Unfortunately, over time we've both noticed their customer service has steadily declined--but my most recent visit was the worst yet. The woman assisting me was directly rude, and when I calmly expressed how I felt, she dismissed me completely and waved me off with a hand in the air. I mentioned it to Connie, one of the managers, expecting a more professional response, but she also talked over me and dismissed my concerns. After years of loyalty, I've decided I'm done. I have a choice where I spend my money, and I won't continue supporting a business that treats customers this way. I've since heard there's another tailor just down the street near Subway who does great work and actually treats people with respect--that's where I'll be going next.

I was required to pay the entire charge for the alterations of $325. When I returned on the promised day, she talked to me from behind the locked door. She told me that she was not "finished" and that she would call me. A month later, after never hearing from her, came to the shop. She gave me a bunch of phony excuses, and I asked to see my dress. She hadn't touched it! No work had been done AT ALL. She asked for another week and promised to be finished. As you can guess from my rating, she still had not touched my dress. All she could say was that she was " sorry". and that next time (there won't be a next time! ) she'll work on my order. Her shop is full of completed garments ready for pick up. Everyone else's garments were a priority. Mine just were not a priority. If you are not one of her regulars, she just pushes your garment aside.

I usually go to Diamond Alterations, but decided to try this business while I was at Firewheel shopping today (3/2). Needed a dress hemmed about 1 inch, because it was too long, and I need it in five days, by close of business Friday. For context, provided pictures of hem and dress material tag. The male attendant 'studied' the hem (inner and outer shell) for about three minutes and then gave me an absolutely RIDICULOUS quote of $120!! I guess I'll be going to Diamond Tailor tomorrow or taking out my own sewing machine so I can get the job done in about 15-20 min (5-10 min because I'm rusty ). That is absolutely ridiculous! I'd even pay $50-$60 understanding this is a business, knowing full well the true cost is about $10, but $120?! Absolutely not. My family won't be going back and we do not recommend.

A couple of other places were doing similar jobs (peak wedding season alterations) and declined due to work load. I found this place and he said he could do it. I dropped it off on Wednesday afternoon and needed it by Saturday. It was done by Friday afternoon. When i inspected the dress was the bottom was uneven and frayed. He charged $100 for a poor job.
