Broccoli beef. Broccoli slightly overcooked.
Jeff I.

It's passable Chinese takeout. Got broccoli beef. The broccoli was slightly overcooked, but that's part of getting Chinese from a steam table. Portions were generous, and it was fairly cheap, so I guess I'll be back?

Fried rice, string bean chicken and sesame chicken

Chinese food was so yummy and the lady attending was so kind. The restaurant was small, clean and cute. I'll be back! They had vegetarian options for my boyfriend, he was happy.

Recently, one of my good friends reminded me how good Tim's express is so I decided to try it out again it's been here for years and Scotts Valley. Walked in. The gal was really helpful. Asked me which three items I wanted to put it in a box I ordered rice and two other options. Inside was OK, reminded me of the way it looked 20 years ago super fast and easy as she was checking me out I asked for an extra sauce she was super rude to me about that it was gonna cost me an extra whatever didn't want to tell me what Price it was and then told me she was only gonna charge me $.50 I really didn't care. It was the fact that she was just so rude to me. She stated everyone charges for sauce these days and I said not really. I go to red pearl in Boulder Creek California. Jenny is the owner. She has sauces sitting out never a big deal to take an extra so I was just kind of offended by the way this employee or owner at Tim cuisine kept harping on me about the sauce it felt uncomfortable I won't come back. When I got home and ate the food, the rice was great. I'm not sure what one of the meat was. It didn't taste very good and the chicken sesame/broccoli was excellent.

I'm a pretty big fan of Chinese fast food. Whenever I see a spot, I make a mental note to check it out. I was pretty excited to try this place, but it didn't quite hit the spot for me. I would recommend it over Panda Express because it's cheaper, but otherwise, I'd say the food and the portion sizes are both slightly below what I'd hope for. Sesame balls were a good value though, definitely get them. Driving by it, it seems to be open during this Covid-19 crisis, so I suppose it may help satisfy some Chinese food cravings in these times

Tasteless. A disgrace to Chinese delicacy. I wish they would put more effort on cooking.

The worst Chinese food I've probably ever had. Too salty. Mushy, thick chow mein noodles, strange flavor. Stay away!

The food is mediocre at best and the customer service is worse. I guess that's what fast food looks like though.

Hands down the best egg rolls I've ever had. They're made on site and they full of fresh cooked veggies and have a hint of curry spice.

First time here, and my wife and I loved it. We had the Kao Soy (which they offer, but it isn't on…read morethe menu), Tom Kha with chicken, and a Larb salad with chicken. All 3 dishes were fantastic, and we still had leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Kao Sook Thai Cuisine in Scotts Valley had a really rough night for takeout, with service issues…read moreovershadowing the food. Arrived at 5:25 PM on a Tuesday night with no tables available upon arrival, so we opted ordered takeout: pad see ewe, pumpkin curry, and fresh spring rolls. Rica took the order, estimating 20-25 minutes; we left at 5:46 PM and returned at 6:07 PM. Phnom asked for my name to check on our food at 6:12pm but never got back to us. Checking in again at 6:23 PM, Rica said the noodles and curry were ready, just waiting on spring rolls. At 6:40 PM, I asked Phnom to just cancel the rolls and refund the tip. He gave a receipt saying it was removed, but no, only the spring rolls had been removed, the tip was still there. (Why did I tip on takeout before receiving my food?) Going back led to confusion, with manager Mo first accusing non-payment despite Rica confirming the original order from over an hour earlier. Phnom had refunded the full bill by accident; Mo apologized, comped the two mains, and said no need to repay. Never got the spring rolls. Key Strengths: - Mo stepped up with accountability. Areas for Improvement: - Walk-in takeout took over 75 minutes while dine-in got priority. - Fix tip refunds and accuracy, other reviews mention similar slips. - Improve communication between staff and kitchen on apps like spring rolls. - Train staff like Phnom and Rica to actually service customers rather than repeating sorry and giving a fake smile while not doing anything. Recommendation: Try Thai Heart nearby instead.

The best Chinese spot on this side of the hill! If you live…read morein Aptos or anywhere in Santa Cruz County, you need to check out Four Streams Kitchen. I've been looking for a solid go-to Chinese takeout spot for a while, and this place absolutely knocks it out of the park. Do yourself a favor and order the Szechuan Boiled Fish (Sichuan Shui Zhu Yu). It is insanely flavorful, perfectly spicy, and easily one of the most legit, authentic Chinese dishes I've had in the area. If you prefer the classic American-Chinese comfort staples, those hit the spot too. The Kung Pao has the perfect balance, the potstickers taste completely house-made, and my family is obsessed with their chow mein.  The ingredients are always fresh (especially the veggies and seafood, try the fried prawns!), and the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. Great portions, amazing value (especially the lunch combos).

I would give this 3 1/2 stars. It was the first time ordering last night through DoorDash. First, I…read morewill say that in the Aptos area this is far better than anything in this town, and way better than Panda Inn. I probably should have just picked up the order because $80 for Chinese food for two people is a bit steep and honestly ridiculous. The first negative thing is the fact that we ordered pork fried rice and ended up getting the fried rice but with chicken instead so OK, edible, but there is something about pork fried rice that I really like so that was disappointing. Also ordered their vegetable green bean with garlic sauce dish, and the green beans were cooked nicely although a side order of green beans for $16? Yes, I made the decision to order simply because I wanted a veggie with the rest of the meal. I ordered a chicken breast dish that was coated in some sort of a Panko-ish crunch. That was good although I wasn't expecting it to be fried. When you're hungry, you just eat it anyway... Truth. also had the potstickers which were typical nothing special, although they did serve it with some sort of a hot pepper sauce, which was good although the seeds in it were quite tough. They also pack a little container of what looked like white vinegar weird not at all like what you would normally have. We will probably try again as we explore the menu, but I will definitely pick up next time. Oh and finally with an order that clearly served two people they throw in one fortune cookie. How cheap is that? Jury is still majorly out on this place, but just wanted to share for now.
