Rivco unfortunately seems to offer their warranty in name only…read more In early October I purchased a set of driving lights for my Honda Goldwing, which shipped quickly and I installed them almost immediately. Everything was fine until the first cold day of the season, when I woke up and found that one of the lights was cracked and not functioning. It was a fine pressure crack, almost certainly due to freezing temps. I messaged Rivco and they refused to honor any warranty, saying that the lens "must" have been hit by something and that this crack "must" have resulted in the light to fail. Rather than argue I just bought a new light from them. Before it even arrived though, the *other* light pod began to fail. There were no cracks or anything on this one, but it would randomly flicker and dim to the point that it was unusable. After testing my charging system and testing the light on a 12V auxiliary battery, the light itself continued to have issues and I ruled out an issue with the bike itself. Worth noting is that I used all of Rivco's provided wiring and nothing outside of that. I followed their instructions to the letter. Finally, when the replacement light arrived, I was frustrated to find that it wasn't a direct fit. The provided hardware was too large for the existing bracket and the existing bushing was too wide for the bracket on the new light. When brought up, they agreed that I could modify it to fit but didn't offer a correct replacement or proper bracket. Rivco's latest response was that I could either buy yet another light for $100 to replace the flickering light, or that I could pay to send them the flickering light to have them test it and, if it did prove to be defective, they could again ship me a replacement at my expense... Since they appear to me to be reluctant to honor their warranty, I don't have enough faith to send this in and waste more money just to have them tell me there's nothing they can do. I'm already $500 out and have three lights that I can't use. I'd say that if you want to buy from Rivco, at least make sure it's a bargain deal or that it's a part you're confident will not fail. They're cool parts and fitment is great, but I bought Rivco over Denali or a no-name eBay brand deliberately for their warranty, only to be let down.

Ordered tie down kit for an Indian Roadmaster and they sent bolts that were too short. When I…read moreemailed Rivco for a solution they instructed me to send back the short bolts. (Like they didn't believe me) or go to the hardware store and buy longer ones. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. This is what CS has become. Rivco is only concerned about the sale not the fitment.

When your power sport item breaks down it is not a fun experience !…read moreThe difference of how you feel depends obviously if the service dept can fix it and can do it promptly. Most places miss an important part , the interaction empathy and communication make it a much more bearable situation. I recently had issues with my snowmobile and had service work done here. I was not happy with my mechanical problems but the smiles and great professional service made a difference. I would caution anyone considering having Milwaukee Powersports for any service work. If you have…read morethe option, CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. At minimum make sure you look over your vehicle before taking delivery. My experience has been horrible when I have brought my snowmobile and SXS in for warranty work. They CONSISTENTLY returned my vehicles in either an inoperable or UNSAFE condition after the repair. January 2022 - Snowmobile * Returned sled to me with ZERO coolant in the engine after dealer service April 2022 - Snowmobile * Returned sled to me and it would not start. Found out the main harness was not plugged in after dealer service * Returned sled to me with wires hanging directly beside my clutch that would have gotten wrapped around the clutch if started * Did not reconnect the negative cable on my battery October 2023 - SXS * Returned my SXS to me with the Seatbelt Incorrectly installed. The mounting plate was clamping the seatbelt at the base of the seat so that the belt would not retract once extended (pic) * Retuned my sled to me after a warranty engine replacement with an improperly installed gasket that resulted in an engine oil leak (pic) * Returned my sled to me after a warranty engine replacement with the ground bolt for the bus bar not screwed down which caused fuses to constantly be blown January 2024 - Snowmobile * Returned sled to me with a wiring harness zip tied to my spare belt (pic) * Did not reconnect the battery charging cable (pic) Feedback was given to the dealership at each incident. As shown above the feedback consistently fell on deaf ears as more and more incidents continued to occur. I ended up providing the feedback to Polaris instead of the dealership through a Polaris Dealership Survey request. The dealership and I have parted ways.

Horrible company, employees and standards. They sold me brakes that said they would fit my bike…read more The infact did not. So I payed to ship the brakes back, but didn't receive anything for almost 2 weeks after they received them. After finally responding to my emails they told me the new brakes I sent back were damaged and they are keeping all my money. No proof, no pictures, just lies and attempts to gaslight. I showed proof of the brakes condition and broke down the geometry of the bike I had and explained in detail why you can't mount them or even try and use them. Dropped off with the original carb and amazon cheap carb plus new battery in box. I got it back in early July and they charged $350 to remove mouse nest in the air cleaner and it ran crappy for a day or two and then wouldn't start. Came back in September to get it - wasn't done and asked for refund. Bill said yes but then i went to pick up and they got it running. They said the battery was weak but 'look it's running fine'. Asked for the original carb - said it was on the bike - It's not. The original is now missing. I got it back home and it again ran for 1 day. Went back to ask for refund - Bill said no just bring it back. This shop will not see it again - they lie and rip people off. They took my money, had my bike all summer and it's no better than when I brought it in! Do yourself a favor and pay a reputable shop.
