When your power sport item breaks down it is not a fun experience ! The difference of how you feel depends obviously if the service dept can fix it and can do it promptly. Most places miss an important part , the interaction empathy and communication make it a much more bearable situation. I recently had issues with my snowmobile and had service work done here. I must say between BENNY AND DANNY I was actually thrilled with the communication empathy and care that they delivered . I was not happy with my mechanical problems but the smiles and great professional service made a difference. I would caution anyone considering having Milwaukee Powersports for any service work. If you have the option, CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. At minimum make sure you look over your vehicle before taking delivery. My experience has been horrible when I have brought my snowmobile and SXS in for warranty work. They CONSISTENTLY returned my vehicles in either an inoperable or UNSAFE condition after the repair. January 2022 - Snowmobile * Returned sled to me with ZERO coolant in the engine after dealer service April 2022 - Snowmobile * Returned sled to me and it would not start. Found out the main harness was not plugged in after dealer service * Returned sled to me with wires hanging directly beside my clutch that would have gotten wrapped around the clutch if started * Did not reconnect the negative cable on my battery October 2023 - SXS * Returned my SXS to me with the Seatbelt Incorrectly installed. The mounting plate was clamping the seatbelt at the base of the seat so that the belt would not retract once extended (pic) * Retuned my sled to me after a warranty engine replacement with an improperly installed gasket that resulted in an engine oil leak (pic) * Returned my sled to me after a warranty engine replacement with the ground bolt for the bus bar not screwed down which caused fuses to constantly be blown January 2024 - Snowmobile * Returned sled to me with a wiring harness zip tied to my spare belt (pic) * Did not reconnect the battery charging cable (pic) Feedback was given to the dealership at each incident. As shown above the feedback consistently fell on deaf ears as more and more incidents continued to occur. What a load of Corporate BS Greed, no wonder there are less and less cycles on the road every year. Can't even take your Cycle to get service at the dealership! We all upgrade bikes at some point, I won't be doing that here since they have an expiration date on their Customer Support. If I could give negative stars I would have. I was told my motorcycle service would take 1.5 to 2 hours. After 3 hours the job was done. Not really. The condition that I brought the motorcycle in the shop was not the same after. I brought the motorcycle back to the shop to repair what had happened during the service job. I was given a salad language of what the condition of my motorcycle. I was told that the motorcycle was needed work on parts were fine when I brought it in. Being honest is the foundation of trust. I wouldn't trust this company to wash my windshield. read more

Earlier this year I took my Ryker in do to it cutting off. I was told that it was low or didn't have any gear fluid. After awhile, I was told that my bike was ready for pick up. I go to get it and I see them still working on my bike trying to get it to go in reverse. They finally get that fixed and they give me my bike back only to find out they damaged my music. I spoke with Kyle, the service manager who said they had no reason to be buy any wires or speakers as they worked. Once I got home, my bike didn't go in reverse. I called them back to pick it back up. Once they picked it they had had again for some days to fix the reverse issue. After getting nowhere with Kyle regarding my music, I was introduced to "Dan" ( I forgot his name if that's not it) the owner, so he takes over the issue of getting my music back right. After a few days I get a call that the bike is ready and I can come pick it up. Once I get there, "Dan" comes out and tell me that a wire was cut towards the back and it was fixed. I turn on the bike and only some of my speakers were working. He tried to get me to take the bike and come back Tuesday as this was a Saturday. I declined for obvious reasons. Now a few more days goes by and the bike is ready again, cool!! I request it to be dropped off to my house and they did...only for the driver to damage my bike, realize it, and still try to give me my bike. (He thought I wasn't paying attention.) When I approached him about it he acted like he didn't know what he did. I told him to take it back to have it repaired. When I finally got my bike back after that, my bike went into limp mode, I had to unhook my music just so that I could get home. Although "Dan" did what he could to get music going... I found the staff there to be liars to cover their mistakes. 1. Initially they said they didn't have to work near any of the speakers wires so they couldn't have done it. 2. "Dan" said to me that it was a speaker wire that was cut towards the back. 3. The delivery driver was willing to give me my bike knowing he damaged it. The service received was a 1 out of 10. I would never utilize MILWAUKEE POWESPORTS again!!!! read more

I had been trying to get my wife to buy a scooter for a bit and then suddenly out of the blue she wanted one. Last fall we loaded ourselves into the car and drove to Sportland2 to check some out. We worked with Pat and he was an honest salesman. After a little looking she fell in love with a 2015 Honda Metropolitan. A little later we were signing all of the paper work to buy it. Everything went smoothly and she was so happy. After riding with her I realized it just wasn't much fun with her riding her metropolitan and me on my Triumph Bonneville. Well I had a 2000 Triumph Sprint ST I had planned to sell but decided to trade it in on a little Yamaha Zuma at Sportland2. Was very happy. Then this year came and someone tried to steal my little Zuma. Went to Sportland2 to get an estimate for parts so I could repair it. Pat was still there, talked and decided to trade it in for a 2016 blue Honda Metropolitan. Once again everything went smoothly and they were having a motorcycle show to keep us entertained while we waited. All around a great place. I plan to return next year to buy a Honda Rebel for the wife! Also hers matches her Fiat500X and mine matches my Sky Blue Fiat 500! How perfect! read more

