State Farm recommended Gerber Collision. We take it to Gerber in Racine, WI and then the fun begins. The first estimate was approved by State Farm, which for some reason prompted Gerber to send in another estimate. The second estimate was approved, but for some reason, so they say, Gerber never got word from State Farm. After a couple of weeks of not hearing anything, I call Gerber to find out what is going on with the car, and find out they are waiting for an appproval from State Farm on their estimate. Really! You are just sitting there and waiting for an answer! So, I do all the leg work and call State Farm and have them call Gerber so we can get something going. Fine, so I thought. Once again Gerber sends in another estimate, a little higher this time of course, and we start this charade all over again. Finally after 4 estimates and 4 weeks of not hearing anything, and nothing done on the car, State Farm says the estimate is to high and they will have to call it a total loss. So, we now have to look for another car, and Gerber never fixed anything. It was almost like they didn't want the business. Fine, they will never see us again.

They made her van look new again, and we didn't have to pay, but the pricing was reasonable. The pricing was good enough that I feel they are missing out on a lot of jobs. When I designed kitchens for a living, I would give the client a few different designs, so they could pick what they wanted. Gerber should have giving me a few more estimates for scratch removal, and clear coat because they do exemplary craftsmanship. I want the entire van done now. I'll go to them to get an estimate, but they could toss out a few prices, and many of us would be all in.

I have had my car washed many times here at Gerber Collision & Glass. Although I have not needed…read moretheir other services, I am very happy with the car wash area. I love the location which is on the north side of town just east of Green Bay Road on Washington Road. It's so easy to get to and usually is not too busy. They offer self serve vacuuming, drive through washing, waxing and drying. Once you purchase the type of wash you'd like at a machine while still in your car, you then pull into a spacious and clean garage for an automated touchless car wash. The most expensive option offers under carriage rinse, full wash and wax and then a blow dry type exit. Then outside there is a man who hand dries all vehicles for a more complete service. Wow! All that for approximately $10!! The dry guys are always so friendly. They smile and wave hello before they get busy wiping off any remaining water from your car. It's done quickly and with a big wave goodbye, you are on your way. Whenever I am in town, I make sure to stop by Gerber for a quick clean up!

Bob was was my service advisor he's was very polite and courteous to me. I didn't feel any pressure at all and that was a relief after being involved with an accident and not knowing how this goes. Once my car was done i talked to a women named Jennifer she was very helpful on what to do with the payment and rental. They pulled the car up and IT LOOK LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED WOW. Gary was awesome he went over my car and made me feel like a family member. Thanks to all the employees in the back that fixed my car. I will definitely come back for there service and expertise, hopefully not soon lol.
