wasn't quite there yet. I also got to try something I've never seen before and to be honest I'm a bit embarassed I ate something so sinfully disgusting. The Elvis burger. I have no idea why it's called that and I don't think this is in anyway a rock star burger. It's basically a burger with plain cronuts as the buns. The moment I took a bite I could feel the heart attack I'm getting when I turn 85. I tasted every drop of oil that was soaked the cronuts and the beef patty from the fryer. Elvis Burger, you won the award for the most disgusting thing I ate in 2015. Do I regret it? A little. Was it good? Kinda. Would I do it again? Probably not, I clogged enough arteries already. P.S. They also have a ridiculously long wait for brunch, I ended up getting take away. This place is kind of overhyped, given it's predictable location (the hipster neighborhood of Sydney.)