I called last week inquiring about pricing on tires and installation for my 02 Goldwing. I was told they could tow my bike in for $40.00 and $1 per mile. They said they could get it in Tuesday or Wednesday.The pricing at 445 for tires was too high. When I called back Monday and told them I had found tires for $319 they suddenly didnt have service available until July 11. Rude and stupid. I bought my bike about a hundred miles north of where I live and was looking for a reliable place to have it serviced. You certainly are NOT getting my business. read more

Sportland 2 has been around for a long time. And the staff ihas always been very friendly and make one feel welcome. I needed some parts. Normally I would use an on-line resource to save personal time chasing down parts. I knew the parts would be at full Honda MSRP, and that was OK for this purchase. Imagine my surpise when the cost was 15-20% over Honda's suggested retail price. While I am greatful that Sportland is a resource for the local riders... I am also distressed at the additional cost over the MSRP. Even though it was only a few extra bucks... somehow it seems wrong, and I do feel a bit abused. I believe that Honda's wholesaler agreement with most dealerships allows for a robust profit margin on OEM parts already. Just my thoughts. My hope is Sportland's management will rethink this biz practice. read more

I'm an interstate rider from NY. Great fly and ride experience. I'd been planning on upgrading my bike and had been patiently waiting for a deal on the bike model that I wanted. I was willing to ride the bike back to NY as long as it was an acceptable distance and at a good price. A used bike appeared in Sportland2 at a reasonable price. I called and spoke with Cory. He took hi res photos and a video for me and was very easily contactable on the phone. He made the process of buying a bike, sight unseen, a little easier. He conceded that they were not experts in BMW so could not go into detail about the bike's history and condition. I called around Milkwaukee BMW dealerships myself and I was able to locate the dealership that services the bike. Good history. I put a deposit down. When it was time to collect the bike, I flew in to MKE where Cory picked me up himself. Sportland2 is less than 10 minutes from the airport. The bike was exactly as I expected. Kevin made sure the bike was spotless. Very pleased with the purchase. Cory also followed up to see how my ride back was going. All in all a very smooth purchasing experience. read more

In 2020, this location winterized my 2017 Sea Doo. It didn't start when it was returned to me. They couldn't find anything wrong with it until the Spring of 2022. When I picked it up, the plastic molding wasn't screwed together properly. I pulled out one of the bolts with my fingers. I had to bring it back to have bolted back together. Next, I got it in the water and the Variable Trim System is inoperable. Craig and Kyle from service are nice guys, but the mechanics are inept. read more

I gave one star because my buying experience at Sportland 2 was fine. Pat did a perfectly fine job with that whole process. That being said, DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR BIKE THERE FOR SERVICE!!! Worst service dept. in motorsports. Used them 3 times as they are so close to my house. The first time they put saddlebags on to low and had them resting on the pipes. The result was a burnt hole through the bottom on the way home. Same time the installed a seat back for the passenger. Left both bolts for one side off. The second time, 48 hours for an oil change and once over safety check. Third and final time to install grips. They broke the throttle installing them and it took 6 days to get the new part for a service that was supposed to take 30 mins. I had to call and see if the part came in on the 6th day and was told they would get to it 2nd or 3rd thing they did the next day if they had time after having to make me wait for a week already. Tried to speak to the manager who was not available. I would buy a bike from them again but will never let anyone I know ever get one fixed there. read more

Visited this dealership to look at a bike I saw online. Called before I got there to see if I needed to make an appt and I was told I didn't need to. Got there and you could see they were busy. Wasn't sure if I needed to wait in line or reserve a time slot to talk about the bike so I asked a man that had just finished talking with another customer. Right off the bat this man was very abrasive. He was very short in his answers and rushing us along and just talking really fast. I said we had some questions. He Acted like we were crazy for making sure it was okay to sit on the bike. I Asked about if we needed an appt to sign papers and purchase the bike. He couldn't answer my question with a simple answer. He was just worried about arguing with me in how I was going to pay for it. I said I can just pay for it all today. He wanted to argue that I can't leave with the bike today. "Yes,I said I understand that. I just want to know if I need to make an appt" I asked the man why he was being so argumentative and if he was busy and couldn't bother with us that he can just go help the other people. Even another customer couldn't believe he acted like that. So after we left I called to speak with a manager because of course that made us not want to purchase the bike from that dealership now. He just rushed us out of there. We were even going to buy helmets and other things. The manager just sat there defending the man and stuck up for him saying he was a good salesman. Yea right! He drove our business elsewhere by being rushed and argumentative about purchasing a freakin motorcycle. We are also in the market for a utv and they lost our business on that. I wasn't looking for a discount from the manager or anything just wanted him to talk to us like customers and not stick up for his guy the whole time. They lost our business forever! read more

