I just want to express my feelings of gratitude for great service this Doc provided for me. I recently moved to Chino Hills and was looking for a different doctor. Many offices I've called were booked up 2-3 weeks ahead - I didn't expect to schedule my appointment any time soon. After calling my health insurance Molina - representative suggested Dr . Pogodin who also speaks my language. I called the office and they scheduled the appointment the same day. During the physical exam we discussed everything , I mean above and beyond, including health of aunties and grandparents, my parents health, all vaccinations. Dr. Pogodin was very attentive and personal, and there are no small details in his exam. I've learned so much about Managment of Diabetes, correct Diet and importance of regular exercise. I will definitely go back and bring my family to this Doctor. read more

I've been trying to schedule an appointment since October or November and they still can't get it right. I am not usually the type of person to write this kind of review but I feel very uncomfortable with the lack or professionalism and competence from this office. When I reached out I asked if I could please be scheduled in person as I have a few concerns of moles and rashes on my body. The receptionist said how does the end of the December work, I said yes perfect. Then when I went to quest they said they did not have an order for blood work okay so I call after and this office says it's the same one from May okay no big deal, she said I will have to reschedule you as the results won't come in. That's fine and she said that I would schedule for Jan 21 over the phone I said no I clearly stated I want to go in person she said oh well that's not possible why? I told her about my finger and that it won't heal she said to email her pictures. I did not want to do that but I kept the appointment for the phone. I went to quest again and once again they said the order did not go through I told them check the one from may they said there is nothing there I called this office and they were about to tell me no but I was not returning to quest again so she electronically sent it. Okay perfect then I get a call that they have to reschedule for the 23rd okay no big deal. It's the 23rd I waited an hour and nothing I called the office and they said I haven't been a client since 2020. I went off deservingly to the lady on the line because I know for a fact she is the same person I spoke with due to the sound of her voice. Regardless please listen to the 1 star and get healthcare service anywhere else. I am so disappointed in the type of service carried by this provider. I also was prescribed medication previously with a simple do you ever get depression question on my last phone call appointment with them a couple of years ago without any other testing or questions. Very thorough huh read more

I have been Dr Pogodin s patient for about 3 years. I can say that he is the most compassionate, knowledgeable primary care doctor. He would spend the time and make sure he addresses all the issues. He would also call if I need it. Although my insurance is HMO and sometimes it takes time for my insurance to issue referrals, I can always trust Geovanna and Monica to follow up. I can also get fast appointment. I can highly recommend Dr Pogodin and his team. read more

Update: My mother has lost 50 pounds, and is no longer pre-diabetic. Take that, you scumbag.

Dr Pogodin is "one of a kind" , a physician not only dedicated to his practice but also to every individual (patient) he touches and relates with. I am very bless to meet him and be empowered by his medical assistance.I am thankful for the respect he had shown to me and the rest of his patients. read more

This is my honest review with Dr Timur Pogodin. I really like this office in Canyon country especially since the woman in the office are so nice. I saw this Dr for an allergic reaction in 2019 and what caught me off guard was that he asked me whats going on with my weight? I admit I'm a curvy girl i am 5'3 and at the time I was 23 years old weighed 150lbs. I don't consider that to be overweight but whatever I agreed I needed to lose weight, I thought it was unnecessary that question but whatever I brushed it off. I have not been in that office since 2019 , but I actually went for a physical last month and yesterday the Dr called me to go over my bloodwork and he asked me how was my weight loss coming along????? I thought it was very odd, and the dr should open a weight loss clinic if he is really concerned with his patients weight. I don't really care, but I'm not going to lie it kinda bothered me .I do not think it is professional considering I have not gone in with concerns about my weight. The Dr should have a little bit of sympathy of how he can make a woman feel with these questions that have nothing to do with the reason of the visit . I don't think he means it in a malicious way he probably is concerned of a person's overall health ,but to a woman this triggers mentally. read more

Dr pogodin is very thorough and strict. He definitely feels that good health is important and makes sure he gives you every test necessary and goes over the results in detail with you. If you're not afraid of straightforward honesty Dr pogodin is the doctor for you. This man does not candy coat the truth and does not cut corners. He is very intelligent. He does his his share 100% and will give you the best advice possible. The thing I like most is that he is patient and will take the time necessary to answer your questions completely. If you're serious about getting your health in top shape then Dr pogodin is the doctor to go to. read more

Disclaimer: Aside from this review I have reported Doctor Pogodin to the California State Medical Board. Written below are events listed while visiting Doctor Pogodin at a different location. That location is Valley Vita Medical Center. To Whom It May Concern, I have seen Doctor Pogodin on several occasions. Today was an especially disrespectful, inappropriate, and cruel exchange. To begin I am young woman, 21 years of age, height of 5'5 and I exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet, I am not overweight, I will not list my weight due to personal reasons. Today I specifically went in to get a referral to see a dermatologist due to a sore on my skin on my back. The doctor came in the room and asked me why I came in for a visit. I told him about the sore on my back, he then proceeded to look at the sore and inspect it. He laughed, LAUGHED and proceeded to tell me that my boyfriend should wash my back with soap, and that he would not be giving me a referral to a dermatologist. This is a disrespectful and insanely inappropriate. He then went over my blood work paperwork with me. He proceeded to explain to me that I was overweight, and that I was going to have diabetes if I continued to eat "carbs and candy". I explained to my doctor that my diet is very balanced, and there is no "candy" in my diet. He then interrogated me, about why I have not had the HPV Vaccine. I will not list the reason due to personal reasons but a doctor should not be questioning one's judgment and caution to vaccinations. I left the doctors office crying, due to the harshness and belittling words that came out of his mouth, I am shocked and feel disrespected by a man of his stature. This doctor does not know how to speak to a young woman, he does not know how to be sensitive or compassionate toward someone that may be insecure. I have reported this doctor to the California state medical board and will be finding a new doctor as soon as I can. ALSO*****This is not the first awful experience with him. To anyone who is reading this please, do yourself the healthy favor and see a different doctor. read more

i too had a horrible experience with this animal just recently. his beside manner was deplorable and treated me so harshly and demanding i do things i wasn't prepared to do..like put something up my butt...and laughed at me when i didn't comply. stay far away from him....this guy is what is wrong with our medical field. if u enjoy being spoken to like a child and laughed at then he's the guy for u. i told him to f-off and should have punched him in the face. no one will ever treat me or my family..especially my children ....creep!!! one star is too much! read more

I have to give it to my Primary Care Physician, Dr. Timur Pogodin, for his elevated approach to treating his patients like me. I have been under his care regarding my health issues for almost a year now, and the medical attention I get from this Doctor is almost unparalleled. He makes sure I get the necessary medical assistance I need and keeps my personal health journey motivated despite my "unknown". Dr. Pogodin has my respect as he continues to inspire me to be positive not only about my health condition, but my life as well. At first, my encounter with him had so much feels like constraints and apprehensions. All along, I was surprised because he was able to clear the air right away to make room for trust and openness. Now, as we progress, he never fails to take extra step to engage me (I have a lot of fears tackling pains and all other health concerns) in a more productive and health-induced discussions. I have this impression of him...he listens a lot (whether nonsense or no-nonsense), makes his assessment patiently and tries to provide the best solution possible. He is very knowledgeable and conducts himself well. I really admire his display of professional work ethic which is to me, second to none. I like that he is approachable and flexible that I could easily reach him whenever something comes up that he needs to know like medications/prescriptions and all other unexpected emergencies. Overall, my experience with Dr. Timur Pogodin remains positive and growing, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends who are looking for a highly-committed premium health practitioner. read more
