The woman assisting me was directly rude, and when I calmly expressed how I felt, she dismissed me completely and waved me off with a hand in the air. I mentioned it to Connie, one of the managers, expecting a more professional response, but she also talked over me and dismissed my concerns. After years of loyalty, I've decided I'm done. I have a choice where I spend my money, and I won't continue supporting a business that treats customers this way. I've since heard there's another tailor just down the street near Subway who does great work and actually treats people with respect--that's where I'll be going next.

I found an alternate number so I called it, from a different number. No answer but she did call it back, but when she heard my voice, she hung up. We found Kennei B on Instagram and she ensured us that she was capable of making the dress. Boy were we wrong for trusting her with our prom dress. She's unprofessional, selfish and money hungry. Every time we told her what we wanted she made an excuse as to why she couldn't do it, even simple things as making it fit her body. I paid Va'vumm by Kennei B 550 dollars just to walk away with an unfinished dress and she felt no type of remorse knowing that the dress looked horrible. She knew we weren't satisfied and she did absolutely nothing about it. We asked her to take the dress in and she lied and said she did. At this point it was nothing to do or say to her because she didn't want to do anything to the dress. She thought this was a simple dress that she could take a few hours to do because that's how horrible the dress looked. You could tell she put no thought or effort into making the dress. My daughter was so stressed out and sad because that woman only wanted money and didn't want to make her customers happy. My daughters prom was Saturday and we called Dapper Cleaners and Alterations Thursday trying to see if they would be able to alter the dress and have it ready by Saturday. They were able to fix the dress and Saturday when my daughter tried her dress on, her whole mood changed, she was ready to party, all thanks to Kay at Dapper Cleaners and Alterations. Kay was so understanding with what we wanted and I am just so happy that we reached out. She even gave us an awesome price for all the work she had to do. Beware of Va'vumm by Kennei B, she does a horrible job and it's all about what she wants, not you. Kay at Dapper Cleaners and Alterations is kind, understanding and before you walk out the door she makes sure that you're happy with her service.