A family member was contacted by this store regarding an inaccuracy in a purchase. He was told he still owed the store money. It seems to me that if there was a mistake with the stores system and he was undercharged, that is the stores error, not the purchaser/consumer. That is terrible customer service especially since the amount was less than $10.00. I understand that a businesses goal is to generate a profit but insinuating to a customer that they still owe money 2 days after a purchase is bad business. My assumption is because the customer was a young adult and new to purchasing large ticket items, he felt he had no option but to comply with the stores request. In reality, good business practice would dictate your store take the inaccuracy as your loss. Having family members who are business owners, they would never call a customer 2 days after a purchase to inform them they still owed money especially if they had any interest in keeping the customer and avoiding negative public relations. He was always available to take my calls and answer any questions or concerns that I had which was amazing because I lived 3 hours away and going to the dealership in person was not an option. Cory Walked me through the entire process of buying a new motorcycle including what bike would be best for me paying close attention to what I wanted out of the experience. When I arrived at the dealership to buy the bike Cory was amazing he walked me through every feature of the bike and even how to maintain the vehicle through the break in process. Cory was even kind enough to help me load my new bike and show me how to properly strap it down in my truck. Some cycle shops can be uncomfortable places to deal with, as their employees are gear-heads, and customer service is not their forte'. Not Sportland 2! Whenever I go in there, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, greets me with a smile. They don't rush over and try to sell me and they treat me like a valued customer rather than a non gear-head outsider. My wife even likes going in there! I recently brought my bike in for scheduled maintenance and winter storage. Their price was reasonable, both on the Mx and on the storage ( $175 for 6 months, climate controlled). What blew me away though, was getting a Christmas card from them, but not your usual business CC. It was an actual folded CC in an envelope, and on the inside, they wished me "Merry Christmas", and had a photograph of my bike, by itself, in front of a Christmas tree! I was delighted! They certainly didn't have to do that, but they cemented a loyal customer when they did. They always have had what I need at a reasonable prices and have a large selection of cycle gear, helmets and whatnot. They are my MKE cycle shop. read more

I had never been there until recently. I have always been a bit of an old school guy who gets loyal to a shop where I feel comfortable, taken care of, and most importantly can trust their staff, and I had a place I went to exclusively for many years. Add to the fact they are in Oak Creek and I live in Menomonee Falls, it seems like they are on the other side of the world from me. However, the shop I used to go to recently closed and I had to find a new shop. Not having received the best vibe from the other shops, well more like stores then shops, around me I decided to give Sportland 2 a try. I have only been dealing with Sportland 2 for few months now, but I must say all of my trips there so far have been very positive. They have a very shop, not store, like vibe to them. I have dealt with nothing but quality, knowledgeable people who are into the product/sport, and they support a lot of product and multiple sports. I was pleasantly surprised that I can actually get Yamaha OEM parts there, even though they are not a Yamaha dealer. Their inventory of parts, gear, and bikes was far more than I expected it to be. Their prices seem to be the same on everything I have looked at as all the big internet dealers, except since you are buying it in a store you don't have to pay to have it shipped from some online store. Yeah there is the gas to drive there and the time spent there, but the fact I can touch, feel, try on what I'm buying, and have some knowledgeable human interaction more then makes up for the gas money. A few days ago I went there with my son for him to look at a used sport bike. The sales person we dealt with, sorry I'm bad with remembering names, was very knowledgeable about the bike and the other bikes we looked at for comparison, very patient, and so no pressure it was amazing. After agreeing on a price, which we felt was extremely fair, I felt so comfortable with things I left my son to work with the salesman to fill out all the paperwork on his own while I shopped for other things. It was his first time dealing with the paperwork end of things and a very good life experience for him. It went great and he is very happy with his purchase, well more so if it were 70 and sunny, but Sportland 2 couldn't help with that problem. I just want to say thanx to all the Sportland 2 staff. I stored my bike over two winters here and I had one positive experience and one nightmare. Unfortunately the latter experience is a severe warning to all those considering your bike storage or maintenance here. My bike was not only returned with a missing battery strap, but a stripped fearing bolt with an additional fearing piece cracked and yet another bolt stripped. Beyond all of these things I was contacted midwinter about a recommendation of tire replacements which I CLEARLY denied because I found the tires much cheaper at another location. When I brought in the tires I purchased a month before bike season to have them installed, they informed me they already went ahead and installed new tires upon my request. When I confronted management about the issue they flat out told me I lied and told them to go ahead and replace my tires even though I showed up with my new tires in hand. Simply ridiculous! I certainly do not appreciate someone telling me to my face I am the one in the wrong when they were obviously confused that no means no. I wouldn't recommend this place for as there is much better service available in Milwaukee for much cheaper with honest people. Although they agreed after much argument and my refusal to pay for the tires they miraculously decided to install for me, I was still out the restock fee to return the tires I had purchased. Beyond that the next year after moving I found my that my battery strap was missing and that my fearing was cracked. Yes, I understand I should have found this crack upon receiving my bike from storage, but I do believe we cannot always notice everything, especially hairline cracks that evolve into major ones later in the season.
